rode Rock n Roller coaster!! Not just once or twice but three times! It was the first ride we went on the day we did MGM. DS asked if it went upside down and we told him not that we remember. We grabbed fastpasses then went in the standby line. When we got off the fastpass time had begun and DS asked if we could get more fastpasses! "wow, this is cool, awesome!" We bought the third pic and frame. Great momento of DSs very first loopy loop, corkscrew, upside down coaster!

I'm glad you had a good time.

My son was 9 when we took our first trip in 2001. He would not go on RNRC, Tower or Terror, or Space Mountain! (I did talk him into trying SM, we got stuck on it and a CM had to come escort us out. He refused to give it another try.)

When we take our 2nd trip this Easter he will be 11. He has said he wants to try everything that he was afraid of before!! I hope he enjoys them as much as your son enjoyed RNRC.

yeah to IGTO...It seems like you had a big disappointment with the cruise being cancelled but are taking the suggestions for focus on the positive. I am glad to hear that while your trip wasn't everything you wanted it to be, that you did have some good experiences and can focus on the good parts of the trip.

Glad to hear that your son love RRC. My niece want to try it next time she is down. It would probably be me and her dad with her since my sister refuses to go on any rollercoaster that goes upside down. I had to go on Kraken at Seaworld with my BIL a couple of years ago for this reason, and my niece was so mad she couldn't go (no where near the height requirement; she was only five). She is a little daredevil so she is looking forward to the wilder rides.

Last year I went with DS13 (at the time) on RnR, it was his very first upside-down rollercoaster too! I bought the pic too, to commemorate the event I love rollercoasters and I'm glad to finally have someone to ride them with; DH's a chicken
