I knew you would appreciate this - my sister DID bring me to Disney! We are sitting in our room right now at the Boardwalk after spending the morning and afternoon at the Magic Kingdom. I thought of when we rode Haunted Mansion today; you'll be here soon! Don't give up the dream even though things are tight right now!

Karen, I know - she's SOOOOO generous! She and my cousin own DVC, so my cousin booked the room with her points and my sister is paying her back with her points (this was so that I wouldn't mysteriously see points when I logged in under her DVC account for future trips). I will certainly take pictures - we're also doing videos! It was gorgeous today! Tonight we're going to California Grill - my favorite restaurant on property! We're going to Wishes (if not Spectro, too), and I have no idea about tomorrow. I won't know until the night before what we're doing the next day (except I know we're headed to MK on Friday, and I'll have a surprise for you....). We're here until Saturday; our flight leaves at 7, so we have almost all day on Saturday.

I *MIGHT* do a TR about the trip. I'd like to say I will, but I don't want to commit and then fail to follow through. She said we have a few ADRs - again, I don't know where! I promise not to hijack your PTR (all the more reason to do a TR at some point).

Anyway, thanks for being so excited! I'll be thinking good thoughts and praying that you can keep the September trip afloat!

I'm full of exclamation points for you tonight!!! alright, I did not intend to, but I just sat here and read the entire thing! Luckily, the baby napped, and did not seem to mind sitting on my lap trying to drink out of an empty cup while I finished up!

Your family is beautiful! Even the sullen boys. They look like they have the "teenager" part down. I loved that they caved a little in the christmas photos and showed smiles!

I love love love your movie days. Where do you get all your activities...are they from the disney website? DS is 3 and just starting to get into "workbook" type things. Any suggestions where I can get some? I picked up some at the dollar store, but I think he's a little advanced for them, and he loves them so much that he's going to be done with them by the end of the week, so I need something free!

I don't remember what else I wanted to comment on, but I loved reading it! Can't wait to read more! At least I have your TR to read while I wait!

I cannot believe you read the whole thing!!!!! The Trip report will take more time, I rambled forever!!!! (and complained quite a bit too!)

I get a lot of the printouts and activities on disneyfamily.com. For the activity books, I usually just do a search on worksheets, crosswords, and word searches and then throw in a couple coloring pages!

Yes, we had a very busy weekend! We brought my Mom to the airport on Saturday for her month-long trip to Florida. Oh....if only it were me.......

Then on Sunday, Victoria wanted a Mama & Me day without Peter, so it was just her and I. I stayed home from work today, though. I just don't feel quite right. I still have my sinus issues, but my stomach also decided to act up. Ick! I slept with the wonderful lab dog all day. She loves it when I stay home. Silly dog!!!

Hey Karen! If you're really sure it isn't hijacking, I'll pop in. We're headed to DHS today, and I'm going to redeem my GAD voucher! Woo hoo! We had a fantastic meal at California Grill last night, and Wishes was great (though packed). I'll post some pictures this afternoon when we get back! Great day, but we won't put off walking again b/c we learned that once you get us seated with our itineraries, you are unlikely to get us back up and out walking!

So folks, I've changed my days around a bit...are you surprised AT ALL????

I was just not happy with going on arrival right to see Spectro (the only night we can fit this in, which is fine) and THEN going to MK all day the next day and night when it's an EMH and will be busier. I talked to Savannah and promised that we would go early enough on arrival evening that we could do some stuff in Adventureland before Spectro/MSEP and Wishes.

So, on Sunday, we will be doing AK instead. We will do our MK day on Tuesday, even though it's a party night, it will spread out our visits to MK for the week and it will be a great day for low crowds!

So I guess I should post my NEW first day! You know, I would go back and just change things in the original posts of itineraries, etc. but then there would be no documentation of my INSANITY! What fun would that be?

How funny that we're going to the same show! Rey will think I did that on purpose.

I like going to MK on our arrival night as well. Last trip Dylan didn't see Spectro or Wishes (or even Hallowishes) b/c he says he's a "half-a-day kind of guy". So, going on the first night will mean he gets to see those right off the bat and be with us at least 1 night out of the trip. If he poopoo's out the rest of the time, that's fine, it's his vacation too, I GUESS?!?!?!?

My favorite ride is Carousel of Progress. Hands down. I just love it, it's so quaint and old fashioned! Makes me happy.

My second favorite ride is spaceship earth. I remember riding it when I was 5! I was worried that I wouldn't like the changes, but I love them, it just made me like it even more!

I have never been on CoP! I will have to add it to my list! We love SE also but never went on it before the changes. I think the computer screen/interaction is so fun, Savannah LOVES it!
