Afternoon Mayers! I'm in a *I'm so over it being winter can it just be spring already * funk! We're supposed to get another 3-6" again tonight.

Sea- Love the 1980 grad night ticket. Let's see...in 1980 I was a few months shy of turning 2 and still in diapers. Amazing that you and Lena are still so in love with each other. Must be all the cool videos you send her. It's definitely the little things that keep a relationship going.

Lake- Hope your sister is taking lots of pics for you! The opening ceremony was VERY well done! So beautiful! Made me want to move to Canada.

Haha - You should move here. For one thing we have less snow!!!!

We enjoyed our valentine's day, and are enjoying a long weekend as well. Today is Family Day here in Ontario, several provinces celebrate it! A nice lazy day of watching the olympics as a family. So great!!!!

I will post some pics soon. I didn't get a lot of great shots. Most were taken with my older camera (I didn't want my good camera to get ruined or stolen), which isn't that great -- all the pics came out dark and I have to try to fix them. Plus it was so humid in the waterpark that the lens kept fogging up!

Yes we really love each other very much. We never fight or argue.We are pretty flexible and easy going people. (I just do what she tells me to do)

I like to try to be a little bit creative with slide shows and videos - it is a lot of fun and I get much satisfaction that my pictures are being used, rather than just sitting in storage on my hard drives.

Morning MAYers!

We had a 2 hour delay this morning. More snow. Imagine that.

I am so ready for spring!! Then summer. Then fall -- which means DISNEY!!!

I will work on posting those Splash Lagoon pictures today!

We left last Thursday after school (the kids had Friday off) and headed for Splash Lagoon indoor waterpark! http://www.splashlagoon.com/ It's a couple of hours from here. We got up there around 5:00 and checked into our room. Our hotel was connected to the waterpark. We dropped off the luggage, changed into our swimsuits and headed for the waterpark!

DS8 of course was not too brave and didn't go on any of the big waterslides. So DS10 was nice enough to play in the "little kids" section with him for a bit!

We had some pizza for dinner!

We ended up seeing 2 other families from our town that evening. Funny since it's not really all that close! Guess they had the same idea we had since there was no school on Friday.

The waterpark closed at 8:30 that night. So we headed back to the room to shower, watch some TV, and go to bed.

Friday we got up and got ready and headed back to the waterpark. We had arcade cards that came with our package, so the kids wanted to use them up first.

The kids made a very funny video with Elvis!

Then it was back to the waterpark!

We also ate at Steak & Shake http://www.steaknshake.com/ and TGI Friday's http://www.tgifridays.com/home/welcome.aspx over the weekend and did some shopping!

So, instead of a MK view, you got an A/C view! SplashLagoon looks awesome! A perfect getaway during the cold weather. So your hotel was the Holiday Inn Express, right? It has direct access to SplashLagoon? That's a really good idea. You can go directly from your room in your swimsuits and never have to go outside. Your boys sure seem to behaving a great time!

My sister is attending the ladies luge finals this afternoon.
She says they have top row seats in the grand stand, somewhere in the middle.

She and her husband, my nephew who is 6, and has a red and black ski jacket and my niece 8, who has a pink and grey one... keep your eyes open.

We have spotted them once so far.

I was able to fix a lot of the pictures, but some of them still look grainy to me. Oh well, at least we got some.

We were actually in a Comfort Inn, it is connected to the waterpark too. Very convenient!

Nope. Never been to Splash Lagoon. It's near Erie right? The only waterpark (besides Sandcastle) that I have been to nearby is the Kalahari in Sandusky. It's super fun there! We went almost exactly a year ago.

I need to post my trip plans for WDW soon! I need a vacation like you can't believe.

We have already decided where to make ADR's and for which days (unless TGM's LCPC's come out and I am WAY off base) I can call about a month from now for them, so I want to be ready! I don't know if I am going to call or go online yet. I seem to have a hard time accessing my ressie online - so I don't know if I trust making my ADR's on the site or not.

Yep, Splash Lagoon is in Erie. Pittsburgh really needs an indoor waterpark, don't you think??? I mean it's cold here for like 7 months out of the year! They would do a ton of business! Hmm. . . Maybe I should mention that to DH, he is always looking for good business ideas!

Yes, you need to post your WDW plans and get working on those ADR's. . . I would do them online. I did all my November ones online and it was so simple! I was worried the site would be slow, but it wasn't.

I am under 3 months until I can make my ADR's. . . MAY 10th is the day!! Right around the corner.

Thanks, everyone! Come to think of it, I was a MAYer and didn't even realize it. 2 of our 3 Disney trips have been in late May, the most recent in May 2006, after my DD's college graduation and DS's high school graduation.

Shelly-I thought it was a Holiday Inn Express because of the outside pics. The room looked really fun with the bunk beds and separate kids' area!
