OH. MY. HECK. They were freaking hysterical! Really, it was like having a lounge act there. In the lounge. I dont know what got into those boys, but theyd let loose and tapped into their inner frat-boys.![]()
Oh man, that was probably the most fun I've had in WDW EVER!It was a really, really, really fun night. Thank you all again for being there.![]()
Oh gosh, I forgot all about this part!I wasnt there; I only heard about it the next day. And, if shell forgive me saying so, LLs tale of that night was equal parts HIGH-larious and heart-breaking. All Im saying is this: Michael really should have just bunked with Leo in our room when we got dropped off. The full story involves lost shoes, neck-craning, and, correct me if Im wrong singing? Push LL for the story; itll knock your socks off.![]()
Next: So long, farewell and Im never speaking to you again!
And LL remembered out loud, as we approached the gate, that shed left her room key in the room. As had Tony. And also Michael.
First, while Victorian excess isnt my cup of decorating tea, its hard not to be impressed by the GF. And the GF Café is an extension of that lobby look very pretty, with lovely views of the immaculate grounds.
While we were ordering, Michelle, matriarch of TheDISneyFamily, and her DH Steve arrived
And if that wasnt enough, Michelle and Steve graciously invited us all up to their villa!

Look at that view!
The drink of choice is, of course, the Lapu Lapu.

Sadly, our time was up after a round or two and kids were waiting to be sprung from the Club. So, amongst many hugs and goodbyes, we headed back to the GF and grabbed the kids. Who were in no way ready to leave. They sure do like the kids clubs!

Hee hee, the kids were all headed to the Mousketeers Club for the night. Especially on these long trips, its just heaven for the kids to get away from us parents for a while and hang with their own crowd. They, of course, receive excellent supervision courtesy of the amazing WDW Recreation staff, but they seem to feel like theyre on their own for a while. This makes for some very happy campers.

Look at that view!
You remember the story of why he decided to hike up shirt, right? All the guys were teasing him for ordering a "chick" drink. So he decided to hit on Tony. Hee hee hee.

It definitely went too quickly. It was so good to see all of you again! And meet some new people, but the time does go way too quickly. Great pictures, V. I might need to borrow them.
Thanks!OMG - I don't have time to quote, but GREAT job V!!
Why not?!OK, I am really mad at myself for not moving our trip up!
Can we plan 2013 now
It was such a fun night, and sooo relaxed, too!Oh, it sounds awesome! You got some great pictures, and you all look so happy.
Your meet looks so good That's all I've got![]()
Yay, you'll love it! Or you'll hate it. That seems to be the case; I've yet to hear anyone feel just "okay" about it, lol!A few DISer friends & myself will be heading to BLT villas in November!!! Can't wait to see it!
Thank you!Gorgeous photos V!
LOL, won't it?!It'll be nice when LL is notsobusy so she and we can catch up on her trippie
Great pictures and fun viewing. Grand Floridian Cafe is one of my favorites, good food and I have always had great service. The wait staff really have the Disney spirit of hospitality.[/QUOTE]
And, sadly, it's lacking a lot in other locations.
I've been peeking at TRs from years past lately and it IS neat to watch the kids grow! It's funny how through TR's you see kids get bigger year after year.
I cannot believe my brother's gut is posted on the internet! You remember the story of why he decided to hike up shirt, right? All the guys were teasing him for ordering a "chick" drink. So he decided to hit on Tony. Hee hee hee.
Nope, that's the Garden View Lounge; they just do tea and I think drinks in the evening.V, if you walk all the way through the GF lobby to the end, is that the cafe? You have to go up a couple of steps? If so, we had the Tea there last August and it was wonderful. I didn't realize they did other meals there - sounds great!
The GF Cafe is all the way back, and then left. It sort of shares an entrance with V&A.
So kind - thank you!You are so cute in all your photos, but that's an absolutely beautiful picture of you!
Sure can!Ahhh.... can't we do it again?
Wait a minute! SURE we can!![]()
OMGosh, I can't believe you guys were even still upright after your trip!I had a really great time seeing everyone!Sorry we pooped out on you and missed the fun at the Tambu lounge. It was just a heck of a travel day after being delayed and then stuck on a plane for over an hour in the terminal while a monsoon raged outside.
BUT, I had to at least share one drink with my favorite virtual friends.
You guys are the best!
Thank YOU for sharing a drink and your villa with us! Can't wait to see you again... SOON!

Hi Rosie!Hi V !!!
It really was! I highly recommend the monorail loop for such occasions.Your DIS-meet lounge-hopping sounded like so much fun!![]()
6 definitely isn't. 9's probably fine, too - it's not all baby stuff, though the Mousketeers at the GF seems "younger" than the others. They all have movies and video games, art supplies, a comfy spot to read, etc. We've still yet to try one of these out, but I'm tempted. Our girls are 6 & 9 now, I wonder if that's too old?
southern cali representing well....![]()
Maybe I'm just remembering something else - it's a little Fuzzy.Ummm...I'm going to need an email to errrrr...refresh my memory on the singing...heh heh....I remember the lost shoes and what-not, but the singing is escaping me...
