I love that shirt that you got at the gap! I also love those Mickey clips. I can't believe you have had them for so long. I think they will look so cute next to her ponytail. I always have to put a rubberband in first and then the clips whenever I put anything in DD's hair.

Maybe I can get Helen a few new ones too when we are there!! I am getting so excited about the trip too! In two days we start our countdown calendar!!! I can't believe it Karen!! It has come so fast and we have quite a few things going on in the next couple weeks so I am sure the time will fly!! I have taken our big suitcase down and have been stashing things away. I think we are going to check only two larger suitcases. Cory will carry-on a smaller suitcase for swimsuits, and toiletries, and goodies. I will carry on a bag with travel documents and snacks and Gabe will be in charge of his backpack with toys. I feel organized so far...we'll see in a couple of weeks if I still feel that way!!

Hi Everyone!! Sorry there hasn't been update in the last couple of days...there hasn't been much to report. Gabe and I went to the dentist yesterday, he checked out great and I have my first cavity ever!! AHHHHHHHH!! So on the 19th of April I have to get that taken care of, I am hoping to get a date earlier in the month just in case I have to go back in a second time, I want to be feeling good before our trip!!! Almost 30 days and then we can start our countdown calendar!!

We have had great weather here in Minnesota so we have been outside a lot! Gabe is getting to be a pro on his Razor scooter that we had gotten him for his birthday! Helen is starting to pedal the trike too!! They are sleeping extra great too having all that extra fresh air!! We LOVE Spring!!! Gabe is on Spring Break next week. We are just hanging around here and the weatherman says a possibility of 70 degrees!! WOW!!! I hope he is right...

I haven't done much more planning, I hope to get our packet here in the next few days since I have been reading that others are getting theirs, I am getting "ME tag envy"...

Does anyone know much about there being a Blackberry App about ride wait times and such??? Cory has a Blackberry Storm and I was hoping there was an App we can use...

(I'm also disappointed about Muppet Vision 3D. It's my mom's favorite, so she's super bummed. But at least we know ahead of time.)

Verizon does have an app called Mobile Magic but it's not currently available for smart phones (bummer since I just upgraded to a Droid and my old phone was compatible! ) but you can use your phone's browser to visit m.disneyworld.go.com for lots of helpful info. If you're a touringplans.com member you can also use their program called "lines."

Hey! I babysit for 3 children during the week and I know EXACTLY what you mean about getting them out into the fresh air so they sleep better! The girls go to pre-k and nursery school for a few hours everyday and after I pick them up, I bring them into the backyard and have them ride their bikes and play on the swing set so that way they go inside and take a good nap! I love basking in the sun as well! Here's to hoping that when they're on spring break (the following week) we will have great weather and I can just have them outside allllll morning!

Thanks for the info Jen! DH does not go out of his way to find out what is available for his phone so I have to do the searching!! I know our TA gets the packet first and then sends it along to us so it probably takes an extra day or two to get here. I am hoping that today is the day!!!!

The weather has been teasing us so bad right now here in Minnesota, today the high is only about 45 but then a slow warm-up and by next week it should REALLY feel like spring! At least the sun is out!! A good nap for me means more DIS time!!!

Yes! The time is flying for both of us Connie!! I hope that mail is in the mailbox TODAY!!!! It's chillier here so we have been getting some inside things done. Starting to wash up snowpants and pack them away...and of course the endless piles of laundry I will post the first countdown pic tomorrow!!!

Joining in! I've never read a PTR before, but I saw a fellow Minnesotan on the boards and had to check out your plans!

First of all, I have several pics of myself at WDW in the 90s wearing shortalls, so it was fun to laugh along with all of you at our previous wardrobe disasters.

When planning our December '09 trip it was all about reducing wait times - so here's a few tips on the characters:

You may already know this, but ToonTown usually opens 1 hour after rope drop. They do another little rope drop at the entrance to Toon Town an hour after the park opens. (You can confirm this when you arrive, but from what I understand it's common practice.) So, you can do some Fantasyland attractions during the first hour then head over to ToonTown. If you're at ToonTown Rope Drop you will be able to get right in with the princesses and if you're in the first group possibly even get pics with more then one of them at a time.

I've heard if you head to Character Connection at Epcot (and/or Camp Minnie Mickey in AK) at Rope Drop you have the chance of getting a photo with multiple characters as well. I like your idea of sending one of your party to get Soarin fastpasses while the rest of you head to the Character Connection.

We found the lines for Buzz and Woody at MK to be much shorter then at DHS. The down side is you don't see them together at MK. Buzz is in Tomorrowland and Woody is with Jessie in Frontierland. We waited about 5 minutes for Buzz and 15 for Woody at MK. The next day at DHS the line for Buzz and Woody by TSM was over an hour! And we were there at an off-peak time of the year. (early December)

I have a wait times app for my iphone - I'm sure there are apps for the blackberry too. I love looking at it while I'm sitting in line at school or watching tv, or any old time.

By the way, MK is open until 11 tonight and the wait for Space Mountain is currently 85 minutes - only 15 minutes for Buzz. You'll have to wait 35 minutes if you want to ride BTMRR or Splash Mtn. If Fantasyland is more your style, 45 minutes to ride Peter Pan and only 15 for Winnie the Pooh. 20 minutes for Dumbo.

DHS is open until 10 tonight - 60 minutes for TSM, 70 for RnRC & 40 for ToT.

We are HUGE Twins Fans, my son pretends daily that he is Joe Mauer!! He tells me he wants to be a catcher and a garbage truck driver...

Two thumbs up at being a shortall wearer in the 90's too!!! Thanks for all the advice on seeing characters too!! I know that will be a MAJOR part of our trip this time! I didn't know you could meet Woody and Jessie in Frontierland either, that will be a biggie for us!! I am thinking we are leaning more towards hitting up character connection first or pretty early on our Epcot day!! We are so excited that it is getting so close!!!

You must be a JJ Hardy fan then Sarah! We have never come to a game, my aunt usually goes on a bus trip to Miller Park every summer and we were going to go last summer but the games were during the week and not over a weekend so they ended up not getting a bus!!

To answer your question, BOTH! I have twin boys who are 7 years old and we love the Minnesota Twins! One of my boys favorite is Mauer and the other's is Justin Morneau. We can't wait to see the new stadium this summer. One Disney related Twins story . . . the first time I went to WDW with my parents and siblings in 1991 we saw Frank Viola there with his family. My brother had his picture taken with him in Frontierland.

My boys also went through a phase where they were obsessed with garbage trucks. One of them wanted to be the driver and the other would be the "hanger-on" (the guy on the back who hops on and off) Hope you get a chance at the Waste Management display in Innoventions - I bet your son would love it.
