There's a First Time for Everything! A Christmas In November TR

I love the way your daughter was really movin' and groovin' at the parade! I bet she had fun with some of those characters and CMs that came through. I'm glad you spoke up to Mr. Budge in Front of Kids Rude Man. What a jerk.

What sort of "private event" was going on at the Osborne lights? Was it even advertised? I am so sad for you. I'm hopeful you got to see them later in the week.

Enjoy that snow! I'll help you and send you all of ours here in MN. ;) I love your huge yard!! And you have such a pretty home. :)

Great videos! :cool1:

Congrats on the snow ~ loved the pics! I'd be glad to send you some more snow if you'd like ~ anytime (yes, I'm a northerner)! :rotfl:

LOL! We just watched all the videos. My son was laughing throughout all of your screaming on Big Thunder. Hilarious!! :lmao:

Your snow pictures are adorable!! Everyone should get to catch snowflakes on their tongue and make snow angels at least once in their lifetime. I'm glad you took pictures!

I won't mock you southerners. ;) It really looks pretty. Ours is sort of dirty, especially along the roads.
Stay warm!!!

Great snow pictures!! It's so fun but so dang cold!!! That wind is really biting! Seeing the picture of your DD eating it made me think about bringing some in to make snow cream...will have to look that up!

I've got some pictures up on my PTR now!:)

The parade was a highlight of the day. DD loved it. I hate confrontation, but I had to say something about that guy. It was just too rediculous to ignore.

I have no idea what was going on that night. As much as I've read on the DIS, I've never heard of them doing a private event before. I just wish I had known about it earlier. We could have skipped the Animation Academy and gone on down. Oh well, live and learn.:sad2:

I know you guys get sick of the snow up there. I'm glad we don't get it all the time. It wouldn't be any fun if we did.

Thank you for your nice comments on the house. We built this house about 4years ago on my Grandmother's farm. We live way out in the country and everyone has very large yards here. One of the many things I love about the country. :cloud9: (except in the summer when I have to cut it )

Sure, I'll take it. Send me some about three times a winter. That should do nicely!

I told you I am a total ride chicken. I love BTMRR, but it still makes me scream. I just can't help it. DH and DD both say I embarrass them.

I agree. Catching snow on your tongue, making snow angels, and eating snow cream are some of life's simple pleasures.

Thanks for not picking on us. I know it must seem completely rediculous to you to get excited over snow. I'm sure you guys hate to see it coming. But I bet we haven't had a significant snowfall here more than 10 times in my whole life. It's a really big deal. Schools here close at the MENTION of one flake.

I saw your pictures. They are great! It is way too cold for me out there now too. I'm done for today. We'll be making snow cream for sure tomorrow. That's tradition! :)

Love the snow photos, looks as though your DD had a great time playing in it :thumbsup2

It has took me all day today to read your report and I have to say its BRILLIANT !!!
I cant wait to find out if you ever get to see the osbourne lights and the snow pictures at the end are fab !!

Thank you. It was fun. Freezing, but fun. It is just so bitter cold here. Normally when we get snow, it melts soon after because the temps won't stay low enough. Today the high was 23 degrees. I can never remember temps this low here. Our skin just isn't thick enough for that kind of cold! :scared1:

Aww, thank you so much and :welcome: to the trip report. I am so excited to have another reader from the UK!!! You may have already read this in other comments I've posted, but it is my dream to visit England some day. How lucky you are to live in such a beautiful place. So glad you're joining in here! :)

Feel free to post any of your snow pictures here as well! Have a wonderful day everyone!

I love this picture! I think your daughter looks a lot like your husband in it! I posted some pictures from our Baltimore trip and our snow day(and Christmas!) on Facebook. If you'd like to send me a friend request PM me. Or PM your info and I'll "friend" you.

Oh no! Don't laugh, but I am not on Facebook or anything else for that matter. I know I'm the only person on Earth who isn't. I just have so much that I am trying to keep up with on the DIS that there is no time for any of those things. I'm subcribed to a ton of TRs and PTRs and getting more everyday. Everytime someone posts on my TR and has a TR link in their signature, I want to add it to my subscriptions, but there is only so much time in the day! Maybe once I am finished with my own TR, I will have more time and might possibly get around to doing the Facebook thing. But if I add anymore computer time on right now, my husband will divorce me! :lmao: I hate that though, b/c I'd love to see your pictures. I like to put a face with the folks I'm chatting with and know what's going on with them as well. But I'll let you know if I ever get around to adding Facebook! :thumbsup2

DD is so cute enjoying the snowfall! She made a great snow angel! :thumbsup2

She had so much fun making snow angels. She made about 7 or 8 of them! She had never done that before. We got a little snow last year but it was hard and icey, not good for snow angels. And we got nothing the year before that. So this has been a fun snow for her!

They absolutley made a mess of my floors yesterday though! When this is gone, I'm going to have to break out the carpet cleaner! FUN! :sad2:

I was all wrong on our days. We were at HS on Wed and AK on Thursday. That is why I couldn't see us next to the cone. We were at MK on Friday, so maybe we catch up there:)

I'm going to post the rest of the videos to get me caught up to our Hollywood Studios day. From here on, I'll post any video in the regular update. Again these are all short clips, so it should only take a few minutes to watch, but there is some cute stuff here.

Well that's the day we saw the girls at the Tink store. Did you guys go back in there by any chance? Can't wait to see if we cross paths. It will be hilarious if you are in any of my pictures!

When we got our Kimmunicators in Norway, some kid came out of nowhere and started telling us how to use it.

Did you ever find out what his story was? That's really wierd that his parents were nowhere to be found!

Oh yes!!! What was impossible in 2008, was now made possible in 2009! :thumbsup2

So glad you got your gingerbread!

Oh my gosh, I love the necklaces! What a fabulous idea! I saved the ebay link you posted in case there are still some available when we go back!

I could not believe that we were standing there completely alone in Epcot watching those amazing fireworks! pixiedust: It was like we had a private showing! So awesome!

How magical! :lovestruc

Where was the baby Jesus?

You got me curious, so I just went back and check my photos. We were there on 12/12/09 at 2:47pm and Baby Jesus was IN the manger. Hmmm...maybe once December hits, they leave him in all the time? :confused3

We walked up the bleachers and couldn't believe what we saw. One of DD's classmates from school was sitting right there!

Wow! What are the chances?!?

That IS a hard character to draw! One of my faves, but still hard. I think you all did a great job!

And that was it. No more lights.

Oh no! I could just cry for you!

Denise

Wow, I'm 10 pages behind....
So glad that kid following you around in Mexico wasn't Baylor.....
:lmao:

Yay for your gingerbread man finally! Loved the dancing pictures in Italy! She looks so serious!:lmao:

I love the carriage cage pendant! I was planning to do the pick a pearl next visit, so I just used your link to order some of those darling pendants....
I may have to send some to my DIS buddies!

How fun is it that you guys met up with a school friend! Love it! That happened to us last trip too...
We were walking along in World Showcase...
