I don't see any MAGIC in being up at 12:16 on a work night waiting for the magical hour of 1 am to arrive so that I can make FP selections. JUST SAYIN!! BTW this isn't my first Disney Rodeo I have been there over 20 times since 1983. This is my first time since 2012 with all the changes. April can't come fast enough.

I agree! I was told it would open up at 12am eastern. Its 25 minutes in and mine won't allow me to schedule for 4/19 like my little card in the mail said!

personally i found it magical when i did it last week.
then again i'm a night owl so staying up did not bother me.

when MK closes at 1am as it is tonight you can't book your FP+ until 1am est.
btw i'm pretty sure the mailing does not specify a time just a date.

Yea, I just figured that out. At least it's not something wrong! I can handle staying up 15 more minutes. I am nightowl too but not looking forward to tomorrow! I will have relief when this is all done though.

We are trying to book remaining days today and all we get is "Party will be removed. Maximum FPs" We're there for 10 days and only have 3 days booked. It's so frustrating.

Unless you feel you have to have A&e and do the mine train on your first day, get a good night's sleep and do it when you get around to it. Have fun.

I promise you'll get magic for your hard work. You're wonderful for staying up until 1:00 to get those FP+. Have a great vacation

Look on the bright side- The later the opening, the fewer people willing to stay up that late- so less competition! Imagine how difficult it would be to actually snag an A&E if the window opened at a more popular time.

I agree, the process stinks. And yet, we do it because our kids HAVE to meet Anna and Elsa so we just suck it up. I did it last week and I am NOT a night owl in the slightest. My window opened at midnight so I just went to sleep around 10pm and set my clock for 11:55. Then, of course, since I was doing the FP reservations anyway, I stayed up til about 1 finishing them. Ugh. It is a terrible process and made me feel so anxious. I hate trying to pick exactly where we will be not only each day, but also planning our park touring to revolve around these times. I tried to make them so that we are not zig zagging around the parks all day. Anyway, it's done now and I am hoping I made a good plan. Good luck!

Completely agree with you. I think FP+ and My magic + would be better if it was much more flexible and took some aspects of the old FP- system

I didnt enjoy the process either. Luckily we dont need A&E and no interest in wasting sleep over mine train, so i refuse to play the midnight/1am game again. In fact, on our upcoming trip, i might not plan any fp at all.
