There's a First Time for Everything! A Christmas In November TR

I've been MIA myself! Spring is such a busy time!!! :laundy: Your trip is right around the corner I think! I've got to get over there and get caught up! I don't want to miss anything!!

We just got back on Saturday and had an amazing time!! Ally & I both picked pearls for our carriage pearl cages (thanks for the idea)!! :goodvibes I just started a Christmas PTR if you want to check it out!! I'd love your input!! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2477891

I wish I could hear a northern accent from your point of view. Well, kind of, I bet it sounds awful. At least a southern accent is so pretty!

 I wouldn't say awful, but it is very unique! :rotfl: And I guess a southern accent could be pretty depending on who is doing the talking. I have family that I can barely stand to listen to because they draw each word out for an eternity. Think Paula Deen and you'll understand! :lmao: It would literally take my cousin 5 minutes to say, "Wellllllllll, how have ya'lllllll been doinnnnnnnnn'!" :rolleyes1 Bless her heart! :lmao:

Lol this made me laugh.. I never understand when I'm in the USA and people say "oh I love your accent!" - because I don't think I have one :rolleyes1 .. but then I realise that the English accent sounds soo different to any American accent!

Hope you are well & looking forward to summer! :goodvibes

Well I have never heard you speak, but I would bet that you have a heavy accent for SURE! ;) But I LOVE an English accent! I think it just sounds so proper and poetic! Although I must admit that sometimes when I am watching a British mystery on tv, I need subtitles to understand! :lmao:

Being from Connecticut, some years ago I moved to southern Ohio, the most southern tip, where it borders Kentucky on one side and West Virginia on the other side.....the people there have a southern accent very noticeable to my ears, but the funny thing was every place I went people would say to me when they heard me speak, "Your not from around here? are You?" I found out I had an accent too :rotfl:

 It is funny to hear someone say that when it seems so normal to you. I bet that is a VERY interesting mix there on the border of Ohio and WV. Hmmm, that just conjures up all kinds of pictures in my mind!

I am so glad you enjoyed the P-A-P! It is such a great mother/daughter thing to do! I can't wait to read all about it! I am assuming you will do a TR! I've already checked in on the PTR and I hope to do better about keeping up with it this time. Summer is usually very laid back around here so I plan on plenty of DIS time!
