Mike brought home that KFC chicken pack tonight. Guess what, it comes with a chocolate cake. Chocolate Cake is my main weakness. So far the container is sitting on my counter unopened. It has sat there 4 hours. Now if I can make it through to the morning, I will send it to Mike's work. Please pray for me. I need more than my willpower to get through.

It would be okay if I could stop at one piece, but not with chocolate cake. I forget what they call it in WW, but it is basically a no no to bring it in the house if you can not control yourself.

Put it in the freezer...out of sight out of mind. They can defrost it tomorrow at work.

Chocolate cake is one of my weaknesses too.;)

You're right about that.
But at least you won't see it (hear it calling maybe LOL)

OMG ROBIN!!!

My Husband did the SAME THING! And, it's still sitting there waiting to be opened. This is too funny! I am sure Sarah will open it soon. :(

We can do this!!

(but, it looks soooooooooooo good!! )

Robin!!

They just had a piece and said it was REALLY dry! :teeth:

(somehow I feel like they were just trying to make me feel better LOL!)

Not so sound gross but just think, it's poop!! ;)

That is a Pepperidge Farm cake, so it is HORRIBLE. Now if it were a Sara Lee cake.......................

LOL

;)

You can do it Robin!!!! I have 4 dozen Krispy Kreme sitting on my table!!!! Thank Goodness they are going with Dh to work tomorrow or else at wigh in I would be 300lbs!!!!!

I was in Jiminy's position with Krispy Kreme's this past weekend and I survived.....So, I'll send you extra Pixie Dust to help you survive

there's a HAIR in it as well......... PUT IN IT YOUR HUBBY"S CAR- you'll forget all about it!

Okay...here is what you do.....Take the cake out of the box or container...place it in the sink.....Turn water on very fast.

Go ahead...give it a really good blast of nice tap water...Hurry up..don't think about it...JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

You will thank me later!!! LOL

Tracy

I know I tell everyone to do this...but it works for me...I would eat around the hair...sitting in my DH car if I HAD TOO!!! LOL

I just made my dd whose turning 11 tomorrow a chocolate birthday cake. Actually i made two cakes tonight because my ding dong (at this moment.LOL) husband took the cake out and let it cool and it stuck somewhat (was'nt perfect okay) so i am gonna patch that one up and send it to our shop with confetti icing on it tomorrow. But the party tomorrow night will be hard. Lucky for me for the most part she has requested supper we all like. Steak, baked potatoe, corn on cob, and steam brocolli. Then cake and ice cream of course. I can deal with the cake cause i like it warm with cold milk. After that sucker cools off i'm all most 99.9% turned off. So you have some good suggestions mine is put in the husband's car and forget it. You can do it!

Is this anything like having a Wocket in your Pocket? ;)

You have the power to resist the cake. The cake has no power over you!!! :) Good luck!!!!

This cake thread is pretty funny. I don't know why but DD (17), 5'6" 100lbs, decided to make a cake on Sunday evening ... for no reason (she NEVER cooks)- so here's the smell of cake baking wafting thru the house and both DH and I dieting! She frosted it and then.... nothing - covered it w/ foil into the fridge and left it there - not a bite eaten!!! It sat there for us to look at until Wednesday night - we said... Jill, why don't you take it to school for choir....? NO. Why don't you take it to a friend's house when you go watch a movie....No. FINALLY on Weds. evening - she was off at church youth group and my DH said.... I'm taking that cake over there to church! So he did, along with napkins and paper plates and plastic spoons... a few hours later the cake pan came home EMPTY!!!!! That cake was so tempting and we aren't even sweets eaters - DH doesn't even like cake - but it was driving us nuts! We knew if we had even one piece, one taste we'd eat the whole thing even tho we really didn't like it. I guess the foil helped - we coundn't see the cake - we just knew it was there!

Well I am at work and the chocolate cake is not open. :bounce: :bounce: I left DH instructions to take it to work with him. I hope he listens. Thanks for all the support (and laughs).

I see you made it through a crisis with the help of your WISH friends. I wasn't here to help, sorry :(

I would have put that cake on the seat of my husbands car, last night. That way he couldn't forget to take it with him in the morning and I wouldn't be able to see it. That would be such torture to have to look at a chocolate cake all evening.

You are good at this weight loss stuff, Robin. Look how determined you are. I'm proud of you :)

Oh my Robin. You're SUCH A LOSER!!! WAY TO GO GIRL!!!
