Sea, I hope the only mudslide you have is the kind you serve up in a cold glass.

The farmer doesn't grow much in the way of people food. He grows feed corn for the animals. He does let us pick apples from his apple trees and he lets my kids dig in his garden for potatoes every year.

Go get your flu shot ASAP. My parents just returned from a cruise to Bermuda and my Dad is sick now. My mom works for a hospital so she had her shot before they left. She's fine.

Hey guys. I had a great 'bonus' day off. My sister spent the night at my house last night and my friend Rachel dropped over this morning - so we decided to go out to lunch and to see a movie. We went to the Olive Garden and went to the dollar theater to see 'The Ugly Truth' it was cute - but I was glad that I only spent a buck.

So, I am dreading work in the morning - but whatever. It will bea short week now.

I am annoyed - I didn't get my Celebrations yet.... When did you get your Shelly? I know that you ordered yours a few days before me, but I am just always nervous that people took my money and aren't going to send my stuff....

I'm paranoid like that...

Jo - oh i hope you don't get sick again... i know how miserable it is to be sick....

RF - don't worry the week will go by fast.....

so my adventure of the day.... so this morning i'm on my way to school and my car decided to act up.... i felt it start to like sputter.. i have an 01 Honda Accord.... so i pull over and my frantically reach for my cell phone... i get very nervous when stuff like that happens.... so i call him all hysterical.... he tells me to calm down and he will be by me in about 20 min. so he gets there turns out Marilyn forgot to take the car for an oil change about 2k miles ago.... i know i know bad marilyn..... so my DH basically scolds me as if i were Marissa.... so anyways spark plugs changed, wires changed, distributor cap changed and some other whatsit changed my car is back to normal... i swear i felt like my DH was going to take a dunce cap out of his pocket and put me in the corner..... hey i told him lesson learned.....

So how was everybody else's day.... oh yeah needless to say i missed class.....

Morning.

A weekend of food, family and renovations.
Walls, electrical and drywall all finshed this weekend. Now onto the messy part... mudding and sanding. I have some furniture to move and cover this week, so we can get at it again next weekend. Which isn't that far away considering we just had a long weekend.

The weather is on the chilly side, but I am hoping the sun at least stays out. Lots to do this week.

Taking Ethan to school and then Em and I are headed to Lowe's to see about matching the existing paint.. since the previous owners didn't leave us any, and then to the lighting store, I may have found the lamps I want for my living roon...FINALLY!

I remember those Tuesday's at the bank after a Monday holiday RF. It wasn't hardly worth having the Monday off! Glad you had a nice time with your sister and your friend though. Hmm. . . I think I got my magazine about the middle of last week. . . Go to their website and hit the 'contact us' link. That's what I did when mine didn't come when I thought it should. They emailed me right back to say it was coming in October.

Hi guys! Back at work.... It's not as terrible as a day after a holiday usually is - but I am feeling very blah.

I don't know what's wrong with me. I am just feeling very... depressed. Nothing really happened. I just feel kinda down.Feeling very 'woe is me' for no real reason.... I wonder if it's the weather.

I need a pick me up.

Shelly - how's packing and getting ready for WDW coming?

I completely understand. I've been having that feeling on and off the last week or so. I definitely do think it has something to do with the change in the weather. It's doom and gloom time for the sky!

for RF, Jo, Shelly, and anyone else who is feeling blah, icky, crappy, crummy, witchy, etc...can I just say: I am all of the above?

It's storming here, cold and very wet, my feet got wet on the way in to work and my socks are cold and damp and it feels yucky Left for work 10 minutes early due to the weather, the freeway was insane and still had to park far, far away from the building and was 4 minutes late.

I have Friday off, going to run errands for my mama and help her with her banking etc in the morning, then going up to Lake Tahoe in the afternoon for a concert and staying overnight, so at least I have that to look forward to.

I did NOT want to get out of bed this morning. My kitty is back to her ususal self (cranky and nasty, but not sick anymore), but she was sweet and purry this morning. She walked all over my back and kneaded me with her paws and I wanted to lay in bed all morning and be walked on by my silly cat.

My house is a mess, I am missing several key ingredients for my emergency back up dinners, and do NOT want to stop at the store on the way home because the weather is so horrid. I will have to get creative tonight, throw together whatever I can, and dinner may be very interesting...

We saw a special on our public tv station about Star Wars in Concert a while back and recorded it. DS watches it and dances around my living room to it. It's one of those *making of* things though so he gets bored with the commentary parts. It was really neat how they came up with the idea and incorporated the memorabilia too. Maybe it's the weather but it's a Tuesday and I'm enjoying a wine cooler as if it's Friday It's been a long couple of weeks and I'm sick of wiping snot. At least I don't have it. It's so much harder to take care of others when your sick too.

My exciting news for the week- DD is on day 2 of wearing big girl underwear!!! Only 1 accident in both days!!!!! I'll be so happy not to have to buy diapers anymore! It will be nice not to have to lug them around Disney in the backpack!

But, ultimately it came down to what was really making me unhappy. So, I went back to WW tonight! I finally joined. It's going to be hard getting started, but I am looking forward to it. (ish) I know that as soon as I start to lose a little weight I will feel better. I need to get myself into better shape and I have the time to focus on myself now. I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes. I am going to need some support.

Silly girl! Been waiting for your next installment...thought you just got busy...don't get discouraged about low TR audience, only a handful of people read mine, but it's fun to relive the vacation, and it's fun to chat with friends when they pop in

We just went to Star Wars in Concert last Friday -- got the tix as a gift from a friend who works at the venue. It was great! But you know, I'm totally a Star Wars Geek Girl This Friday, we are supposed to go see Alice Cooper's Halloween show in Lake Tahoe...so you never know what to expect with me
