... and I hope you meant it. Other readers, please know I'm just trying to do my part to keep Karen sane until her trip (and because she asked me to do this).
Karen, those pictures of the tea party were great! You are so creative, and I'm sure your kids appreciate that creativity as it helps with their education!
I'm glad you're getting your plans figured out!
Here are some highlights of the trip thus far:

Yesterday was pretty busy at the Magic Kingdom. We rode some rides and got out of there around 4:00. We rested until 6:30ish, when we headed back out for Wishes and dinner.
Here are some of my favorite fireworks shots from Wishes last night:
It was pretty crowded, but I'm glad we made the trip over before dinner!
Dinner was delicious! The table had been decorated for my birthday, and our server, Jose, gave me a complimentary piece of cake complete with a lit candle!
We headed to DHS today. It started off cloudy and was a bit chilly, but it was a great morning!
DHS was empty!
We saw a Streetmosphere performer giving us a great show of her skills as a dramatic actress:
Her friend was quite enamored with her!
We used our GAD vouchers today.
I turned mine in at the Will Call window after bag check but before the turnstiles. It was an easy process, and they give you a piece of paper explaining how to use it. We ended up riding TSM 5 times (2 times in standby before 10, twice with the GAD FPs, and once with a regular FP with our APs). We rode RnRC twice (standby and regular FP) and ToT twice (standby). The lines were all super short! One note - Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Star Tours weren't giving out FPs. They are both Daisy attractions, so essentially our Daisy rides were moot with the GAD FP. I went to Guest Relations and asked (we had gotten a Star Tours FP thinking we'd at least get to skip the line even though they weren't giving out regular FPs that day; no doing. They told us we'd do the regular line.). So even redeeming them and giving them away wouldn't work. I went to Guest Relations and asked; they graciously gave me a replacement ToT set of FPs. I actually meant for them to give me 3 sets since we couldn't use any of the Daisy set, but oh well. They said they couldn't give me any for TSM, so we opted for ToT. It doesn't expire till the 15th, so we saved it for when we're there next this trip in case the lines are longer that day.
We had lunch at Toy Story - one of my favorites. It was such a leisurely morning. The temps were in the high 60s with a breeze, so we weren't hot, and the lines were next-to-nothing, so we had time to stop and watch the performers without me thinking the lines were growing unreasonably somewhere in the park. It was very refreshing!
We ran into a Streetmosphere actor doing some magic tricks on Hollywood Blvd. He selected me to participate at one point, and it was really funny! He was using a great New Joisey accent and asked me to select a magic word, so the first thing that popped out of my mouth was "please." He razzed me for that, asking if I was a teacher (I'm a counselor). He had another lady use my magic word and 4 coins in one row would split into two and two, three and one, etc. across the table from one another while his hands covered them. It was great! Then he had me hold my hand out "like you do when you're about to get a wad of cash". Again, he teased me at how quickly I put my hand out to hold the coins. Anyway, he put 3 coins in my hand while he held onto the 4th. Magically, the 4th coin appeared in my hand! I have NO IDEA how he did that, but it was fun. He said he even amazed himself at that trick! He said, "I bet YOU didn't even know you were this good, didja?" I responded, "No, but I'm not surprised." He got a kick out of that, as did the rest of the people standing there! I felt pretty good to be able to improv with him. He was great, so we got my picture taken with him after he wrapped it up.
We came back to the room and rested. We headed back out to DTD around 6:15. Dinner was at Wolfgang Puck Express - very good and a nice change from typical counter service! We shopped at World of Disney and bought my niece a lovely Princess Tiana dress. I ran into someone who works at the college I work at while waiting in line at the info desk at WoD - such a small world! We also got some goodies at Goofy's Candy Company. Tomorrow we head to Epcot and are having dinner at Chef Mickey's! I'll be sure to post an update at some point. Tomorrow the Flower and Garden Festival opens, and I'm THRILLED to get a chance to take more flower shots. Even if it's chilly (expected to hit just 60), I'm hoping for sun for nice photos.
Well, that's it for me for tonight. I am going to a TR at some point (might not start it until we get home); I'm giving you the bare bones here, but I'd love to share more, so I'll do a TR for that. I'll post a link when I start it!
ETA: In case you care, here's the video from yesterday morning of me finding out where we were headed for this trip. The mic on my camera is pretty sensitive, so turn your sound down some before hitting play! I don't always sound that way (and boy is the double chin up-and-at-'em that morning!

), but this will show you my excitement! I promise - I am an adult and can maintain a modicum of decorum when needed):
