We got our ADR's too

Hey Lisa - I haven't forgotten about you. Great job with the ADRs! Are you just eating at CP to get in early? We ate there early in Feb and it was great. If you're going just to see the characters, we somehow got seated in the midst of them doing their "rounds" so we waited FOREVER to see Eeyore (like seriously 20 minutes). Had the boys not asked, we'd have left and got on with the morning!I love having the empty Main Street
And I have something I'm going to post on my Feb TR to get you in the mood for your breakfast at CP (hint: it's something you can make from the kid buffet!)

Thanks pmama!!! I see that you added a cruise ticker to your siggie!! That'll be a lot of fun! And, it's almost time for your Disneyland trip!Congratulations on getting your ADRs.Ditto what everyone said about your early ADR for CP. I know when we entered early for CRT the girls felt a bit like Royalty passing all the people waiting at the entrance and getting to enter an empty MK!
Just got off the phone with Dining and it only took 45 minutes!!! Okay, so my ADRs aren't that exciting but I'll share. We aren't doing any dining plans, so paying out of pocket and with a family of 4 adult meals and one child, it can get a little pricey for us. So without further adoui (not a French speaker)...
June 19 Tonys Town Square @ 2:05 p.m.
June 20 Crystal Palace @ 8:15 a.m.

I'm so excited for the breakfast at CP!!! It's an NON-early morning extra magic hours day, so we'll be there before park opening!!! I was so nervous that I wouldn't be able to get an 8ish ressie. I had 4 dates, and I only gotten to my second date and I got the reservation that I wanted.
As London Tipton would say "Yay ME!!!"
DAGNABIT!!!! That would've been so cool!!! A DIS meet with awesome people. But, Hey! We still might see each other during our stay. I'll really have to study pictures of people so that I can be on the look out.Congratulations! And guess what? Em and I will be having breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:15 AM the day before you!! I got really excited and went to look at our schedule becasue I thought it might be the same day, but no. You're gonna love walking down an almost empty Main Street!!
Awww thank Grace! I hope that you get yours when the time comes. For Tonys Town square @2:05 On June 19

So, I want to know what souveniers do you like to buy when you are at the World?? That's my question of the day.
So, I want to know what souveniers do you like to buy when you are at the World?? That's my question of the day.
You are not a bad DISfriend! You're just busy with your life!Hey lady!!!
I was just thinking about you and how I have been a bad disfriend!!
Well, my favorite thing to buy used to be the cute pair of pajamas they sold at MK. They were so cute! It was a tank top with shorts and the shorts had a character and the top would just say something. I have pink and the top says, Princess and the bottoms had Aurora on them. I also have grey and the top said, Wicked and the bottoms had the evil queen on them! I loved those!!
But, now my favorite souvenir to get is anything with tinkerbell!! lol!! I do collect the charms from tinkerbells treasures. I have made Hollie a bracelet and I love to add to it!
Those are on my list too! I didn't get enough of them last trip, plus they get so dirty and gross!antenna toppers!Cheap, easy to collect, and soo cute.
Postcards are a great thing to get. I've even seen people put postcards in frames.Good morning
I like the question of the day!!
I like to collect postcards on any trip I go on. I like to send them too!
and they a great to use in my scrapbooks
My favorite WDW souvenier is silver charms. I had a charm bracelet as a young girl and loved it. My charms remind of special times at WDW, i have a cinderalla slipper,( for daughter engagment at castle) a mickey (for 1st meeting) a castle , a MOM with a blue mickey head brought by the daughter for taking them on the trip.( the blue is for Landen) I'm looking forward to adding to it in Sept.
Looking forward to the next question on the day![]()
Hi Grace! That book sounds like just what we need. Maybe I can find it on Amazon. Yes, we will take I-75. We've thought about I-77, but I think it will add a lot of hours to our trip.making a list is a good idea
I too think of all the souviners I like to buy and then get home an don't have the things I wanted. Must be all the excitment of being a WDW, that causes the mind to wander
Lisa,I just got home from library and found a book called
"Along Interstate 75" by Dave Hunter
It about I-75 from Detroit to Florida, it a mile by mile guide to the route, showing every gas food and lodging and roadside adventure.I know I-75 runs near Toledo, but I don't know what route you are taking, I don't think it going to help me because my husband said if we drive it will be I-77. Look like a interesting read though. Maybe I be able to find one for I-77
Keep you figures crossed for us that "free dining " gets released, there a "rumor' that it might be happening starting March 30th ( for trip in Sept)
I hope you have a good day
Grace
Ohhhh that's a good idea! Some of those pins are one of a kind! I made the mistake, in 2007, and bought an off-white zip hoodie. Well, off white shows all the stains on the cuffs, no matter how much I spray stain stuff on them.I like to buy the latest DVC and AP pins along with something like an epcot shirt, jacket or beach towel.....
MMMM!!! Sound delish!! I wish that I could say that I'm eating there for the character, but I'm REALLY want to get there early. We've never done that. And honestly when we made our reservations, on our previous trips, we didn't want early reservations. I know we weren't thinking about walking down Main Street without all of the massive crowds. I've learned so much in the last two years from being on the DIS, that I didn't know before. (I thought I knew a lot before) My oldest two are 17 and 15, so they're not interested in the characters anymore. Abby, I'm not sure about. We'll still take pictures, of course.
SO, I've actually started a list of souveniers that I want to buy. I've never made a list, but thought it would be a good idea because I ususally forget what I wanted to get when I get there!I know, it's scary!!!
I've taken ideas from others TR's and I have a pretty good list so far.
I definately want to make T-Shirts down at the new store in DTD
I want to get an ornament for each kid. DH and I thought that we should start a collection of their own. And, we always get an ornament for our tree.
Then, there's the dog stuff. With a dog named Lilo and a dog named Disney, how could we not get a Disney themed name tag!
I ususally get a picture frame.
I want to take the idea someone had about using pins in place of poster pins for my kitchen cork board.
And, as pmama said, antenae toppers.
We'll be there on Fathers Day, so I have to think of something to do there for DH. I'm thinking ESPN Club. Have I said that before???
