Made my packing list this morning. I have never not been packed this close to a trip. The weather be varied between AZ and CA so I will be packing a lot more than I wanted to.

So close now

I hear ya on the packing

Sinc we are going in December and weather is so wishy washy that time of year, will have to pack for both seasons

I hate having to pack for 2 seasons. With 75* being the high in Anaheim, we will for sure need pants for the nighttime.

Amen to that!!

Seriously. It dropped 40* in a day.

Tomorrow we leave for AZ!!! ​

I am so excited and the kids are bouncing off the walls. Just waiting for DH to get home. We have to drop Guinness at the kennel and Riley at my inlaws- they won't take both dogs. Then we need to pack the Expedition and off we go...................

Have a great trip. I can't wait to hear about it. It also makes me want to take a side trip when we go to AZ to visit my parents. My poor husband owes me big time.

I am sorry to hear about you maybe postponing your trip but hope you get the new job.

Thanks I am a little sad but my dh said we can stay deluxe and maybe even go twice next year. This is the 3rd time I have had to postpone this trip. Now I just need to figure out when we can go. I really do hope I get this job as it is the perfect job and hours for me. The job is for AAA so maybe I will get some great discounts.

Hi kids! Just checking in from The Happiest Place on Earth! I am going to need a vacation from my vacation I am chilling in the hotel after feasting on Buca de Beppo and watching Chloe and Joshua sleep. They are out, exhausted, down for the count. Michael and Gab just headed back in to take advantage of all of FPs we scored today Disneyland's crowd have been minimal and the Halloween fireworks are amazing. They rival Wishes even.


Lots to report but I will tell you we may come home AP holders for Disneyland and if so, then next WDW is out for next year and Disneyland is in. Still talking about it though...........................

• Hilton Garden Inn is a pit. Like my oldest said: this isn't DVC.
• The Halloween fireworks rival Wishes- amazing!!! If you want viewing tips- just ask.
• Tiki Rooms rocks my socks- I have missed it so much. Same with Toad, Matterhorn, and IASW. I dig the Subs too.
• Crowd levels are low. The longest we have waited was for TSM today and it was 20 minutes.
• Disneyland looks fabulous for the Fall.
• We have encountered very nice CMs.
• Rope drop at Disneyland is so much easier than at WDW.
• I like HMH better then HM.
• The weather is perfect; mid 70's during the day and sweatshirt weather at night.
• The park food has much to be desired. Guess I am spoiled by the food at WDW.
• I Disneyland more than the Magic Kingdom but love WDW more than the DL resort area if that makes sense. Anaheim is butt ugly. Staying off property is not my favorite.

Good enough but I would be lying if I said I didn't call Member Services to see if a Studio at GCV opened up.


Now DH and I are trying to decide if we could really skip WDW next year and make Disneyland our big Disney trip for the year.

Good enough but I would be lying if I said I didn't call Member Services to see if a Studio at GCV opened up.


Now DH and I are trying to decide if we could really skip WDW next year and make Disneyland our big Disney trip for the year.

You have to remember that the World of Color will be up and running sometime next year at DCA. However, most of the construction at DCA will still be going on.....

2012 is when the expanded Fantasyland opens at the MK, but it's also when Carsland is opening at DCA.......

Decisions, decisions. I think with Disneyland you have the beach, family and friends to visit as well.....
