The schedule on the Disneyland.com web site looks incomplete. They are also missing the Christmas parade times, Swing Dancing & Tomorrowland Terrace show times are missing too. I firmly expect F! to be presented this holiday because of the dragon fiasco of this past summer. Check back to the site in a few days. :)

Boooooooooo. I just saw the updated schedule for Disneyland for the dates that we are going to be there. There is no Fantasmic on the schedule :( We were really wanting to see the new, updated version at DL.

Sea, do you know what is going on with that? Is Fantasmic just dark during the month of December or does it have something to do with Candlelight Procession being that particular weekend? Either way, color me bummed :(

Jo - I hope Belle is feeling better soon!

NC - Our ports: Grand Cayman, Roaton, Honduras, Cozumel, Mexico, Princess Cays. 7 days!

Wow!!!! You'll be sailing the high seas in no time!!!! What islands are you going to?

Oh I thought I saw the Christmas parade times. In fact, I know I did because I jotted them down for my mom!

I hope you are right. I really would like to see Fantasmic. I guess I'll go ahead and stick to the plan to call next week to make those dessert rezzies and see what they tell me when I call in.

Hi Mayers!!! :wave2: :snooty:

Sorry it's been a while. Life has a way of getting away from me sometimes. I can't believe we're on the sixth thread of this. :)

A little birdie reminded me that someone has a vacation coming up soon ;) Yay Shelly!!!

I'm no where near caught up on anything. Hope everyone's doing well.

I hope all the little MAYers are feeling better this morning! :goodvibes

Shelly - Only 8 more days!!!!

Trix - How's the party planning going?

Sea - Did you plan any excursions on your cruise?

Morning!
Yay Shelly= 8 days!
:banana::woohoo::banana::woohoo::banana::woohoo::banana::woohoo:

Yay Sea! 14 days!
:sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail::sail:

Thanks for all the good thoughts for Belle. She is 14 hours post-puke.:rotfl: She just got finished drinking some coke and having some crackers- so we'll see how she holds that down.
The other Homeroom mom is coming by to pick up the cupcakes for the party--- Belle told me she doesn't want to go.:guilty: I know she's been sick when she says that. She's like her Mama-- never met a party she didn't like.:lmao:

So- bad news this morning for myself--- can't go to wdw the first week of May for sure now. Drew has his final Spring concert on May 6th.

I'm going to see if I can talk Mark into letting me take the kids in June and then drive on to SC. He is always scared for me to do soemthing like that--- very protective, LOL.
I do admit it's much easier when he's travelling with me-- I don't lug suitcases, know what time the plane leaves, drive, iron my clothes or do the coffee run.:lmao: And we all know just how important that coffee run is. hahahahaha.

One year ago today was the last day of our 10 day vacation, and today was the day we were approached by Norman at Epcot and given the VIP experience.:sad1: It seems like 5 years ago.

Okay- off to shower.

Be back soon.

Jo

Morning MAYers!

8 DAYS!!! :cool1:

Just took DS into school. He seems fine. No fever. No stomach ache. I would have kept him home all day but he had no interest. I told him this morning that he should stay in bed and rest some more and maybe I would take him to school later. So I put DS10 on the bus, came back upstairs to lay down (I was up most of the night checking on DS), keep in mind it's still dark out. And I feel someone looking at me. I open my eyes and DS8 is standing there saying - can I go to school now? :sad2: The bus had just left like 15 minutes ago. I said - no honey you need to go lay back down and get some more rest. To which he replied - I can't, I'm not tired! Okay, so back up I got and took a shower. Taking his temp every 15 minutes. I told him he had to be able to keep his breakfast down, and he did. So I took him in. Good grief. :upsidedow

Hey Sulley!! :yay: PM me your schedule when you get a chance and we'll see if we can meet up!

Hi everyone..

Crazy day here too. Both kids feeling good, so I am happy about that.

Between their class projects, homework, costumes for the school parade, treats for their friends, lunch bags, hotdog order money and forms... I don't think I could have possibly fit another thing in their back packs this morning. Poor Emmy could hardly lift hers.

So now that Jason and I have offiiclaly cancelled March at WDW...I need to pick another time...start planning and just do it. I need to stop letting his family change their plans and not make plans.

So we are going to plan to do our own thing without the rest of them....
So Shelly...can't wait to hear how you love November.. as I may be interested in doing that next year.

No matter when we go it will be fun to plan it.

I hear ya about all the stuff in the backpacks this morning. And everything that is going on! :faint:

I will be glad to be your November scout! :thumbsup2 I'm already doing it for Trixie, so what the heck!! :rotfl:

I hope it is the best trip ever and we can plan to go next November and all of you can plan for it too and we can have one HUGE MAYer Meet!! :snooty::grouphug:

I just posted the weather forecast in my PTR and it looks perfect! :wizard:

Happy Friday Mayers!

NC - We only have plans to visit the pyramids in Cozumel. We are just trying to relax this time around. I don't want to do much of anything other than relax, read, and spend time with my wife, boys and family.

Jo - You are a cool mom - "coke and crackers" for your sick kiddo. :rotfl:

Shelly - The days are flying by fast now. How is the packing going?

Lake - Sorry to hear about March being canceled. Hopefully you will find a new date soon!

Got our tickets for "The Princess and the Frog" movie yesterday. Going to see it on the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank in the theater that Walt built to show Fantasia. Definitely looking forward to this!

Jo - I know you can take the kids and do the trip alone!!! MCat is big enough to haul luggage, Drew too!!! I haven't done WDW totally alone, but I did do a day and half which was departing. If I can do it, you can too!!!

Your one year ago today just made me sad. :sad1:

Poor Emmy could hardly lift hers.

When Chloe was younger, she once fell over in the pick-up line at school due to the weight of her back pack. Just imagine, she fell backwards, the teacher said her little legs flew straight up in the air. Then she couldn't get back up. She was trapped by her backpack. Her teacher had to help her get out of it and wouldn't let her put it back on and carried it to the car for her that day.

:lmao:

Sea that sounds so nice!!!! Can I go? I need a vacation. :rotfl:

Hi guys!

Glad to hear the sick Mayer kiddles are coming around...

Sea, yikes about your glass table! Your cruise is right around the corner, sounds like so much fun! Can't wait to see your pics...when does Princess and the Frog premiere?

Shelly...almost there!!! :banana::banana::banana:

RF... Some guys have a hard time telling you what they need, especially if they are worried about their job and money. Just love him, ask him what you can do -- he might want some pampering, he might need some space. You guys will get through this.

Jo, I agree -- you and the kids would have a great time! It's great when your kids are big enough to be pack mules  My oldest two are 6' 2" and 6' 5", and I think my youngest has hit at least 6'. They can kill spiders on the ceiling and everything! :rotfl2:

Tas...hoping F! is up and running when you are there...it's really great! But when I went in September, SM and HM were both down for holiday overlays, and we missed them but still had a blast...

Sulley! Good to see you!!!

Lake, I wish I was planning a trip, too...hope you pick the perfect time :goodvibes

Ooops, break is over...back to the grindstone...

Emmy and I already have our date set up for that one too. We are taking her best friend from her old school and her mom along with us. She's counting the days.

Although I can guarantee our theatre won't be so exciting and full of such history.

Happy Halloween!

The girls went to school today, we had the party and we had a great time. But to be honest, I'm glad the stress is over!!!

I thought I'd share some of our jack-o-lanterns with my MAYers...

Have a great day everyone! Trick or Treating today and tonight, the off to Frankenmuth for Sunday and Monday (I'll still go in the spring Shelly and Lake, I just can't wait that long!!!), and Chicago on Tuesday. The girls have Monday and Tuesday off. As if they haven't had enough time off lately. At least they can do their makeup work in the car! :rolleyes1

That is awesome Lake, I am sure your daughter will love it! The music from the movie is awesome. We heard one of the songs at D23 and it was phenomenal.

Here is the low down on the movie and stuff we will be seeing and doing:

“We’re welcoming families to our Studio to see where Walt Disney made real movie magic,” said Dick Cook, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios. “Our Studio is not open to the public, so it’s an unprecedented opportunity for Disney fans to experience a movie right here on the Disney lot where we’ve filmed Disney classics like ‘Mary Poppins,’ ‘Princess Diaries,’ ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and many more. In fact, Walt built the original theater on the Studio lot back in 1940; it opened just in time for special audiences to view his ‘Fantasia.’ With a newly renovated, state-of-the-art theater, the Studio will open its gates once again, inviting audiences to not only see our newest animated musical, but to take part in a one-of-a-kind experience after the movie.

Themed to the film’s setting, New Orleans, The Ultimate Disney Experience will feature something for the whole family.

* PRINCESS POWER – All nine of the Disney princesses will come together for the first time ever, welcoming Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Pocahontas, Jasmine, Mulan and of course, Disney’s newest princess, Tiana.

* FUN ‘N GAMES — The Experience will feature opportunities to swing on ropes, climb trees, play games and race through the Bayou Adventure, plus a New Orleans’s Bead Toss, Naveen’s Leap Frog, video games and more.

* HOLLYWOOD HEIRLOOMS — Disney movie archives will be on display for the first time ever, including props and costumes from a variety of films like “Mary Poppins,” the “Pirates of the Caribbean” trilogy and more.

* MOVIE MAGIC – Guests can learn movie magic from real Disney animators who will be on hand teaching guests how to draw a character from the film.

* PICTURE THIS – Guests can put themselves in the movie at Kodak photo locations. Kodak photographers will capture guests’ images and place them in a scene from the movie.

* INSIDER’S GLIMPSE — Burbank guests will also have the rare opportunity to tour the Studio lot.

I will be sure to take lots of pictures for you guys!
