These are NOT the rooms that I paid for! 3 Resorts in 10 days - Trivia Answers 9/3

Living in Utah, we are in Disneyland more often than WDW, but I have never taken the "Walk in Walt's Footsteps" tour. It is on my must-do list now!! What a fun day!

Thanks for the review! I grew up in the east, and WDW will always be my "home" resort, but Disneyland has won a special place in my heart. I love the MK there...more so than WDW's. It has that extra special magic that comes from Walt himself. I can't define it, but I can feel it when I'm there. :lovestruc

Oh yummy yummy kona breakfast! I'm definitely a tonga toast girl. I wish I could say I would try the pancakes, but I just like the tonga toast way too much!
I really like the celebrate you parade song too. I don't have a particularly happy memory associated, just the song is happy and catchy! :D
I love Philharmagic too. Although I really don't love the cattle herding, personal-space-what? queue area. Give me a roped off line to follow in an orderly fashion any day!

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I think Tonga Toast has its own fan club somewhere! I've only had a few bites of the stuff but Em gets it every trip so it must be worth all the hype!

Ha, cattle herding. You mean you don't like people crowding into your space and breathing down your neck kinda pre-show gathering? I wouldn't know why. :crowded: Then I'm sure you don't like the Voyage of the Little Mermaid "queu" at DHS! ;)

Another fan on Tonga Toast here, although I have heard on multiple occasions that those pancakes are fabulous.

What a great way to start the morning. Love that view of the GF. Let's face it, any view from BLT/contemporary is just fabulous!

Looks like the start of a great day. :thumbsup2

Yes, those pancakes are fabulous - you can quote me on that one! :)

I recall you had quite a fantastic view during your trip with Cynthia at BW last year!

It looks like a beautiful day at MK! Also, love the idea with the butter and pineapple on the side at Kona. Those pancakes look tempting, but I know I wouldn't like the nuts in them.

I finally figured out that I prefer the non-nut filled pancake version. I just ask for regular pancakes and add the toppings. There's just too many nuts with the regular macadamia nut pancakes on the menu.

What a view. How did you go home after that?

Amazing breakfast order! I saw those on the menu while researching & thought that it may be too much. Now I know the secret! Though I realllllyy want to try the tonga toast.

I love that parade. It's too fun. The philharmagic is one of my favorites. I'm such a sap, I tear up every time.

I didn't know wishing well in disneyland sang! I'm gonna have to check that out in August.

Hi Jennifer! Too bad Disneyland doesn't have Tonga Toast... although Rainforest Café at DTD (Anaheim) has a version of it but it's not the same.

Yes, when you throw a coin in the well you hear Snow White sing. I hope you enjoy your time in CA visiting DLR!

Those views are just to die for! I can't even imagine waking up to that. I might be even more jealous of this upgrade than I am of your previous one. :goodvibes

Breakfast looks so yummy! I'm dying to try Kona Cafe too, but its hard for me to convince DSis to eat anywhere that sounds too exotic for her pizza-pasta taste buds :rotfl:

Thanks Emily! It is a pretty nice view. I love seeing the monorail and the ferryboat on the lagoon. It's so perfect!

I can assure you that Kona Café has some pretty standard breakfast fare. If your DSis likes fruit cups, they have them. Eggs & bacon - yep, have them. Steaks and eggs - check. They even have blueberry pancakes. :) Good luck convincing and if that doesn't work, bribe her.

What a great start to your day! I love the view of the GF and the castle. :goodvibes I have never been to Kona Café but it sounds really good. Maybe some day I'll get there-it should be a must do considering how much I love the Polynesian!

It is weird how some of the CMs are so serious about patrolling the parades. I remember the first time we went to MNSSHP there was this crazy CM yelling at people right before the Headless Horseman went by. We had never seen a cast member like that before. But anyway, I agree, the Move it Shake it Celebrate it parade is a lot of fun! Oh, and I love "Celebrate You" too!

Definitely a must do for that breakfast !! :thumbsup2

Uhhh.... wow! Crazy yelling CM, that rather spoils the mood. Unless he just happened to save someone from being trampled. (True story, I was run over by a horse at 13 and have a nasty scar to show for it so I fully support getting out of the way but in a calm nice manner!! :))

Love all the updates! Your view at BLT makes me want to stay there next time we come to DW. BTW I have a new TR that I started up. :) It's the link in my siggy. And I loved Em's Ariel shirt! I've never eaten at Kona but it seems like it was really good!

Well, thanks! I saw your TR and joined. I saw your FB updates while you were there so I'm looking forward to reading all about it. :goodvibes Thanks for sharing that.

Thanks Em loves the shirt as well. It's that nice soft cotton material.

Haha, I like a woman who knows what she wants. :thumbsup2

Hmm a friendship boat fast pass would make a lovely souvenir though. :scratchin

Awww no Christopher Weaver to hit on you? That's no good. :lmao:

Outside of Boo to You, Move It Shake It is BY FAR my favorite parade. It's so interactive, colourful, and fun.

Yes, that's me - very decisive. Except for trying to decide if I want to stay at AKL or YC or BLT... I couldn't decide and you know how that ended!

Speaking of friendship boats.. or related... or not... your last TR update you took the ferry boat and I have NEVER been on the ferry so my goal in August is to ride it at least once.

Ha! Noooooo No Mayor Christopher Weaver to smooch me. Although my experience is tame compared to Kate's at the haunt night event. :scared1: Mayor Weaver is probably a very tame old guy.... I just have to say I don't like it because my hubby wonders what goes on with these girl trips when I have photos of the Mayor covering my face with kisses.

So are you saying that you get in the street and dance with the Move It Shake It Celebrate It parade?? I can totally see you doing the twist while wearing your No Dancing Tee shirt! :3dglasses

Kona breakfast always looks so yummy! I need to try it out one of these days!

That must have been such an awesome moment for yall to be Grand Marshals! Such awesome memories. I agree, that parade is so much fun!

PhilharMagic is such a classic. Sounds like a pretty perfect morning so far!

Hi Marissa! Yes, you NEED to try Kona Café some day. Ohh so good. :)

I have to say that a side effect of being selected to be Grand Marshals for our first girl trip has made me poor! It created so much magic that we had to return and return again and again... Darn Disney!

Em loves the attraction so much (her favorite) that she wants the Philharmagic Magical Ribbon bow with Donald's tushy on the clip! Such a great nod to a fantastic attraction!! :thumbsup2

I've yet to have breakfast at Kona. I really really need to rectify that one I'd these days as it always sounds so good!!!!

And now....I'm wishing is stick in my head. Lol!

Hi Cynthia! And I noticed that of all your ADRs for December/January no Kona!! :rotfl2: Maybe the next trip. I think your boys would really like it.

Ha! The power of suggestion ... now I'm hearing the echo of the song in my head as well.

Side note: I love your organization and planning skills! What a fabulous job to plan for so many people and everything that you are doing to make it an awesome trip! I hope you get 15 hugs for all that you've done!

OMG. I have to put Kona on my list. That's it. I keep forgetting about your signature breakfast!!! I have to try it. I just HAVE TO!!!! :lovestruc What if I promise to SPLIT a stack with you… would you move your dates up???

You have not, because you ask not, right?

Sweet Story about the PhilharMagic… I had only been dating DH about 7 months or so, and my two bestiest friends went to Disney for a Girl's Trip. We went into this show to take a break from the heat and while we were standing there I got to hear Minnie say "I love the show ALMOST as much as I love the conductor!" Which made us all squeal because my boyfriend was in college to BE a music conductor! So, I bought him a cute ornament with conductor Mickey. Turns out… while I was on this trip, he had put my engagement ring on layaway.

Hi Christen!!! You keep tempting me and I may surprise you in March! I'm at the mercy of Em's school schedule this year since she has opted to return to a traditional program next year.

Thank you for sharing that sweet story! It was so perfect!

Yummy, Tonga Toast (we did not eat at Kona when we stayed at the Poly but had from Captain Cooks). It is by far my favourite food in Disney but the Pancakes with Pineapple look pretty delish as well (no macadamia nuts for this girl though allergies.

Agree, those guards are pretty intense. We did not get a chance to see this parade, looked like fun!

PS That view is something else! :cloud9: Lucky Gals!

I've heard of Captain Cook's tonga toast. Sounds like a great alternative. Oh no, they can do the pancakes without nuts. Wouldn't want to create any medical emergencies for you!

Thanks that view was worth every penny we didn't pay!! :p

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmm!!! Kona!!!

Those macadamia pineapple pancakes are my absolute FAVORITE thing to eat at Disney. Yum! Yum! Yum! Although I like them just the way they are!

Fortunately, the boys like Tonga Toast, so we have a date to eat there in a couple of weeks.

That is a great entrance photo at MK- you have to squint really hard to find another person, and you could actually crop him right out.

I'm glad you enjoyed the parade while Em visited some spirits.

That's neat that the DL fountain sings.

Ok Dee, you're in my pancake fan club for sure ! You have great taste!

ha! I didn't even notice the absence of people in the photo. Someone's shadow made their way into our photo. I should have told them to move a little to the left!

For some reason I thought you were back at WDW this week, oops I'm off by a week or two. In any event, I know the anticipation of returning so soon must be awesome!

You're making me really regret that we don't have any breakfasts planned at Kona. Also, it was cool hearing your story behind the "Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It!" song, and I had no idea that Snow White's Wishing Well actually sings in DL!

As for PhilharMagic, I love the show, since it's got Donald and my four favorite Disney movies (TLK, Aladdin, TLM, and BatB)! One thing - it would be nice if they could develop an alternate 'happy ending' for Donald. He always gets stuck with all the bad luck. :lmao:

Hi Mr. DDW! I'm going to take a wild guess and say that I believe you may be back at WDW a few more times before your AP expires?? If so, you'll have other opportunities to get your little Donald dole whip self to Kona Café!

Yes, the wishing well breaks out in song! Throw a coin in there and you'll see for yourself.

Your poor Donald! If they are going to develop an alternative they should put him in time out for messing with the magic and then they can have his happy ending!! Ok, maybe not.

I hope you are ENJOYING your time in WDW! I look forward to your live updates!

Great Kona update and Mk morning update!

I am sooo excited for our Kona breakfast in December (at least I think its on the schedule). I always schedule it but it never happens. I am so getting the tonga toast and pressed pot!

Hi Rachel!! Yes, Kona is already booked and you are included!! I doubt we'll do much talking since we'll be mmmm mmmm-ing from the delicious food. I'm not a coffee drinker but I would like to start my day with a Mimosa!

Brenda, count me in as another fan of Kona's Macadamia Nut Pancakes. Since my first taste in May of 2009 I've had to get my "fix" on each WDW trip. Like you, I would prefer to have someone to split my order with since I can't finish the serving either. But DH prefers his ham and cheese omelette so we just leave food on the plate. It's still such a bargain for a filling, crave satisfying TS late breakfast :thumbsup2 As to Emmy's choice, I know it is extremely popular but merely the look of it repels me and I am a fan of many types of more traditional french toast.

Hi Kathy! Another person for my pancake fan club! I agree, for me, the Tonga Toast is just too much. What's so funny is that I don't really eat pancakes. I tried the Big Kahuna in 2010 and loved the pancakes so much that I've not ordered anything else since!! See, we have a lot in common!

I love love the room view! I can not wait until January to enjoy it! The same of for our first Kona Breakfast! That is so neat that in DL the well sings, but like you said at least the coins go to contents charities. :goodvibes:

Sarah, you are another BLT lover! Even better you are DVC! :thumbsup2

I agree, Disney is very charity minded.

I love your room view. :goodvibes

Thanks Wii!! :)

Oh YUMMY, that breakfast looks amazing! I want to try Tonga Toast, I have heard so much about it, but I really think I would enjoy the pancakes more.

Your resort view is AMAZING! Love it!!!

Magic kingdom looked beautiful and not too crowded, I hope that was true, the pics show you ladies looking lovely as always! :goodvibes

Hi Judy! I'm excited to see you dropping by. :) Too bad Kona doesn't have a sample plate that is 1/2 Tonga Toast and a short stack of the pancakes.

Welcome home!
Oooo - Em's tonga toast looks so good. What is the red sauce? We've never tried the pancakes because of Eveie's nut allergy.
Gorgeous shot in front of the camera!
I didn't know you could hear now white in Disneyland. Another reason to go!
:goodvibes

Thanks Alysa. That red sauce is the strawberry compote that you can pour over the TT. It may push blood sugar levels into the danger zone but people seem to like it! I think they should be able to make a non-nut version. They have their allergy protocol that includes preparation in a separate area of the kitchen.

Awww thanks! And yes, the well sings! A great touch.

Those views are amazing. That breakfast...yummy! We had diner there but never breakfast..another thing on my list ...now to decide on the tonga toast or pancakes lol if only all life decisions were this good.

Nice morning in MK so far :)

Hi Patti! We are actually trying dinner at Kona Café our next trip. I hope you enjoyed your dinner there. Ha! yes, if life's choices were this easy... :)

I am finally caught up and able to say hello. I just came across your tr a couple days ago and it has taken me this long to read all 80 pages. My dh is poking fun at me, as I have been reading it like a novel I just can't put down. We just returned from our latest trip to wdw last weekend and i am in serious withdrawal. Thanks for helping me transition back to regular life :)

Hi there! I'm so glad that you are here and reading and reading and reading ... all of this!! :goodvibes

You are so kind! Are you doing a TR? I hope you had an awesome trip!

:lovestruc

It really was fun and nostalgic in some ways to do that tour! You must try it some day. :)

Awww thanks! I'm the opposite, I am a DLR home town gal but WDW is special since it screams VACATION!! Plus I just love DHS and Epcot!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for reading!

Thurs. February 28, 2013: Day 6, Part 2

Time for a pop quiz boys and girls! What are the names of Merida’s three brothers? I will admit that I didn’t know… until I saw the adorable plushes they sell at the cart outside the Merida meet & greet. I’ll give you the answer since I don’t have a fabulous prize to give away….Hamish, Harris, and Hubert. That was fun, no?

DSC01436.jpg

DSC01437.jpg

DSC01438.jpg

It is fortuitous that the characters enter/exit by the restrooms because we couldn’t have timed our potty break any better!! While we were re-grouping and deciding where to head next we had close encounter of the furry kind. Tigger, The White Rabbit and Pooh walked right by us – and waved!! See the photo of a little boy holding out his hand for a “hi there slap” - so adorable.

DSC01440.jpg

DSC01441.jpg

Someone was either bored or sleepy…we’ll go with sleepy because you couldn't possibly be bored in Disneyworld.

DSC01442.jpg

Since we knew The White Rabbit would be hanging out with Alice we headed over to the short line that had formed. For some reason Alice and the White Rabbit decided that they would have pretend tea with Em. They did not invite me so I can’t say how it tasted. At least they let me pose in their photo!

And one of those awkward photos where you're not even looking at the camera!

DSC01449.jpg

From there it was time to ride one of my top 2 favorites in Tomorrowland….. remember what they were? Anyone? Yes, the People Mover. Gotta love a ride that give you views of the castle, Tomorrowland plaza and Space Mountain.

DSC01450.jpg

The ride had shut down briefly so the line was pretty long. At least they warned us that there were aliens on the lose! I didn't see a reward offered for his return so we pretty much ignored the warning.

DSC01453.jpg

I never seem to get good photos of the castle... but I do try!

DSC01493.jpg

After touring Tomorrowland on the Peoplemover we traversed the lands to check out new FL.

I love this sign:

As of late February, here's what progress for the new Snow White ride looked like

DSC01502.jpg

DSC01501.jpg

We had a lunch ADR at 1:30 at Liberty Tree Tavern. We still had some time so we checked out the Hall of Presidents. However, the next show didn’t start for another 15 minutes and that would put us too late for our lunch reservation. We skipped it for now. Hey, what happened to the faux Liberty Bell?? Where it stood was an empty space. This was the first trip that I not only noticed but read the little plaques for the original colonies. I’m hoping they represent the 13 colonies or is it just coincidence that there are 13 flags gathered all in a nice little circle?

I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Oh I actually did know Merida's brothers' names! She introduces them at the very beginning of the movie and for some odd reason it stuck with me. :rotfl:
Em's tea party is so adorable, I love Alice and her crew!
Ahhh PeopleMover. Every time someone writes about it I can just feel the smooth gliding train and the wind on my face. So wonderful! Love that ride!

Love Brave..those 3 little brothers so cute. So cute Em and the tea party :) she is a good sport

Hey Brenda! I am selfishly taking that NY shout out and shouting right back at you! ;)

Hi Wendy! I really don't pay attention because I've seen Merida twice and still didn't remember the brothers' names!

Thank you for the 4th of July greeting!! You are awesome!! :goodvibes

Love Brave..those 3 little brothers so cute. So cute Em and the tea party :) she is a good sport

I'm sad they no longer have the brothers at the Merida character spot at MK. They used to have them in a cart and they would interact. Last visit they were gone.

Ha! I was thinking, what if you didn't want to pretend to have a tea party?? :confused3 I suppose that could be awkward.

First, some comments on comments...

YES, you have to ride the ferry over to MK in August.
And of course I dance along with Move It Shake It ESPECIALLY when wearing the "No Dancing" shirt. :thumbsup2 :rolleyes1

And now back to our regularly scheduled comments...

Ahhh, you know Brenda, one of my absolute favorite things is the spontaneous sighting of characters arriving. It's so magical.
Haha, the little boy looks like he was left hanging in the photo. "Too Slow..."

Haha that tea party is adorable. I love how Em totally got into it. And yet she wouldn't do the pirate pose... ::laughing:

The awkward not looking at the camera pictures are my favorites.

Finally, I would like to wish you and ALL OF YOUR READERS, a very HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, with a very special shout out to your son serving overseas. :goodvibes

Thursday February 28, 2013: Day 6, Part 3

DSC01517.jpg

We checked in for our LTT ADR and when they asked where we were from I hesitated briefly before going with a bit of a manipulation of the truth. I knew they announced your party's name and where you are from when seated. I don't mind my real name being used but my real city, well, that's just going too far!!

Me thinks this is only a prop. I never see anyone cooking here! :lmao:

DSC01528.jpg

DSC01538.jpg

After a short wait, the Brenda family from Beverly Hills was seated in the Betsy Ross room. (And no, they didnt call me out on my liar, liar, pants on fire moment!) Aside from the fact that I love the early Americana theming, perhaps not so much the tights that the men wear, but they have CRAYONS at the table! Seriously, you can draw at the table. It eliminates that awkward chit chat that sometimes descends on the table when you don't really know what to say about your day.

DSC01540.jpg

Here's some artwork that Em created from our previous meal at LTT last August.

DSC04841.jpg

I am still bitter that they got rid of not only the fried cheese nuggets (cheese logs only now) but the tri-corner sandwich. Seeing as how I am one of the least adventuresome diners in WDW, I went with an old favorite. Em and I decided to split an order of the pot roast. I love their fries here and last time had a side order but seeing as how I was going to leave room for dessert I had to choose between the two and dessert won.

The pot roast was served with large chunks of veggies and the meat is fork-tender and oh so delicious. One of the best lunches in all of WDW in my opinion. I just wish there was more than 1 button mushroom on my plate.

DSC01545.jpg

Em on the job as a dining reviewer. (She did an update yesterday for her dining review.)
DSC01546.jpg

For dessert, I didn't make the same mistake as last time... I didn't order my favorite MK dessert, the ooey gooey toffee cake naked. I usually order it without ice-cream since I dont really care for that accompaniment but last time it had no chocolate drizzle or toffee crunches. It was more akin to a non-ooey, no gooey, no toffee cake. Thankfully, Em ordered her favorite dessert, the chocolate layer cake with fresh whip cream. Meaning, I didnt have to share my dessert. This time it was served in all its glory with ice-cream, chocolate sauce, and a generous sprinkling of toffee pieces. Heaven I tell you, absolute heaven is how I describe this! I rolled the ice-cream scoop to the side after it had melted a little over the warm cookie/cake base.

Last summer's naked version
DSC04855.jpg

And the way that it SHOULD be served!
DSC01547.jpg

Even better a little melty!
DSC01552.jpg

When Em's dessert arrived it was delivered with a light up Ariel!! Em was so happy since Ariel is her favorite Disney princess. It was the perfect garnish to her dessert. The moment of hilarity that ensued was completely lost in the translation of the video I took since I had no clue where she was going at first with the clapping.

DSC01550.jpg

DSC01564.jpg

Thoroughly satisfied with our lunch it was time for our flight with Peter Pan using our Fast Passes. It is unfortunate that the ride is so dangerous! They really need to post dire warnings since we discovered that if you sit down in the ship too quickly and tilt your head back you hit the hard fiberglass sail. Ouch! That was Em who learned that lesson! We survived pirates and crocodiles but that sail, watch out!

DSC01566.jpg

Bad photo but I almost captured her reaction.
DSC01572.jpg

We took some time to sashay through Fantasyland near the castle and take more photos. Even posing with my fake bird by the fountain. I was trying to pretend that I had one of Cinderellas birds on my finger. I only made it look like I was a crazy lady seeing things.

The parade was starting and you know what that means for us... ESCAPE before the crowds swell towards the exits. In reality, we are not parade haters we were just ready to head to the hotel and relax in the room before our dinner at Citricos.

Departure photo
DSC01622.jpg

I love the walk over to BLT from MK! The yellow monorail was stopped on the tracks the entire time we were walking. And the red monorail was stopped as well. They must have been holding for clearance for traffic or some other official monorail business. Makes me wonder what you do if you have a kid that needs to pee?? Ok, perhaps only I think of that.

Oh Rob! Thanks for your Holiday shout out and for wishing my son well! So sorry I missed your big holiday but if you will accept my belated Happy Canada Day greeting I'll feel better! :)

The ferry is on my must do list this time. I must say that we deliberately tried to ride it last trip but it was closed down at that particular time. I must not have come to that part of my TR yet.

I would have given the kid the hand slap he so desperately deserved but I'm sure it wouldn't have been as meaningful. :lmao: I don't think Tigger saw what the kid was trying to do but now I don't recall. :confused3

You're so right..... no cooperation with mom as a pirate but a character invites her to have tea and she's all in. What's up with that? :confused3

Lovely updates! I cannot WAIT for Kona in Sept!! I had the Tonga toast room service style on a solo trip but haven't actually been to the restaurant. Do you find the press style coffee any good? If you've had it that is haha.

I find that I am like you in the not so adventurous dining. I find a favorite and I tend to stick to it because I know it's good! I couldn't tell you how many times I've eaten the turkey sandwich at Cosmic Rays haha

Love the Move It Shake It! We were watching it and dancing along later that day!! We got to MK right as the 5:40 one started. SO CLOSE to running into you guys....okay...only kind of, but we did get out of a cab at the Contemp and run over! Lawl.

I think LTT is on my list of places to try next trip! It's something different and looks tasty!

Can't wait to read about dinner!

OOPS, look at me commenting in the middle of your updating. Shame on me!

But now I get to comment on comments again!!

I absolutely accept your belated Happy Canada Day greeting without any doubt. :)

Wow, how awesome that your update on the Fourth of July is Liberty Square, across from The Hall of President's, and dining at Liberty Tree Tavern. The planning and plotting of dates you must have done since the beginning of this report to have this update fall on this day. Really and truly impressive. :worship: :)

OK, so we all know we have smilies for laughter, etc, but honestly there is not a good enough one available to display my reaction to "the Brenda family from Beverly Hills".
That one seriously had me doubled over with laughter and no, I am not kidding.

Hahaha, that video was too cute. Also, I now want a light up Ariel. :yay:

Well, first off- Happy 4th, Brenda! :tink:

How fun that you got to meet the White Rabit? Does he generally meet with Alice or was that a special occasion?

I like your castle shot! I got so caught up in getting on the moving ride and settling in that I forget to take my camera out all together for that shot :confused3

I love LTT! I wish they still served family style, but I digress... :rolleyes1

How's the weather out there in...Beverly Hills? :lmao: That's pretty funny! Maybe I'll do that next time!

Your meal looks awful yummy! I love that Ariel clip that Em got on her plate- she's my favorite princess too!

Happy 4th of July! :cheer2:

I could have sworn I posted comments after reading your last few updates... but I guess I didn't.

Kona Cafe looks delicious for breakfast. I might have to consider adding this to our ADR list. :scratchin

I read your Grand Marshal story, how magical. What a special moment for you and Emmy. :goodvibes:goodvibes Drew (DH) never wants to watch any of the parades at WDW. I told him we have to watch some of the parades during our next trip to at least see if Jonah has some interest in watching one. Jonah is also my excuse to finally do some character greetings as well. :upsidedow

Haha, the "naked" ooey gooey toffee cake looks so sad and lonely. I am the same way with ice cream and dessert. I am just not a big fan of cakes and ice cream, but I kind of like how the ice cream run-off makes the cake a little moist. I don't know if that makes sense or not.

Looks like a really yummy lunch and I'm glad that your cake was no longer naked but fully clothed this year! :D Love your photoshoot by the fountain, I really love that fountain and could (and have) spend so much time photographing it from every angle!
Ouch, I hit my head on Peter Pan once too. They should include that warning for sure. Like no dancing signs, add it to those.

How cute! A tea party with alice & the white rabbit must have been super fun!

Ok, I think we need to try ltt for lunch...pot roast is my favorite!! Such cute photos of you guys. I love your skirt! Polka dots are the best.

I totally understand getting hurt on Peter Pan. I smacked my knee getting onto the boat in both disneyland & wdw. Those boats can really get you.
