We are staying at the BC (first time) December 9th-12 in a CL Deluxe room before we go "home" to the WL. But monorailbob'sdd, I can tell you that on previous visits we have stayed at the WL CL in a deluxe room (also not on the CL floor) and we didn't find it too terribly bad. For us (a party of five) the extra room was more important than being able to step right into the lounge, but YMMV.

Well our first official pre meet meeting. Fire alarm.evacuated us at midnight. Just got back in our rooms. Mighty night

Oh my gosh, natebenma, hope you recovered the lost sleep! Same thing happened to us at the GV--the night before our wedding  We were up from 4 am...

Have fun! We will be there for the first time in December.

Staying Club Level. We're a party of five, so garden view wasn't bookable for us. The part that irks me is it's clearly a service area view, but the room description doesn't say anything about service areas with the SV (parking lot and rooftops is what I remember). Check out the worst room view thread and you'll get the general idea. I think it's the picture at the top of the last page.

They can move us tomorrow to a room that overlooks the front of the resort and parking area. I'm good with that. My oldest daughter who was having kittens about the view is now having kittens about moving. And my middle daughter is mad about her blue magic band which is the color she picked out. Ugh. I'm going to hit the pool bar early, I think.

Do you at least have a daybed? We are also a family of 5, and we were there last week and got a room without a daybed (5706). It had an ok view for standard, and a full balcony. However, the only spot in the room where the rollaway fit was in the doorway to the balcony. We could neither go out there, nor get close to the window to see any view at all. That room was quite a lot smaller than the SV with daybed we got last year.

Have the club concierge show you room and view pictures - we had the option to move to a room on the 2nd floor but still have club level access. That room had an awful view and would have been a pain to move to, so we opted to deal with what we got (especially it was only a 2 day stay).

Here since yesterday - got our request of first floor which was handy last night during evacuation. Our room has connecting door but adjoining room is out of commission currently. Seems like there is a fan running in it 24/7 which provides us with white noise. So far all is good.

But I agree with Scott - not loving FP+ yet

We arrive next week for our 12 day stay at the BC. We booked a standard view, requested either first floor or large balcony. Any chance we will get what is requested since we are staying for such a long time? 8/26 - 9/7.

Also, online check in or No? we will not arrive at resort until at least 9:00 pm or later...

Just wondering if anyone can tell me exactly how much the delivery fee is here. I arrive next week and I'm trying to price out if it is worth it to have water delivered. I am not looking to spend my time walking to a mini mart gas station either though. TIA!

We arrived at WDW on Friday night. We had sushi dinner at Kimonos and had our desserts at Beaches and Cream. We than checked into AKL for next 6 nights. Today was our Epcot day so we stopped by BC to say hello to Teena. :woohoo: It was so good to see her and we actually ran into Dee! :good vibes I can't make to the meet tonight since my mom's flight leaves at 8 and I have to drop her off at MCO. I can't wait until Thursday to check in to YC for our second part of the trip.

I've been MIA for a while! I can't wait to see pics from tonight's DIS meet!!!!! I'm sure the stories are going to be legendary!!!!! Have fun, don't get too sloshed on Sunken Treasures and good luck with your synchronized swim routine. A video of that would be great for Page 1 of this thread!

Enjoy tonight y'all!!!!!!

Thank you, all... for such wonderful information & helpful tips.

Our family of 4 has enjoyed previous stays at BC. Checking into YC for our first visit with them on October 14th!

My feet are killing me after two days on the dark side. See you tomorrow yatch Club. Woop. Woop. :cool1::cool1:

So I was sipping my last drink before my trip to MCO at Crew Cup yesterday afternoon and I heard someone order a Sunken Treasure! I knew it had to be someone from this thread and low and behold it was my friend Ninja Mom! We then ran over to give Teena a quick hug. Scott walked into the lobby at that moment so while I missed the official meet ( and Dee) we had a mini meet:cool1:

3 thoughts for the day.

1. I love Teena.
2. I love YC.
3. I. Hate. Fast. Pass. Plus.

It was great meeting you yesterday.. Sadly I was quickly immersed into reality today

We are here!!!! Checked in at the YC GV and rec'd an awesome upgrade to pool view with views of the Frozen fireworks OMG love it here!!!!!!!! :cloud9::love:
:woohoo: That sounds great. I would love an upgrade like that. ;)

Hello, everyone! We will be staying at the Boardwalk this Friday night before our Disney Fantasy cruise and we are hoping to book the bounceback offer to stay at the Beach Club next August. I am trying to decide between a standard club level room and a deluxe club level room. We are a family of 5, my girls will be 17, 14, and 10 at the time we travel. I like the extra space of the deluxe rooms but I do not like that they are not on the same floor as the lounge. I am also surprised to read that some do not have full balconies. With the standard club level rooms, I like that they are all on the 5th floor but I know very few have the daybed which may mean having to get a rollaway. I also hate that they have roof top and parking lot views. For those who are familiar, which would you pick in our situation? Is the space in the deluxe room that much greater? Are the views that much better? Was it a pain not to be on the same floor as the lounge? Thanks in advance for your help!
You'll have more space in a deluxe and the separate area would be really nice for a family of five. Those club level rooms with the dormer balcony are smaller than a regular resort room and I would hate to have to add a roll away to that room.

We like online check in because it makes regular check in go smoother and faster. Your room will be assigned ahead of time whether you do online check in or not. I don't think that there are any first floor standard view rooms. But hopefully you get the full balcony.

They have cases of water at the marketplace for sixteen dollars I think

That's awesome!!!!!! So glad you had a mini-meet yesterday!

So we are back from the meet. What a blast with a great group of people! We actually just got back from the after meet dinner. There are pictures and they will be posted, hopefully over the weekend. They are not on my camera.

So great to see you too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meet and dinner afterwards with 12 great friends was fantastic. Less fantastic was my drive home ... it took me over two hours to go 31 miles. So here I am up at 1:30 AM.

And tomorrow another mini-meet at the Southwest Terminal at the airport ... Rebecca, her Mom, Dee and I will all be there at the same time!!!!!

Off to bed.
