Hah! No, don't string me up by my toes, I'm just kidding. ;)

But seriously - is there anywhere to meet Izzy from Jake & the Neverland Pirates at the parks? We're already scheduled to meet Jake at H&V breakfast, but my little girl loves Izzy.

What about Bolt? Is Bolt wagging his tail anywhere around WDW?

Thanks!

I haven't seen Bolt since 2010. Pretty sure he's retired.

I don't believe Izzy has ever been a meetable character, but she might in the Playhouse Disney show.

not heard about izzy having a meet and greet at all but bolt is out occasionally. He was out for a dog dance party in tomorrow land in the summer and I've seen him in some places around MK but he's not out everyday.

Thanks guys! I guess she'll just have to make do with Cinderella and Belle and Tinkerbell and Anna and Elsa and Aurora and Alice and Snow White and....and....and....

Man, they really do cater to the little girls, don't they?

Check out Kenny the pirates site he has a lot on the character meet and greets.

Oh I was so going to say there are way too many before I realized you were kidding. I really don't like waiting in those character lines. I'm kind of glad they're mostly inside so my DD4 doesn't realize they are there. Does that make me terrible? I do take her to character meals.

The pay off is bigger. Little girls want the dresses, shoes, tiaras, BBB, sparkly stuff, dolls, toys, playsets ...

Little boys may want some pirate gear or some cars playsets, but not nearly at the rate little girls devour anything with a princess or a fairy on it.

If parents of boys spent what parents of girls do on consumer products, there'd be more boy stuff.

How would they know what parents of boys would spend, since they don't put out the product? And I don't mean nylon costumes (that on boys end up form fitting, unlike a princess dress that bells out and you can wear a shirt and leggings underneath without bursting into flame from the heat), but GOOD costumes. If they've never made the effort, they cannot possibly know.

They need to bring out some of the POTC characters on a regular basis (Barbosa, Will Turner, Jack, etc.) as well as some of the Marvel characters. I know they have started doing Captain America on the Magic and at DL. They need to bring him to WDW soon.

There are others they could do as well, but those would be the heavy hitters.

They cannot have and avenger characters here because of the contract with universal. They could have guardians of the galaxy characters but no iron man, captain America, hulk etc.

Being a mom to all boys, I know I always wanted more stuff for them in the parks and characters too. I do think that boys have a different tolerance for the lines though-I can't think of a single character that they would have waited for hours in line to see, at least as little boys.

3 hours for Jack Skellington at the age of 17-they didn't give that one a second thought, even stood still long enough for the pictures.

At a certain age, even the boys become interested in princesses. What's not to like?;)

When we were there in November we were in line at Hollywood Studios to meet Santa goofy and I looked over and they were having some random dance party thing (didn't see it advertised in the daily events) and they had Bolt and Max (Goofy's son) there dancing with the kids. I have a pic of my daughter dancing with Bolt. So there is hope. Maybe ask a castmember that day when you are there. He might come out for the characterpalooza at Hollywood Studios sometimes too.
