Theme Park Reservations Sold Out

I have a quick question. The Saturday during our trip is showing that there are no more reservations for either park. (Luckily, we have our tickets booked already) But my question is...

If they have booked all reservations for the day, how crowded can we estimate the parks to be that day? Like a crazy "middle of the summer" pre-pandemic day? Or are they just not selling as many tickets per day?

Also, I imagine that if someone wanted to join us for that day and does not have a reservation yet, that they would be out of luck. right?

Thank you for any help one can offer. I thought maybe someone might have had some personal experience with this over the last few months.

Nah. Reservation cancellations/openings come up all the time, especially in the few days leading up to the visit- just keep checking.

As for how busy to expect... I'd expect pretty busy. Halloween time has become one of the busiest seasons of the year at DLR.

D23 this weekend which is probably why things are sold out if that is one of the days you are talking about and that should also guarantee that it will be busier...

The next two Saturdays in September (9/17 & 9/24) are also currently sold out for reservations. D23 weekend is currently open for at least one park both days, though I know Saturday was previously showing sold out.

Great to know about "keep checking". Thank you all for your help and input. I guess we prepare for crazy busy and make the most of it. Nothing is keeping us away.
