Morning!

Whelp- 'round here, there's lil' punkins waiting to be carved....... and I'm still in my robe.

Mark and I just had a very long winded conversation over coffee so we are getting a really late start to the day.

I need to ask my MAYers for some prayers for us---
I'm not going to go into detail- and it's nothing bad- it could be a very positive thing, but has it's negative drawbacks as well- but could y'all please add us to your prayer list?
Please pray for us to have clarity and wisdom in a decision that we may make. It's not something that we have to decicde- we don't HAVE to do anything if we don't want to. But for our future and Mark's career- if you could spare us a little prayer, I'd appreciate it so very much.

It may be a while- but I will let you all know later when (and if!!) things start rolling. Thanks so much y'all----


Now- off to grab pumpkins, a knife and some gloves.... I'm allergic to pumpkin------ betcha' didn't know that about Jo.

I hope everyone is having a great Halloween. We took Eliska trick-or-treating today for the first time along a popular avenue here in Seattle. The merchants on that street hand out candy, coupons for free cupcakes, etc. to the trick-or-treaters. I forgot how much fun that could all be. It's been YEARS since I've actually gone out like that.

I'll post a picture of Eliska a little later attempt to enjoy the packaging for some Skittles. She seemed far more interested in the packaging than the goodies inside.

Yay Shelly!!!! I don't know how you guys will get thru this week!!!

Thanks for all the MAYer prayes and thoughts. While we don't have to make a decision in this circumstance, it sure would be nice if I had a crystal ball lying around.




So the kids went out ToT'ing.......... and came home with 17 POUNDS OF CANDY.

I weighed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And with us living in an area where there are so many vendors around that supply Wal Mart---- they came back with a ton of full size candy bars.


Yeah, Momma needs to hit the treadmill.

Drew was Tebow of course, and Belle was Tinkerbell once again. Sadly, she can now no longer fit into the costume, so I'm going to be selling it or something soon.


Now for gloating 'bout my Gators........
Tebow broke Herschel Walker's record yesterday for rushing TD's. The record now stands at 51.

The Gators dominated the Poodles, I mean, the Bulldogs---- it was a great game to see.

Hi Mayers! It's been a while. All the drama with my DS and school has died down thankfully. Just needed his mama in the principal's office speaking her mind! I posted the full report of the happenings on my PTR if anyone is bored.

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! My kids had a blast and my pants are already getting tighter from eating all the candy.

Shelly- congrats on being so close!!!!
Sea- sorry about the table- what a mess!, your itinerary = ,
Jo- one of my day care kid's mom is allergic to pumpkins too and I thought it was the strangest thing when she told me. Good to know there's 2 of you out there! Hope your family is all better and rid of those germs soon I'm keeping you in my prayers for clarity and perhaps a magic crystal ball to show up on your doorstep.
Trixie- glad to hear your girls are feeling better! Those pumpkins were gorgeous! Did I spy a little Michael Phelps in there I'm more of a Harry Potter kind of girl myself.
RF- hugs to you and your DH. Keep those lines of communication open and encourage DH to open up. I'm like your DH- bottle it up and explode. It's taken me 8 years of marriage to figure out that method doesn't work.
Katiebell- thanks for reminding me that this too shall pass- I found myself saying that lots to myself over the past few days

Morning MAYers!

I just love getting up when it's not dark out!! Of course this will only last for a month or 2 and then it will be dark at 6:30am again. But hey, I will enjoy it while it lasts!!

5 DAYS!!!! Can you believe it??!!

How was the weekend?

DS was fine Saturday. We took the kids trick or treating Saturday night for about an hour and then went to the neighbors for pizza. Came home and he didn't look so well. Took his temp and sure enough he had a fever. So fever on Thursday, no fever on Friday, fever on Saturday, and no fever on Sunday. What's up with that??? He coughed some through the night but other than that he feels pretty good so he went to school. I may call the doctor later this morning just to see what they think. . .

DS10 had his last soccer game yesterday. They finally won a game!! They hadn't won for about 4 weeks. DS played great, they all did! But boy was it COLD. I can't wait to be warm!!!

I will post pics of the kids in their costumes in my PTR later.

I'm off to read your PTR Kim and see what happened at the school. . .

The sun is soooo sooo shiny this morning! And warm----- the kids wore shorts yesterday outside to play! It will be nice all this week- no rain.



Lake------ yay for watching Tebow! We just love him. When he made the TD where he surpassed Herschel's record-- we all jumped up and yelled and screamed and hugged.


Shelly-- hope your son is feeling okay now and is better the rest of the week.
Before you know it- you'll be riding RnRC!


Monny-- I have to read your report!! Hope all is well now.
Yep- I'm allergic to almost everything under the sun. When we gut pumpkins, I have to suit up in gloves b/c I break out in a rash wherever it touches my skin. And I've never had pumpkin pie---- I did get a little bit on my upper arm on Saturday and immediately started itching. A little cortizone and I was okay.

Hello Mayers!

Another beautiful day in SoCal! The weather is suppose to be warm all week! 79 is going to be the high in Santa Monica. Love it!!!

Shelly - Woo Hoo! 5 more days! What a blast!

Jo - Yes, that was Saturday. We took Cornelia with us to see the Halloween stuff at the park. The crowds were manageable...until they shut down DCA for the Mickey's Trick or Treat party and then they all came over into DL.
