TheNeverEndingPTR! Sept2010...no, November...WAIT! January?Ugh. maybe September 2011!

Hey there! I've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm trying to catch up! What did I miss? Love the Pirates theme party - I can't believe you had all that in your house.

Oh, you'll be interested in this - I'm looking at DSLRs - I told Scott that's what I wanted for my birthday. I'll probably get a refurb. What do you have again? And let me know if you are still thinking about getting rid of it!

Hey Rebecca! You haven't missed much, since everything is planned out and I'm waiting to see if we'll have the funds for the trip!

I have a Nikon D40. I would love to sell it to you, BUT (and it's a big one) I don't have the money to get a new camera myself, so that is all up in the air too. BOO. :sad2:

Monday, Hope & I are doing a Disney Easter theme instead of a movie and doing an egg hunt for the kids. I'll post pics for sure! :)

I updated myself on your thread as well, I just haven't had anything productive to say, so I'm just lurking! Me, speechless, go figure!

Disney Easter movie day?!?!? :confused3

Ok, we didn't do a movie, we decided to just do an egg hunt and there was barely any Disney even mentioned! *gasp* There's not much to say while waiting for Free dining, which Hope and I both agree won't come out until the end of the month at least.

So, Easter theme! And, we threw a little mickeyhead in there to make sure Disney wasn't forgotten. :p Hope got some really cute stuff for the table!

Me trying to get a more unique shot...

Egg hunt in the back yard was apparently too easy until it got too hard. After the girls found all the easy ones (telling us the whole time how they were too easy) then they pouted when they couldn't find the remaining 5. Hope & I couldn't help b/c we couldn't remember where we put them!

I tried my hand at panning for motion...and failed! :p

Next week is Mulan and China! :goodvibes

Nice Easter Egg hunt. Very colorful pics! We had an outdoor egg hunt this weekend as well, It was around 80 degrees! :goodvibes

I think the panning shot is cool! How did some of those eggs get spackled? Are they real ones that you colored or fake?

They were all fake eggs, the real ones I made into deviled eggs!

Oh man, I've got an itch I can't scratch! I was reading another TR (Kathy's) and she had an article from 2007 when she ran a 5K at WDW and I want to do that SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!! What makes it worse is that there IS a 5K in MK the morning of 10/2, the day we are supposed to leave. I don't think after a week of WDW I could do it though, I would be so worn out, AND we had MNSSHP planned for the previous night.

Great pictures! I love the running one. I mean, I know nothing about pictures, but I love it nonetheless! Glad you had a fun egg-hunt day.

Now, for the real question...how do you make deviled eggs? :lmao: I've got a fridge full of hardboiled eggs and I need something to do with them!

I think running after a week of disney would be the true test of how crazy you are. Sorry, did I say crazy? I meant "in shape". Right. In shape. At the end of a disney vacation I can barely drag myself to the airplane.

I think your panning shot is pretty good. :thumbsup2

I think you should do the 5k in Rolla on the 4th of July to help you scratch that itch.

Yep, I think I will do the 5K on the 4th in Rolla...but, get this, I just busted my big toe on the sidewalk (it was uneven and I walked right into it) and it's bleeding and the nail is ripped. I immediately got upset b/c I knew I wouldn't be able to run tomorrow.

Well, that's okay, I totally understand about the money issue - that's why I'm only looking at used or (preferably) refurbished cameras. So, what do you not like about your camera? And what would you upgrade to, if you could, and why? I still can't figure out what I want, and I'm waffling between Nikon and Canon.

You didn't fail! That's tough to do, and I think it looks pretty good!

Rebecca, if I had to choose, I would upgrade to a Nikon D90. What I don't like about my D40 is that there are only 3 focal points. Many camera's have 6-9. It's not a deal breaker, but something I would like. I LOVE my camera, so that's really the biggest issue. I would go to a store and HOLD the camera's and that is what you should make your final choice on! Nikon and Canon are both top of the line.

GAH!!! Disney, WHY must you play with me so?!?!?!? :sad2:

Some of the Sept. hours have changed, and Saturday the 25th, our arrival day has changed as well. I had trouble finding a way to get to Spectromagic, so I had planned to do MK just for Spectro and Wishes on our arrival night. Well, no more b/c they are now closing at 7pm (MNSSHP on a saturday in Sept????) so we have either Sunday (EMH PM, but NO Spectro), Monday (WAY too busy for my taste) or Wednesday (pretty late on in the trip for our first visit to MK). I don't like ANY of these choices. Sigh. Not sure what I'll do, I'm leaning towards Sunday and just skipping Spectro this trip, I'm not really wanting to shell out 200$ to get hoppers and see Spectro.

oh no! I normally love planning ahead. This trip, all things seem to be going wrong!

Because, apparently, we are abnormal in that fact that we plan ahead this much! They are only messing a small population of Disney goers! :lmao:

I noticed slight changes in the hours the week we are going. They must be switching MNSSHP to a Saturday like you said--otherwise, why would they close on a Saturday at 7:00? Perhaps they feel like they will be able to get more locals to come on a Saturday than a Friday.

Ok, disaster averted.

I changed things, although I couldn't get an ADR on our arrival night for RFC, so I just kept it on Tuesday night.

All I did was switch our MK and AK days. It still means that we're going to MK on a EMH evening, which will mean it's busier, but we'll have our GAD fastpasses and I think we'll be ok. I think I might even like this itinerary better and Savannah will be overjoyed that we're going to MK first, even if it is on a busier day. Here is the revised itinerary if you have too much time and nothing to do but read it!

The final, final, final itinerary

Me, I'm off to grab all the things I can and have a last minute garage sale tomorrow morning!

I knew you'd figure it out. ;)

I hope your GS goes well! I wish I had a place to have one w/o hauling all of my stuff somewhere.

Nope, I want to do it WITHOUT having to haul all of my stuff over to someone else's house. Since my house isn't a good place I just give up, lol.
