huh? It's probably just me, but I can't quite figure out what you were referring to.

That should have said THROUGH an emotional ringer. Ya know when you are used to dealing with someone who presents with a certain kind of crazy? You get kind of used to it. When they take it to a new level of crazy and destruction- it's a little overwhelming. :scared:

ok, that makes sense. I'm sorry you've had a hard time lately.

Check out the F&W menus...................http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2292574 notice all the little purple DDP snack icons? Makes me wonder if the QSDP would be a good deal. Some of those snacks are over $4; more like $4.75 and $5. I know we'll be snacking like crazy during the F&W Festival. Off to do some math......................:dance3:

:rotfl2:

QS is def a good plan. I had no idea you were able to use DDP for F&W booths. I'd love to go to F&W, but my teaching schedule doesn't allow it. Although, I could go for a long weekend next fall :scratchin

Are you definitely going for F&W?

 Thanks. I slept 11 hours last night which is normally 2 nights worth of sleep. It felt good. Spent the morning outside, soaking up some last season sun. :cloud9:

::yes:: I have read October has the best weather and coupled with F&W makes it sound perfect. I hate for the kids to miss school but all 3 are very good students and catch up quickly.

You can use snack credits for a lot of foods but not booze. Some of the F&W treats are over $4 so that's a good use of credits. I salivate just looking at this year's menus. :woohoo: Now that DH and I got a true taste of WS, F&W is a must-do. :thumbsup2

:woohoo: :dance3: :banana:6 days until AZ/Vegas!!! :dance3: :woohoo:

:grouphug: 41 days until So Cal!!! :grouphug:

:dumbo: 45 days until DVC ressie!!! :dumbo:

:beach: 168 days until Mexico!!! :beach:

:hmghost: 200 days until ADRs!!! :hmghost:

:simba: 379 days until THV!!! :simba:

We have decided to leave for AZ on Friday now so the boys can see a Sun Devils' game on Saturday. The Cardinals have their bye week so no pro ball for them. ;)

I'm thinking of going for a long weekend when school is closed in September (for Rosh Hashanah) or October (Columbus Day). I'd love to go to MNSSHP. When does F&W usually begin? September or October?

Are you considering the DDP? I read today that the regular DDP price changes according to when you go in 2010, where the the QS and Dx plan prices stay the same all year. That's a huge change!

I believe early October is when F&W begins.

It is huge. They added seasonal surcharges due to time of year. DVC members will not be subject to the seasonal surcharges. :thumbsup2 But I am still not doing the DDP. If we were to get APs then TIW would be the way to go.

So true. TIW does look like a much better option than DDP.

If we got APs and could use the TIW card for 2 trips- we'd save a ton and it would be well worth the $75 the card cost. Even with an 11 night trip, our savings should be substantial. I always think we won't be back within the year but honestly, we might have made a trip this December had we got APs. The good thing about TIW is that it's good for the entire party up to 10 people so not everyone needs an AP. :surfweb:

We might be going to Disneyland!!!!! DH suggested, last night, since we have had a pretty rough summer and even rougher weekend, that we skip Vegas and do AZ for 4 nights and Disneyland for 3 nights. :faint: :wizard: I am totally dying right now. So the plan would be:

Friday: leave for AZ, stay the night in Mesquite.
Saturday: arrive in AZ by early afternoon.
Sun, Mon, Tuesday: AZ
Wednesday: leave AZ early, arrive in Disneyland by noonish. Disneyland is only open until 8 pm but I will take what I can get.
Wed, Thurs, Friday: Disneyland/DCA pixiedust:
Saturday: drive straight home, not stopping the night anywhere. :woohoo:

I called DVC Member Services to see if they had a Studio available at the GCV and they don't. They have a one bedroom for the first night and then a 2 bedroom for the last two nights. It would be over 100 points for 3 nights so no way to that. My friend gets discounts at all Marriotts and Hiltons so I called her. We can get the Anaheim Marriott, only 2 blocks from Disneyland, for $100 a night including taxes and parking. :thumbsup2 I reserved it. We still haven't decided 100% but didn't want to miss the friends and family discount. :woohoo:

Oh how awesome!!!!!

I can't wait to get out to Disneyland..

We are looking at going in 2011 :woohoo:

I haven't been to Disneyland since 2005 and miss it so much. :guilty:

I am totally dying. :woohoo: Park hours are okay. Thursday Disneyland is open until 8 pm, DCA 5 pm. Friday DL is open until 10 pm and DCA until 5 pm. But Friday DL is open until midnight and I am unsure about DCA. I'd like to be in the parks by 2 pm on Wednesday to make it worth the price of the hoppers. :wizard:

I checked with getawaytoday.com and I can get 3 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn, free full breakfast daily, 3 pins with lanyards, 3 string backpacks, free hotel parking, ART for 3 days unlimted, and 3 day park hoppers for all for $1087 including all taxes. :thumbsup2 I have until 10 pm to decide. I am freaking out!!!! :hyper: The rooms have fridges and microwaves and their beds are uber comfy. And their rooms were just renovated.

pixiedust: 9 days until Disneyland!!!!!! pixiedust:

DH and I chatted and thought: what the hell!!!! We are going to Disneyland. :dance3: I am seriously beside myself. We are planning on leaving AZ about 6 am for the 5 hour drive. That should put us in the park by noonish for sure!!! :woohoo:

It's booked and paid for and because Getawaytoday is local here in Utah, about 15 minutes from my house, they waived the $20 handling fee and DH is picking up the package tomorrow morning. I hope he doesn't bend the papers, I hate that!!!! :headache:

Ahhh I'm so jealous! I've only been to Disneyland twice but had so much fun. I really want to go back. :guilty:

:cool1::woohoo: WOW!!! I've actually never been to DL (I'm not a huge fan of the L.A. area), but would so love to go (if I could avoid L.A.). That is exciting.

Wow you're so lucky going to DL :yay:

I got back a few hours ago and had a fantastic time, didn't see Keith and Tracy though :sad2:
