The Young Avengers: World Tour (YARP Part 4)

Evelyn: "I wish you would of told us about him asking, but thanks not telling him anything. That's so frustrating of Thora. I know she pulls the whole but you are dating someone in the YA, but you know I had to leave my many friends in the dark. That was really rough. I miss them. She compromised all of us for some guy she likes and barley knows!"

Steve: "Thora needs to understand that life isn't fair, and because of your secrecy, none of you can go around making connections. You can't trust people in this day and age, something I've had to learn the hard way."

Evelyn: "Okay. So would you like me to help question?"

Steve: "No, Evelyn, it would have been nice if your mother stayed behind though. Go to bed."

Nova: "I'll question him," she answered. Nova paused. "And I understand." She sighed. "About Jeff, he was probably just trying to be a friend-"

Steve: "NO. You all will be emotionally attached, or you'll go easy on him. No, Nova, I don't care if you're a SHIELD agent, the answer is no."

Evelyn: "I'm not blaming Jeff, he probably was. I'm just a little frustrated at Thora."

Nova: "I am too," she whispered. Nova thought, I shouldn't have told Jeff Thora liked him anyway, I shouldn't've. She frowned. "He's with Thora."

Evelyn: "Yes she does need to learn that. You put it perfectly. Okay. Goodnight Captain Rogers, Nova." She went upstairs and tossed in turned in bed. Nobody realizing Luke was under their noses, seeing Raven under the same spell her father was, feeling horrfic for not being able to stop Raven from jumping, and Thora spilling the beans over a mere crush was all too much for Evelyn.

OOC: I for some reason find it funny that Steve seems to treat Evelyn nicer than Nova, although it's probably due to the fact that Nova doesn't seem to take too well to being told what to do.........

Nova: Nova frowned at him for a minute, then thought about her response. She hissed, "I do not have any emotional attatchments to him."

Steve: "Well, you've been saying that he could possibly not be a danger. But how can I trust your judgment when you didn't know that your classmate was Luke? You've been with them both for about the same amount of time. This Jeff could be working for Luke for all we know."

OOC: Steve was raised in a time when you were respectful to your elders and superiors, no questions asked. Evelyn is being respectful. Nova, not so much.

Nova: "I barely even talked to the kid, so of course I didn't know he was Luke in disguise!" she retorted. "Thora was the one who told him!"

OOC: Steve was raised in a time when you were respectful to your elders and superiors, no questions asked. Evelyn is being respectful. Nova, not so much.

OOC: That's Nova. She's bitter because her mom has sent her away a lot and was never really a mother to her, so she kind of hates many adults and especially SHEILD, because she blames SHEILD's agent base/rules/strictness from robbing her of a childhood.

And she doesn't really take to well to being told what to do because she's been on her own, only going on few missions. They were solo missions because she doesn't work well with others........

OOC: Sorry, I was busy.

Thora: She woke up and gently pulled Jeff's face towards hers, kissing him.

Thor: He was drinking coffee directly out of the pot, he was very stressed over the well being of his children.

OOC: Nova's backstory, this should make things a little clearer:

Nova Elyon Hill was born January 11th. Her father's identity remains a secret, though most suspect he was a former agent of SHEILD that passed away. Maria Hill was grateful for a beautiful daughter, but she had too many responsibilities at SHEILD to focus on raising her. So she allowed her daughter to live with friends of hers until Nova was eleven, at that age her mother sent her away to private school. Nova rebelled at the school horridly. Hill had to be called in as a parent several times to address Nova's behavior. Nova was kicked out of her first private school within two months, in which she was placed in a second, when she found a way to get herself kicked out of that school as well.
By the time Nova turned fourteen, she had gone to twelve private schools, each one she found a way to get kicked out of. She asked her mother one day to allow her to train in SHEILD, and because Maria Hill knew that she would waste time by putting Nova into another school, she agreed to let Nova train. Nova stayed clear away from the other younger agents, occasionally having an attitude with her instructor(s). By the time she turned sixteen, Nova became a capable fighter. SHEILD then allowed her to do solo missions.
Nova successfully pulled off these solo missions, even with her mother's disapproving eye. She tried making an effort to be on good terms with her mother, but Maria Hill shut her daughter out by being preoccupied with SHEILD things. As the months passed by, Nova grew more distant from her mother. Soon Nova's seventeenth birthday came around, and she continued effortlessly to cause trouble, talking back to her superiors. So when Maria Hill decided that Nova's behavior was out of control, she sent Nova to live with the Young Avengers, hoping that this would be where Nova learned to control herself. Nova didn't know any of them, but she had heard of them, for her mother explained to her why she was going there. Nova resents her mother for sending her away yet again.

Gordon: He held Britannia tightly and whispered sweet, romantic things into her ear.

OOC: Well, still, Steve's not the type to make exceptions.

Steve: "I said no. That's final. It's for your safety." He walked off and into the room where the Asgardians were. "AHEM."

OOC: Interesting

Thora: She gently pulled away from Jeff. "Mr. Captain America Rogers, sir?"

Steve: "Thora...I can't even begin to understand why you've done this to all of us. Oh, I know why you did it, you had a crush, and that's fine and dandy, but it's incomprehensible why you would put the security and lives of everyone here at risk for a boy you've known for a month, maybe two. This kid could work for Hydra. This kid could work for Luke. This kid could work for the people that are trying to kill Hope. This kid could work for any of SHIELD's enemies. It happened with Jack - yeah, I heard about what happened at Disney - so it's not like it's an unreasonable conclusion. Jeff....is that your name? I'm going to have to ask you to step out of the room. You and I are going to have a chat."

OOC: Apparently Stark Tower is located where the Met Life Building is. It's next to Grand Central station and close to Times Square.
