Hey -- do you ever see any dog leashes at DL? We have a WDW collar for our dog and food & water dishes, but we can't find a dog leash anywhere at WDW. . . His collar is very neat, but you can't really see it because he is so fluffy!

My kids were VERY shocked when they found out about the Disney trip. I don't think they understand that it is so close. Andrew keeps asking me how old he will be and when I tell him that he will still be 5 he doesn't get it. It's slowly starting to sink it. They took off another link this morning from their countdown chains and I got out the suitcases. Then he got all excited!

I've been trying to post pics and an update on my PTR but am not allowed for some reason. I can edit previous posts on it but can't quote anyone or make a new post. Weird.

Wow Sea! My Disney gift cards for my trip next month are burning a hole in my pocket after seeing all those pics! I'm so excited to see the 2010 stuff!

Hope everyone has their New Years resolutions all written down and ready to break.... er, I mean keep.


My resolution is the same--- no resolution. Because I can't be tied down to all that. Free Spirit.... you know the type.

Looking forward to seeing it in person very soon. Well not soon enough... but still- we all know that planning it out is 90% of the fun.


Thanks to everyone concerned with my Mom. She is doing better- the swelling has gone down a bit and she is a tiny bit mobile. She is good as long as she stays off of her feet- but that doesn't seem to happen too often.
We are going to downtown Charleston today- to return to the scene of the crime. Gotta get me some pralines....

I've finally been able to update my PTR with the Christmas surprise. They moved it to Completed Trip Reports for some reason.

Mari- So sad they're closing the WOD store. Maybe you can get some good discounts at least before they close the doors.

Jo- How's the weather in Carolina? It's SUPER windy and freezing here in MD.
Glad to hear your mom is making progress.

I knew that WDW has a kennel. Never thought to look there. It's not really worth going out of the way for though. So don't make a special trip to the DL one. I am just surprised to have never seen one with the collars & bowls.

Hey everyone---

"Oh Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the... Morning".

It's going to be 62 today. I just walked from my Aunt's vacation home in Downtown CHS to the Starbucks-- as I was leaving my mom was yelling --"Jodi! Get a coat! It's freezing out there!" to which I stuck out my tongue.
It is wonderful --- but in only two days time, I shall return to the land of the frigid--- it's cold in AR.
Sorry for everyone dealing with freezing temps. I would urge everyone to remedy the situation immeditaely by planning a trip to WDW. Post haste.




Hugs to all--- I must rush--- there's shopping still left to do-- and Pralines to buy. Yes- they are that good that they deserve the bad 'Naner.

Hi All! I'm in such a happy mood. All is well with my Chase Visa account and no new attempts by mean people at anything. Got my new cards in the mail yesterday and they are all set to go with us to Disney! I put a fraud alert on all 3 credit bureaus and I'll be monitoring those credit reports closely for a while just to be sure.
Only two day care kids today and it's naptime. Made myself a cup of tea. Taking some time to say hi to all my DIS friends. And once the little ones are finished squirming on their nap mats and have finally given up the fight to not nap, DS and I are going to play a game or two of TSM on the Wii! Can't have a better day than that! Well, unless you're in Disney of course! Which I will be in about 3 weeks and 2 days!!!!
Oh and my suitcase are already out in DS's room with summer clothes in them. No procrastinating here!

Jo- It's wonderful to hear that you're having such a great time with your family! Nice to hear you still stick your tongue out at your mom. I don't feel like the only 30 something woman that still reverts back to listening like a 6 yr old when around her mom.

Shelly- Are you going to get any of this mess they are calling for over New Year's? They still aren't sure if we are getting a mix or ice or snow or just plain old rain yet. All I know is that it's freezing and the wind has been horrible here. My patio swing blew over which has never happened in the 5 years we've lived here!

Hi Mayers - It's raining here in LA LA land. Not too cold - 58.

My wife went down to the park yesterday with a friend and picked me up another Christmas gift.

Hi all... all our holiday craziness is now over. Jason the kids and I can enjoy a few more days of just the 4 of us now, before monday when Jason and the kids go back to work and school.
We had a great time with all our company, but it is nice to get our house back to ourselves.

We have had a bit or rain and a tiny bit of snow over the holidays...I hope we get a lot more, I would love to get awya for some sledding or skiing this winter.
