Arrived safely at YC earler...3rd floor facing quiet pool.

Walked to DHS and rode Tower, Toy Story and Star Tours with FP+.

Shopped at Frozen Oaken's Trading Post and now dining at Mama Melrose's.

Frozen fireworks later!

What a wonderful day back in the Beach Club lobby. Met so many Disers ... new and old friends.

Glad to hear that, Teena!

Sounds like a fantastic start! Have a great trip!

So we need to be updated to the Be Our Guest list.

DH won't be home in October from Afghanistan so I will be moving our reservation to January once the dates come out.

May try and get the YC instead of the BC, but either will work :)

I'll pencil you in for January.

Thank you to your husband for his service and to your family for your sacrifices!

With the upcoming renovation at the BC, does it make sense that the BC will not be quite as crowded/busy this fall and winter, due to the fact that some rooms will be removed from inventory during remodeling? Does anyone know about how many rooms will be blocked at a time?

Teena - you must be slightly exhausted from your recent busy schedule; but, it's probably a good kind of exhaustion. :)

Not bad at all so far.

I was actually pretty happy with how I slept out west and in Hawaii. We had a brutal schedule Friday/Saturday (pickup for volcano tour at 7:15 on Friday, brought back to resort at 6 pm, flight to San Fran at 11 pm then flight to Boston landing at 5 pm. We all actually slept quite a bit during the red-eye, which I didn't think would happen. I was in bed last night around 9 pm our time, up for a couple of hours and then slept till after 8 am (I never sleep that late)

Have had an easy day, laundry and DISing and still feeling pretty good!

Need to start working on pictures soon!

Glad to hear. We both had a horrible time adjusting to the time out there and back. I know we were just exhausted by the stress of Hurricane Sandy/no power etc. After our first night back I didn't sleep right for a week.

I think I am all caught up on the Be Our Guest list, but I would appreciate if you would take a moment to look it over to see if your information is correct.

Let me know if you have any corrections or adjustments.

Thanks!

Thank you :)

We were really looking forward to being at the BC for F&W, but on the bright side, at least January will be less crowded, and rates will be lower.

And I think DH really wanted to stay at the YC (just no availability when we were going to go in October). He's ex-Navy, so the naval theming really got to him :thumbsup2

I guess we will see where we will end up in 3 days!

Frozen fireworks are AWESOME!

We watched from the end of Hollywood Blvd. We had a good view of the stage show via the large video screen and a perfect view of the fireworks.

After the fireworks, we walked down Hollywood Blvd in a snowstorm...beautiful!

Nice stroll back to YC ended our evening.

The Frozen fireworks and snow sound awesome! I wish they would extend that for awhile - or make it permanent. ::yes::

It is really nice to walk back from HS. :)

So excited for our 2nd BC stay (8/29-9/2). We had done Poly the past 2 years, but with construction and monorail issues, back to BC for us! This is a quick trip for my 6 year old DD and I over Labor Day weekend before she starts school. We have APs ( planning a 10-14 day trip next summer), FP+ for 7dMT & A&E Meet, tickets for our first ever MNSSHP. We have 3 park days and plan to fill in as much as we can. We usually spend most of our time at MK, but we are only there one day this time with 1 day at EPCOT & 1 at DHS, so BC is perfect! Now hoping we can get a discount and stay there again next summer as well. Hoping to arrive from MCO at the resort and head to IG to activate our AP vouchers and hit EPCOT for EMH in time for Illuminations. Hoping the crowds are typical for that weekend as we usually tour with level 8 crowds, so 4/5 will be heaven!

What is MNSSHP? Fairly new here, but I've picked up on most of the abbreviations...can't get this one tonight.

Welcome back, Dee. Your trip home sounds brutal. :faint:

I see that you have updated your ticker. :goodvibes

You can have it. This stuff is WORK! Seriously.....my pleasure. And thank you all that you do to help others!

I joined this thread a couple of weeks ago. I put out my info asking to be put on BOG. I think I may have been missed (if not, thank you!!). Anyway, I'd love to be added to BOG...myself, husband, 3 year old son, and two daughters ( both who will be celebrating birthdays while we are there, one turning 10, the other turning 13) will be at the BC April 4-10th. This will be our second trip ever, the first trip being almost 7 years ago. Can't wait!!
