LOL. I'm on it! And yes! I did used to do a lot of theater, but I stopped after high school and instead of going to college for theater I went for Culinary Arts. I thought that it was more practical. If I only knew then what I know now.

I hate the self proclaimed WDW 'experts' I know that we (on the Dis and similar boards) all have a lot of Disney knowledge. But, get over yourself. Millions of people visit these parks every day, every year and it is HIGHLY unlikely that everyone will have e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g down to a precise moment.

Shelly's experiences with the busses at POR weren't nearly as bad as mine and Kait's - and I would hate that if I didn't have someone else at the same resort as me to back up the things I was saying and then some one calling me out on it. UGH!

The Dis should be a happy place where people give their inputs and share their experiences and their recommendations. But, we're all different. If you need help ask. If you have advice to give, give it. If you don't agree with me, give your input and let people make their own mind up about it.

But just because you don't agree with me is no reason to get self righteous and petty.

I can understand if she was adding to your experience by saying something like' I have stayed there X amount of times and we've never experienced that blah blah blah' but she was basically straight up calling you out. Get over it lady!

My daily TR preview ~

Yes, Tigger and I were going to bounce away together!!

I'm still trying to work on a title for my TR, if I decide to go ahead with it. . . Any ideas? I was thinking something about the Osborne Lights, the Castle Lights, the crazy wind from Ida, or the split stay, or all of those things! I just can't seem to put it all together into a nice catchy title. . . .

Him and Pooh are in the back corner of the UK. By the Kidcot stop. I don't think too many people know they are back there. There was no line. That's why we went in! After they were all done with the boys pictures Tigger put his arm out for me to grab on and we walked outside a bit and he stopped and kissed my hand and bounced back inside. They kids laughed forever about that one!!

So, I'm feeling like a bad daughter today. My mom and I were talking about the next trip to WDW in 2011. I'm itching to start planning it already and I needed her to make a decision on if she was bringing the nephew & nieces. She told me that if she was going to bring them, she'd probably have to bring my dad. This made me go 'ugh' (thus the bad daughter moment). I don't want him to come.

Ever since he had his stroke 6 years ago, he's become progressively meaner and meaner. I know this is because he's frustrated with his situation. However, it makes it really hard to be around him sometimes. My mother is a saint for putting up with all she has to put up with at times, I tell you.

On any other family vacation, I could deal with it. However, I don't want him to harsh on the Disney fun with his curmudgeonly ways. I can't imagine he'd have a good time.

My mom mentioned the trip to him and he was in one of his 'moods'. He told her he was angry at me (for what I have no idea) and that he wouldn't go on the trip. So she made him sign a piece of paper saying he didn't want to go. This is something she's had to do lately to prove to him that he's said certain things. He forgets and then claims she lied to him. So she shows him the paper as proof.

Is it truly horrible of me to be happy about this? I feel like it is.

I guess I'll just keep sitting here in my chair at work and pretend flogging myself for my transgressions.

Going to go and motivate myself to get dolled up. I am taking the T downtown to meet Bob for light up night I'll try to remember to take pictures!

I'm sorry you are going through this Tas. Families can be tough at times.

It's ok to feel that way because, he's not the dad you used to have. I am sure that you miss HIM, the way he was before. While there is nothing you can do to bring him back, you just have to love him and care for him the way he is now out of respect for the man he used to be, but nothing says you have to LIKE the way he is now. KWIM? So don't feel guilty.

Light up night was OK. I don't think we'll be going back any time soon though. It had a few cool things to see, more if we had kids. But Bob doesn't really enjoy crowds... like, AT ALL. He freaks out when we go grocery shopping on Sundays. You know? And the crowds were exactly like the crowds that Jo posted from Christmas at Disney.

Everywhere we wanted to go for dinner was 'sold out' of food. It was really crazy.

We didn't even stay for the fireworks because we wanted to be able to get on a T to come home. So we left just as they started - to try to beat the crowds.

I'll try to post some of the VERY few pictures I got between the crowds and the crappy pics my camera takes in the dark. I am thinking of investing in Shelly's camera. Your camera takes awesome pics at night!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am finally starting to think about Christmas shopping. I am in the middle of making my mom a calendar on shutterfly. It's turning out pretty neat!

Well off to the hospital to visit sis again.... Did i tell you guys... not sure... well my lil sis is in the hospital again they diagnosed her with swine flu and pneumonia.... which is the worst combination to have. they have her in ICU and medicating her and such. We can't go in the room unless we have the mask things on since her immune system is so low right now..... i have faith in God that she will be ok. My mother well she is a basket case about it right now.... but will check in later to see what you guys thought about my pics....
