oohhh, Shepherds Pie, sounds yummy, such a comfort food for me. We have an Irish Pub here that serves it and I promise you it comes out molded looking like a 6 inch round cake!

yup, yup, yup ditto everything you said about POR foodcourt. My kids did like the burgers well enough. We are that family who always orders an extra bun ($.89) so DD12 and DS15 won't have to touch each others food (sigh) Kicked up some dust over it over on another thread that the moderater finally closed! Some funny commments over there though, I thouroughly enjoyed reading it!

DH said same thing about the fish and chips.

Next time you will have to remember to just grab your dessert and go and stick it in your room fridge. You were much more generous then I think I would have been. DH likes them to know he's not a bad tipper (under 10%) or that he forgot (nothing $0) he likes them to know his tip is a reflection of their poor service. ($1) or once a nice shiney Nickle! I was so mortified! So how were the Margaritas?! Nice night cap after such a loooonnngg day!

Great report! Glad Tink enjoyed the pool! Did you guys get refillable mugs? How did that work out?

We are going to try Raglan Rd for our firsttime this Mayand are very excited. Hopefully our service will be better - I would have been livid !

Just got back from my trip. I'm so glad the plane trip went well. Glad you and DH got some together time. Too bad the service was bad at Raglan Road. We ate there on this trip and service was good (but we ate at 4 pm )

Sorry guys, life has been crazy. Today is the first day in over a week I actually dont have to run like crazy just to get everything done.

DL55- Glad you had good service at Raglan Road. We ate around 9pm and it was really busy, maybe thats why our service wasnt great. Glad you had a great trip!

Kileybeth- I bought one refillable mug- Tigger is using it right now and Tink bought herself one. She refuses to share drinks with us, fine, she can spend her own money. She loved hers at the resort but here at home, its sitting in a cabinet, no use from Tink.

Now for the update...

As I mentioned earlier, I had planned this entire trip. I knew what we would do and when. I had intended to be at the park opening each day and ride rides in a specific order. I had even subscribed to Tourguide Mike and got help from several planning guru’s over there. Of course, my family had other plans. Today our plan was to have breakfast at Ohana and head to Hollywood Studios. Our wake up call came at 6:00 am and DH hung up on Mickey! I couldn’t believe it. He didn’t even listen, he just took the phone off the hook and put it back on. Now if that isn’t a sin, I don’t know what is! Then he promptly informed me that we were not waking up our children, that they would wake up when they were ready. I couldn’t go back to sleep, so I got up and showered. As I got ready, I made as much noise as possible, hoping to wake the children. We had a 7:45 ADR for Ohana and I wasn’t going to miss it. Tink was the next to wake up, she got ready and turned on the lights and television. I nudged Tigger gently and whispered to Lilo that if she got out of bed and got ready we would go see stitch. Of course, she was up instantly. Tigger took a bit longer but finally he was up. Dh was being lazy so Tigger and Lilo jumped on him and made him get out of bed. Everyone ganged up on Dh for hanging up on Mickey and then we were on our way. The taxi arrived at 7:15, would we make our 7:35 reservation?

Ha! This sounds like me on Christmas morning. To this day! And I'm 28!

Hung up on Mickey?! He deserved to be pushed out of bed.

oh my goodness! called a taxi? was that on the plan?

I sure hope you made 'ohanas for breakfast, fabulous! when we stayed POLY CL (free upgrade) they served "POG" juice in the lounge each morning. My DS5 was addicted. He was so upset the morning we checked out that we didn't go to the lounge for breakfast. He could not understand we were going to have breakfast at 'ohanas. . .long story short. He cried through our photo op, cried at the table while we were getting seated, then the waitress talked to him and we explained what was wrong. well low and behold out comes glasses of POG juice for everyone at the table and DS5 got his own personal piture full of juice. Disney Magic!

The taxi was tentatively in the plan, but only if the busses werent available that early. Sadly, it wasnt the busses with the problem, it was us.

I can imagine how crazy Ohana must have been with an unhappy child. Lucky you, getting to stay CL. That must have been an awesome experience. I am thinking we will stay at either beach club or Poly our next trip.

I hate to admit that I have been one of those that have hung up on Mickey before. I know a complete sin but we had worn ourselves out and way over schedules. Bythe end of that vacation all we wanted to do was sleep !

Trentmom- I was frazzled, nervous and a little ticked at my hubby for screwing up my plans.

Missladybug- This was our first day! How could he hang up on Mickey?!?!

Bonnagirl- We had ADRs for all our TS restaurants. Things did go a bit crazy but I assume its all pretty normal with three kids in tow.

We raced through the grounds of POR and finally made it to our taxi. I was irritated and frazzled, not the best way to start the morning. Lilo and Tink were both wide awake and talking excitedly the whole taxi ride. Tigger kept talking about our plans for the day. Tigger is on the autism spectrum so we continued to go through our plans again and again. It is a necessary part of life for Tigger. We arrived at Ohana just in the nick of time. I ran up and told them we were here for our reservation and we were seated in minutes. Our waitress came out and as she was explaining Ohana, Lilo piped up and told her thats why Ohana was her favorite restaurant, because Ohana means family and she enjoyed celebrating her family. We all agreed with Lilo that our family is definitely something to celebrate. As we were seated, Lilo told them that we were celebrating Tiggers birthday this week and also celebrating Tigger joining our family. She said she would make sure he got a birthday card but they didnt celebrate adoption at Ohana. Lilo told her adoption was the most important celebration, because there are no birthdays without family that are worth having. At this point, the food began to arrive. The food was delicious, fruit, waffles, eggs, and that wonderful juice (cant remember what they call it but man was it good) Finally, Lilo and Stitch began to visit tables. All Tigger wanted was Mickey. He was so excited to be meeting Mickey Mouse. First, Stitch came to our table and then Lilo, The kids got a quick pic with each before they moved on. Then Pluto scared me. He put his nose in my ear and I didnt realize he was behind me, of course, the kids laughed like crazy as I jumped and turned around face to face with Pluto's nose. Then it was time for the big cheese himself. The moment Tigger saw him, his eyes lit up, his smile was priceless. He could barely stand it as he watched Mickey greet the other children around the room. I had to continually remind him to wait his turn. Finally Mickey made his way to our table and Tigger gave him the biggest hug. Ohana was getting busy by this point so we decided to go ahead and go to Hollywood Studios.

Great pictures! I'm so glad that your breakfast wasn't messed up. Sounds like Tigger was handling things pretty well.
