O.K. SO I've looked at some of the Deluxes that can accomodate our family of 5 and I've decided on the Contemporary!!!! Based on the prices now, and I know that they can increase slightly, but it will cost $2600 for 8 nights. So!
$2600 room
+$1500 tickets

= $4100

So in a perfect world I'd have to save $341/mo to have the package paid for. We'll see. I'll do the best that I can.
Anyone have any experience with the Contemporary? I'll have to pop over to that thread and see how it is. The rooms are quite big. 422 sq ft!

Wow!! Staying in a resort where you can WALK to Magic Kingdom. I say that a dream come true

Your could eating a lot a meals at "Chef's Mickeys"
What made you choose the Contemorary? Are there other deluxes that have room for 5?

If I could choose a deluxe, and not worry about price, I would like to try the Wilderness Lodge.

Can you put a depoist down before the prices go up? I'll keep my eyes on a look out for codes/pins for you.

I hope you are getting some rest, that's is alot of hours for working part time. I work 4 days a week, 32 to 35 hrs. at my work anything over 30hrs is fuul time. I have to work 30hr to have insurance.

Dale and I would love to stay in the Contemporary. I want to do a vow renewal, at Disney, for our 25th anniversary and I want to stay there. I told Dale that is what I want to do and he said "what's wrong with the vows we took when we first got married? I didn't know they expired"...........

I know!!! How great would it be to be able to walk to MK!!!! I'll tell you how great! I picked the CR because of the size of the room. It's like 400+ sq ft and has a daybed. I don't really care if I have a MK view or not. I looked into the Wilderness Lodge/Villas. Some of the studios are smaller than a CR room.
Yes, you can put a deposit down before rates come out. You'll just have to pay the difference. Thank you for looking for codes. I still need to go over to the 2010 thread and CR thread. Just not enough time in the day.

I did have a wonderful day!!! I hope you enjoyed yourself too! Sometimes I'd like to not have to DO anything on Mother's Day, but then my mother reminded me that you're still a mother on mother's day. I just want a day of no arguing and bickering.

Hope you had a good one. I did My daughters cleaned out my flower beds for me as a surprise and brought me 2 rose bushes Hubby took me out for breakfast And I got the cutest picture of Landen

Yeah, I am working quite a bit. I have am scheduled 29 hrs this week and then my sup said I could work more. SO, yay me!!!

I believe that you abbreviate the Cont. as CR (Contemporary Resort). So there, from now on it's the CR.

Hi Grace!! Things here are just insane! I usually get off of work at 1:30, but then I come home and sit down for a minute and then get going into other things. By the time nighttime comes, I'm beat and the kids are using the computer.
The only news that I have is that DH is going to DL in next weekend, for TWO days!!! Jerk!!! I've already given him one souvie order. I want some lights to go around my patio umbrella. And then my next order will be, a magnet, a keychain, and a pin. I want the kids to get a t-shirt. Maybe a pen or two. Oh, and maybe a picture frame. I will have to tell him to take a picture of himself in front of the castle or with a character. So many things. I still need to sit down and look at the threads. I'm off work tomorrow at 12, so I'll be on here for a while.

OOOOhhhh Mickey bling!!! I never thought about that... He's going for my niece's wedding in San Diego on the 30th, and then they will drive back to L.A. for two days. He's only gone from Fri morning to Tue afternoon. Still, it's a nice getaway with his sister. I LOVE her!!
I don't think that age has anything to do with falling asleep as soon as you sit down. I almost did that today! I had to get up from the computer, because I was falling asleep.
