30 Day Disney Photography Challenge - Day 2

A picture of the character you're most like:




I am most like Tinker Bell. This picture is a screen shot of one of the wallpapers on my phone - that is how much I love her! Well, I haven't gotten to use it yet because I want to save it for when my family and I are on vacation in WDW. Only 143 more days to go!

I feel that I'm most like Tinker Bell because she is kind and generous, but she is also hot-headed and has a bit of a mouth on her! She's playful and inventive, but she knows when it's time to get down to business and always gets the job done. She loves to help people, but she doesn't always want to accept help unless that is her only option. Also, based on the first Tinker Bell movie, they implied that she was one of a few women in a male dominated field! So am I! My boss' boss' boss is a woman though - and so is Tink's! There is a possibility to move up if Tink and I just work hard enough!

30 Day Disney Photography Challenge - Day 3

A picture of your favorite Disney memory:




I really can't pick a favorite memory at Disney World because I have so many, but this picture captures one of my favorites. I took this on our last trip in 2009 at MVMCP. It was our first night in the parks and the perfect way to start off our vacation. We rode a few rides, saw Mickey and Minnie dressed as Mr. and Mrs. Claus, went to a character party, and saw a couple of shows. After the show with Stitch, the "snow" started falling! Coy and True loved playing in the snow and I was lucky enough to snap a picture at the perfect moment to capture that priceless expression on Coy's face!

A picture of how you know you’re in Disney:





I thought of this picture right away when I saw today’s theme. True is a very lovey dovey type of kid and is always hugging all over her family and friends – even her brother. Coy on the other hand is lovey dovey with me but rarely hugs family and even less often, his own sister. So I know we are in Disney when I see him hugging her because he’s so full of joy when we’re there, he just can’t help but to share the love!

A picture of your least favorite Disney ride or attraction:



Primeval Whirl. I didn't take this picture. I borrowed it from wdwinfo. Why haven't I ever taken a picture of this ride? Because I can't stand it! Why? I mean, it looks like fun! It looks like a Wild Mouse ride at the carnival! Well, let me tell you, it's not! the kids and I did like it at first, but then it started banging us around in the car and we all left the ride with sore hips! Nah, I'll pass on this ride next time!

30 Day Disney Photography Challenge - Day 6

A picture of something you've never seen/ridden in the parks:



Liberty Square Riverboat. Actually, I'm cheating with this one because I have ridden this, but it was back when I was around 13 or 14 and my mom pretty much ruined the experience by complaining the whole time. Granted, she was pregnant and cranky, but it colored the way I felt about the ride. So I want to take my kids on this ride on our next trip. I think it'll be a nice break from the crowds that are sure to be there in June!

30 Day Disney Photography Challenge - Day 7

A picture of your favorite in-park character:



This is a three-way tie between Cinderella's stepsisters - Anastasia and Drizella - and her stepmother - Lady Tremaine! They are just hilarious with Lady Tremaine playing straight man against the girls' antics! If I remember correctly, Lady Tremaine told True to stand up straight and look dignified or something, which is why True is making that face! She has the same expression as Lady Tremaine in this picture! Anastasia and Drizella were just outrageous when we saw them and I cannot wait to see them again! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I can get Coy to propose to one of the sisters! I also must get the sisters to serenade us with "Sing Sweet Nightingale"

I know that this picture has made quite a few appearances on this PTR but I can't help it! I love it! True's "Terror Face" is priceless, Coy looks like he's too cool to be scared and I look like I got a botched face lift! I absolutely love this picture and it is the one ride photo I actually purchased - just because I had to have the picture the Terror Face my poor 5 year old made! Three years later, I still crack up every time I see it and that is why Expedition Everest is the ride I miss the most! It was the first thrill ride I was able to go on with my kids
