Not much to update.....but, I'm a worry wart. Very much so. So now, with Fay bearing down and 94L (or whatever it is!) brewing that gives me new worries.

Now I am worried about our Oct. trip and a hurricane. Yup, I worry a lot.

But, on to fun things. We had a very lazy day here on Saturday, so I decided to make my "Mousekeeping Tip" envelopes. I downloaded many of the designs on the DISigns board, but could not make them fit right on my envelopes, so I just made my own. Not nearly as wonderful as the ones on the DISigns board, but they will do and I think they are cute. Here they are:

I was over at the mall today, and forgot to notice if any of the Halloween stores are open yet - have you noticed?

The kids Indiana Jones hats are getting really beat up and I want to get them new ones for the MNSSHP. I can get them online, but wanted to check the price in the store first.

I know there is a Halloween store in the old Franks, and last year there was one in the old Ethan Allen - did you see if they are open yet?

At the D Mall, there is a halloween store up right now, has inflatables in the window, but they did not open doors yet as of Friday night, when we were there. It has a big black drape up so you can not see what is inside.

I can't wait for them to open up. I want see what is new this year for decorations

I noticed the bus one - (and, I don't want to turn your thread into a tipping thread). How much do you tip the ME driver? I hadn't thought of that one yet.

And, about hurricanes (or as DS8 used to call them - "Hermit Kings I wasn't worried about them in October until I heard about Fay a couple of days ago. So, count me in with the worriers.

I started a tipping thread a while ago, and it's acutally stayed nice and sane - LOL. We will probably tip $10 for the 5 of us. There is back and forth on the tipping of the ME driver.

Great pre-trip report! We will be at POFQ Oct 5- 10. We also saved some money with the new codes which I wouldn't have known about without the DIS!

With our previously booked AAA package 5 nights, 6 day park hopper (no wp) and dining plan we saved $230 for myself, DH and DS (who will be six the week of our trip). Of course that money will go back to Disney world anyway but probably though our stomachs since I have booked too many restaurants!

Can't wait - its getting close now! I will ignore this whole hurricane thing as long as possible. No disrespect for those really suffering now.

can't wait to see your packing tips, etc.

I am off to amazon.com to see how much the new unofficial guide costs - I got the UG with kids last year so I don't really need it but wanting it is another story!

Hey! Maybe we will see you at POFQ! I will have a LGMH attached to my Baggallini! I can't believe we are only 44 days away! It's getting harder to keep the secret! We were talking about Disney last night, and DS1 said "Stop talking about Disney, we are not going for so long and it's killing me" Bwahahahahahaha! If he only knew!

My UG is so dog-earred - I have read it 5x cover to cover - even the parts that don't concern me like off site hotels .

I will be updating with packing ideas, etc this weekend!

OK, I admit it. I'm a freak. Last night while watching the Olympics, I packed my park bag. We are not going for 39 days, but my bag for the park is packed. After looking at the huge list of stuff I was putting in it, I am shocked that it is 1.) Not heavy at all and 2.) not full - there is still tons of room!

Here is what my park bag contains:

Wipes/anit bac. hand gel
Tide Stick
Assorted baggies
Video camera

Extra contacts/case/trial size solution
Nail file
trial size sunblock
ponchos (Coleman brand from Target - I am going to use them as "disposible" - I can't use the nice thick ones from WDW-I'm allergic to latex)
blank index cards and sharpie for autographs

Looks like a TON of stuff, but most of it is tiny, and the Baggallini holds A LOT off stuff!

So, today I will start putting together my box to ship down, and working on my LGMH.

I never, never would have begun packing this early if it was not for the DIS, thanks for feeding the addiction

I can't start with suitcases yet because this trip is a surprise, and I don't want to bring attention to myself with the kids - LOL and, the weekend before we leave for Disney, we are going to visit my nephew for family weekend at the University of Scranton. I wrote all about move in day on my blog (link below if you are interested in my life, or if you need a sedative to fall asleep!)

My kids are sure we are going on March 13th. Works for me. And, they don't know I did the park bag We are going away the weekend before we leave, so the suitcases will be out for that, so I will be able to put stuff in them and zip them up, and they will think that DH still did not put them back in the attic - I love being sneaky!

My bagallini is khaki - DH will be sharing carrying time, so he wanted a "manly" or neutral color! I will have my LGMH hanging off the bag though!!

It does look like a lot of stuff, but I can't believe how light the bag is and how much room is still left! Most of the stuff is small (nail file, hand wipes, etc)

I am just really nervous about AirTran's layoffs. I'm sure we will be changed.

Not much else "Disney" going on. Throwing stuff in my box to ship down, keeping some clothes "aside"....you know, the regular stuff. I have been lax about updating here because I PROMISED myself I would be good about updating my blog (link in sig).

We are still keeping the secret - it's so hard, but so much fun! I cannot wait to see the kids when we tell them - hopefully it won't be like the "Uncle Dick's" video on youtube! I think they are going to freak out

I am axiously awaiting the arrivial of our documents from Disney to AAA TA - we are 28 days out, when should they be there????

So, 28 more days!!!! STAY AWAY HURRICANES!!!

great to see your latest post. Did you make your LGMH or laminate some from HD?

You are so organized! I have a big deadline at work due Oct 4 and we are leaving Oct 5 so I may be packing in the middle of the nite.

We did get our travel docs from AAA a couple days ago but my DH says he doesn't see our flight info in there!! Now I am worried since our flights are Airtran and I know some layoffs happened and some people have had flight changes. did you figure out that your flights had changed or did your TA notify you? We actually had good flight times for a change and so don't want any changes! We will stop by AAA tomorrow to check.

I am so excited I called last Sunday (35 days out) and booked a Wishes Cruise! I thought the reservations people would laugh when I tried that late!

love the pix of your boys. My DS started kindergarten 2 weeks ago and I didn't get a picture!
