After my lunch in the Marketplace this afternoon I am headed to Stormalong Bay.

I'm just posting this to make you all jealous.

Next week I will be home and it will be my turn to be jealous.

Thank you that is all.... :p

I was already jealous lol!!!

Posting this from the club lounge. Enjoying some oatmeal and Hugh Jackman on the television behind me. The wifi seems to be best from this spot. If you're in the lounge and facing the windows/balcony, it's the table with two chairs on the right against the windows. It's pretty sporadic in the room and I had trouble with it at the table behind the couch. If you see someone hanging out in the lounge with a macbook air, that's me.

Thank you so much everyone for the good thoughts. Most likely it's absolutely nothing. Just bad circumstances that it's the first appointment I've ever missed and I'm on vacation without her and I was nervous about both of those things.

When I first checked in, I had a bit of culture shock, if that makes sense. We've stayed at the Poly, AKL, and WL. AKL is the resort we've been to most often. They're very different, which isn't bad, just different. I've really come to love it, though. And Stormalong Bay is just fabulous. The question isn't whether we'll come back, but whether we'll try the other side.

My oldest child is trying to read what I'm typing and I'm tempted to post something about how her hair looked on Buzz Lightyear last night and I'm going to put the ride photo up her for the world to see.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:, sounds like something I would do to my daughter, we call her nosey Josie !
Sending prayers for your little one!!

MK buses - 1 word - crowded. We walked over to YC on Sunday after seeing the crowd at BC waiting for the MK bus. Although, it turns out the CM out by BC bus stop did call in for MK bus. Was certainly a popular morning for MK going from BC.

We've had a fun relaxing day at the YC enjoying every last drop until we move tomorrow to the WL for the remainder of our trip :cloud9: hope our time there will be as magical as our time at the YC as been

I can TOTALLY appreciate your question. My first question on this board was about coffee.

I believe the studios have 4 cup Mr. Coffee style makers and the 1 BR and 2 BR have 10 cup Mr. Coffee makers. So filters and grounds.

Here is the post from the Other Useful Info Post (Post 14) on Page 1:

What kind of coffeemakers are in the resort rooms?

As of October 2011, the drip coffee makers in the BC and YC resort rooms were replaced.

The regular resort rooms and club level rooms (including Deluxe Rooms) now have the Cuisinart Double Pod Machines:

Here is what I believe are in the rooms currently. Anyone who has been there more recently, please correct this info if it is wrong:

All regular (non-club level) rooms: Cuisinart Pods

All standard club level rooms, all views (standard meaning non-suite), including Deluxe Club Level Rooms: Cuisinart Pods

Suites (1 BR, 2 BR, VP, Presidential Suites): Keurig K-cup

Beach Club Villas- Mr. Coffee-type makers (4 cup for studio, 10 cup for 1BR, 2BR)

I think this applies to both BC and YC- again, let me know if I am wrong!

:coffee:[/QUOTE]

Thank you for sharing information regarding coffee pods/pots/makers... I was wondering the same.

I'd love to be added to your Be Our Guest list. Our stay is 10/14 - 10/19 at the YC.

Thank you~
Jessica

My magic bands are on their way!!! I'll be at the BCR in 31 days!!! Can't decide where I want to eat lunch our first afternoon. Thinking about either Hurricane Hannah's, the Boardwalk Bakery, or going over to the counter service in France!

I had a case of water, an 8 pack of the small bottles of coke zero, hand soap, and some boxes of crackers and other snacks delivered through prime pantry last week. It was $10 to have it brought to the room, and they put it on the room folio. That does not include gratuity. Hope that helps you price it out! I think you can also go pick it up yourself from the convention's business center, but I am not sure what the cost would be.

If your package is delivered to the convention center's business office, you have to pay the handling fee whether you pick the package up yourself, or have them bring it to your room. (If you have them bring it to your room, you might decide to tip them. If you pick it up yourself, no tip involved.)

I gave the handling fee prices in an earlier post.

What a week. Arriving tomorrow to the YC for our long planned holiday, minus our reason for this trip :( Our party of 3 is now a party of 2.

My GS has broken one of his big toes in a very complicated way, damaging not only the bones but also the cuticle, nail bed & growth plate. An open fracture which was seen in the emergency department not once but twice since Friday & horribly mismanaged. He ended up with 2 plus hours of emergency surgery on Monday afternoon thus ending his trip.

He is crushed, I am gutted. His Aunt (DD2) and I will be checking in with heavy hearts.

But.... I have quickly swung into planning mode once again because I am determined to make it up to him. So.. we could very well find ourselves back at the YC (GS's fav Resort;) ) in early December for a few nights post 3 night Bahamas Disney Cruise... never a dull moment.

Hoping for a dramatic mood change once on the plane tomorrow! Oh what a week. grrrrr...

Oh, that is so awful! I am so sorry to hear this has happened to your GS! I do hope he will be right as rain very, very soon! Yes, definitely what you need is to begin planning a new trip for him to enjoy! :goodvibes

Ninja mom is just seen your countdown click. We go in 80 days. We are staying at Saratoga Springs but fingers are crossed that our BCV wait list will come thorough for DVC.

Hi everyone! My son and I are having a great time here. It is so hot here!!! I am used to April and Oct. Lol. We have lived in the park this trip and have done a lot of new stuff. Tomorrow we are heading to HS in the morning and then in the magical depress by 3pm. If anyone is headed there let me know. :-)

We are staying at POP this trip which has been perfect for the two of us, however every time the bus goes by the YC/BC exit, I get a little teary. Lol

Have a good night all!!

Thank you both. The planning is helping me feel better, will miss him this trip.. but we will have a new adventure to look forward to, just sooner then we thought. lol

Hi! We returned from our trip late Sunday night and I'm finally starting to not feel exhausted:crazy2: This was our first stay at BC and it was everything we hoped it would be! We're already planning for next year:cool1: We were in a LV daybed room on the 2nd floor overlooking the lake and it was such a beautiful view. I had requested a large balcony and did online check in. We arrived at 10am and our room was ready by 11. SAB was amazing, and we made a point to return each afternoon to spend at least a little time there. The food at the marketplace was really good and we had breakfast there on the run one day and sandwiches for lunch twice. We were all very impressed with the food quality. Beaches and cream was a little disappointing as the food was fine, but nothing special. My DDs did really enjoy the Mickey pants sundae though;) DH and I ate at Yachtsman and it was easily our favorite meal of the trip. We had great servers at almost all of our meals and the food quality was especially good this trip, but the Yachtsman really stood out for us in both the food and the service. The only disappointing meal of the trip was San Angel Inn. We will not be returning here anytime soon:sad2: We also enjoyed a relaxing breakfast at the Captain's Grille. The buffet was delicious and my DH had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were yummy. Just wanted to thank everyone here for all the info and advice:flower3: I felt really prepared and excited for this trip because of it:thumbsup2 Even though I'm a WDW vet, we'd never stayed in the Epcot area before and all of the tips here helped immensely::yes:: Thanks so much and we can't wait to get back!
