The kids aren't going to school because there has been a very credible threat made against Richmond school students.

But I was accused of posting misinformation.

What I find interesting is that the article mentions school busses being a target. This morning he shot someone on a commuter bus. Is this shooting his warning that he can and will target busses and that the next one may be a school bus?

I thought there had to be a threat against schools. Otherwise I think they would have closed the schools after the the little boy was shot. I so wish they would catch that sick sick person.

Gee Blondie, your word or an actual news article. Which would you take more seriously? If you had posted a reliable source it wouldn't be an issue. I, for one, won't take anyone's hunches over a confirmed story.

If the specific threat was school buses, I wonder why they closed some private schools that don't even have school buses (for instance, my alma mater Saint Gertrude was closed and they don't have buses.)

Personally, I think it's important to follow up any kind of "newsie" type of story with a link. There is way too much false information and opinions going around on all sides. Sometimes the only way to back up your own beliefs is by posting some sort of backup information.

After being in various and sundry internet forums since 1989, that's something I often learned the hard way.

If all the other schools are closed, I wouldn't want my school to be open and be a prime target.
