* Jack wants to take Phyllis on a getaway for New Years, at the airport they run into Sharon who tells them everything that happened in Hawaii. Phyllis looks at all of this as a joke, not believing Sharon while Jack is torn whether Sharon is telling the truth or not. Sharon says she'll prove it
* Daniel tells Abby that he will soon be free of Daisy, they are celebrating New Years Eve together. Kevin tells Daniel that he was right and he will no longer fight for custody of his niece, his niece deserves to be as far away from Daisy as possible.
* Chloe is sulking about Kevin on New Years Eve, she remembers the time she spent with Kevin then runs out on her mom. Meanwhile, Kevin is a miserable date with Alison all he can do is talk about Chloe, their date is cut short. Outside of Jimmy's, Chloe meets Kevin and tells him she wants a relationship. They kiss
* Sharon shows up at jail, Adam is hopeful about his freedom but then Sharon breaks the news that Skye is dead. Adam believes Skye is playing a trick but Sharon says she saw it with her own eyes and apologizes to Adam. Adam tells Sharon that someone saw Skye, they will prove it
* Jana comes to see Daisy, Daisy is in labor but is refusing to go to the hospital. Jana finally convinces Daisy and is taking her to the hospital, Daniel, Abby, Jack and Phyllis are already at the hospital awaiting their arrival but they never show up, Daniel is suspicious. Jana lets Daisy go free after she sees Kevin and Chloe kissing!

Next - Lauren lashes out at Phyllis blaming her about Daisy; Jana fakes being injured to get to Kevin; Victoria tells Billy that the doctor doesn't think Victoria will ever be able to have another child

And I am so tired of Daniels attitude for years...he always comes off as and heck I understand how he feels about this baby but it is the lack of caring or concern or anything about anyone but himself all the time....and that is how he has been since he started on the show.

I mean sure he cares about his mom and sister but if it came to him or them...he would always pick himself.

And so they let Skye fall into a volcano/lava pit only in the soap world

and I think Victor needs psychotic drugs because he is getting wackier and wackier
...

And Daisy disapears....ooooooooookay.....I think Jana is more crazy than Daisy is lately...could you imagine this woman watching your child at the Brady Bunch child care.....maybe she will give Daisy a job there next

This is how I see it, Skye was saved, I noticed there was a guy lingering in the general store when Sharon was telling her story. He kept watching her. Then it hit me, Skye could have made it out of the volcano. The first place she could have went was back to her hut where she witnessed Victor burning it and everything she owned to the ground. She has NOTHING now, she could have also saw Victor standing there getting rid of any evidence that she fell over. The Skye Lockhart we have been watching wouldn't settle for that, she would want revenge! Also, before she "fell" she basically told Sharon she was sorry, that told me she does has a conscience. Something tells me she will come back to GC to bring the mighty VN down! Also, watch this....

I think she is dead...the store guy was looking like that because he knows that skye was there and that she indeed had a post office box and that Victor was also there in regards to her.

I also think that he in the end will collaborate her story and also that they will find her perfume bottle in the ashes. Adam will get off...and everyone will know that Victor did all this to frame Adam and although they will criticize what Victor has done they wont think to harsh of him because after all they all hate Adam and feel that no matter what even though he didnt kill skye he still deserves to fry for what he did do and got away with....can we all say...like father like son ...in soooooooooo many ways.

It aggravated when Daniel and whats her face(Ashley's daughter) were talking on New Years eve(today) and she made a comment to him about how in so many words he Rocks for being a kind and wonderful man caring about that baby needing a good home with a family that will love and care for it and in so many words how fantastic he is for that and makes her want to be with him even more for being so unselfish....

BLA BLA BLA...does she not realize that HE DOES NOT WANT CHILDREN FROM ANYONE and has nothing to do with him being kind and loving but instead the opposite and uncaring.....he wants this baby as far away from him as he can get it...and not because he cares about it or because he wants it to have a better life away from the people that understand her history....but just GONE!

and has she stopped and asked herself in the future will he want to have kids EVER...and if not and she does she may want to rethink her relationship with him. He is very self centered....always has been and always will be...its how his DNA is.

And someone needs to put Jana in a straight Jacket.

I also love Chloe and Kevin together....much better than her and chase....hope they make them a cute couple like Billy and Victoria. and I just love how Chloe dresses...she even looked great in her PJ's with the little sheep on them.

By the way...has Nikki had a face lift...well the actress? she sure looks like she did and she also looks like she lost some wt.

The writers are really ruining Victor. It use to be where you could get by what he was doing and still have him redeemable....they have gone so far beyond that that and they have made him beyond a criminal but a man that has not one moral left in his body....they really made it bad when they had him bring patty back giving her a face make over and getting colleen killed and all that stuff....and than to wait by the side lines and let skye fall into the pit and almost pull in Sharon is beyond meanness...well you know what i mean.

Okay just my two cents, but I think that Billy is somehow gonna get Daisy's baby. But of course no one will realize until the kid is a teen, which should be in about 2 months.

The reason I don't like the Skye/volcano storyline is that it reminds me too much of Sharon and Drucilla falling over the cliff into the water. Seems like almost the same story---uggh.

OOps, I just saw the ending of today's show, Jana is a big pile of some crazy coco puff. Talk about let everyone be scared every day of their life about Daisy.

Victor should have kicked Sharon into the liquid hot magma when she went to get the camera, she is still so weak. Here Pele' you get a 2 for 1 deal.

that was my take also as I posted a few pages back...no one will have seen the baby so now one will have a clue...the only one that would have seen her would be Daisy...and she may realize that she has no way to care for her on the run so will decide to sell her so she has money to live on.

Than down the line the baby will need to have a transplant or something and everyone in town will be willing to help and be tested and they will find that there were DNA matches for not just one but 3 people that tested....Daniel,Kevin and Phyllis....

Daisy will have someone sell the baby but not through an Attorney because she does not want any one to know like an attorney that may or may not report it if he found out that she the birth mother is an escaped prisoner or recognize her from the TV...sooooooooo it will be done through an illegal adoption.....and Daisy will find out who it was that has adopted her and one day as she is saying goodbye to her baby...voes one day to return and they will be reunited and live happily ever after.

But one thing is for sure...this baby is not leaving Genoa City....and with all the baby talk going on and Billie calling to get a baby....we know where this baby will end up. I'd bet my house on it.....well maybe not my house but at least my toothbrush

Colin continues to pressure Cane to come back to Australia with him but Cane refuses. Meanwhile Katherine become suspicious of Colin and hires Paul and Nina to investigate his background. Which will infuriate Jill when she finds out and lead to a renwal of the Jill/Katherine feud.

Colin visits Lily and the babies and he starts bonding with them which could cause him to change his mind about trying to force Cane to leave town. Colin may want to build a relationship with his DIL and grandkids. But Cane is adamant that no one know that they are father and son. The actor who plays Cane says that he does not think this time Cane will be forgiven when his lies are revealed especially since he already lied once about being Jill's son.

Kay Investigates Colin -- Jill finally introduces Colin to Katherine, who is privately put off by him. "he somehow does not fit in," notes Jeanne Cooper [Katherine]. "He doesn't have the warmth like Cane had in the beginning."

Jill's behavior is also a red flag. "Katherine has never seen Jill act so stupid," chuckles Cooper. "Jill is being so coquettish and that's the last thing she is. The relationship happened so fast that Katherine always has to suspect that love at first sight at Jill's age is not a common thing. Jill becomes desperate at times, and Katherine knows that."

La Chancellor hires Paul to run a background check on Colin without Jill's knowledge. Explains Cooper, "Katherine simply says to Paul, 'I do not trust him. There's something that doesn't make sense.' Katherine is protective of Jill."

Sure enough, Paul uncovers some unsavory details. "He comes up with this record that Colin has and Katherine says, 'I thought so!'" recounts Cooper. "Now she has to make Jill aware that Colin's background is rather checkered."

Y&R's Daisy Escapes, Then Gives Birth! While out celebrating the end of 2010 with Abby, Daniel becomes concerned when he can't reach Jana, who was supposed to be taking Daisy to the hospital because she started having contractions. "It's quite easy to lose track of someone on New Year's Eve," chuckles Michael Graziadei [Daniel].

Meanwhile, Chloe and Kevin are stunned when they encounter an injured Jana, who claims Daisy attacked her, then escaped. (In reality, Jana willingly let Daisy slip away.) Kevin calls Daniel with the bad news. "He's a little freaked out," acknowledges Graziadei. "I mean, this nutcase runs away and she's preggers with his child, but nobody knows where she is."

Since there's no use trying to track Daisy via her ankle monitor (it was deactivated so Jana could drive her to the hospital, then taken off), Daniel decides to search for Daisy himself. It isn't long before he finds Jana's car on the side of the road and Daisy inside. "There is a feeling of relief," says Graziadei. "Now he can try to put things back into motion, as far as getting her into custody and to the hospital, where she should be."

That trip will have to wait because Daisy tells Daniel that the baby is on the way. "He's confronted with having to help deliver this child, which clearly he's never done,"Graziadei chuckles.

As Daisy pushes, she pleads with Daniel to give their family a chance. Graziadei explains, "She's going, 'We can do this together, me and you. Let's run away. Me, you and the baby, we'll raise her. We'll give her a life.' It's crazy talk. In her psychotic little world, she thinks that everything is goin gto work out the way that she planned."

Daniel refuses to even consider that option, which doesn't sit well with Daisy. The baby finally arrives and Daniel holds his daughter for the first time. "I would absolutely say there is a sense of wonderment," notes Graziadei. "I mean, how can one not feel something when you look down upon a baby and you realize that it came from you? You've got to be a heartless bas-tard to not feel anything."

But that emotional moment doesn't last long. Sighs Graziadei, "Daisy hits him over the head and knocks him out."

And then she's gone.

Lauralee Bell [Christine Blair] -- The actress comes back for an indefinite run starting on January 13, 2011.

Christopher Forsyth [Assistant DA] -- Heather's [Eden Reigel] former position is taken over by a new face starting on January 5, 2011.

Melissa Hayden [Agnes] -- As previously reported, GL alum Hayden [ex-Bridget] appears on January 7, 2011. "It was very strange timing, so I hope that the fans will put in their two cents and get me back on the show again," she says. "It was a holiday weekend thing, so I just came in quickly and did my scenes and off I went! It was really lovely to be at a real sounds stage again."

Ellen Greene [Primrose] -- The actress, best known for Little Shop of Horro rs, Pushing Daisies and Heroes makes her Genoa City debut on January 7, 2011, in a storyline where she helps bring joy to Billy &Victoria. In 1998 she appeared on AMC as Winona.

Y&R's Bell Promoted -- Y&R's head writer, Maria Arena Bell, who has also been serving as co-executive producer with Paul Rauch, has been promoted to executive producer. "It's incredible," smiles the scribe, who is also the daughter-in-law to Y&R's co-creator, the late William J. Bell. "We got the three-year renewal, which is such a vote of confidence for the show and the industry in general, and we just celebrated 22 years at No. 1. Now, I havea new deal with the show to continue in my role here and in essence a promotion, so now I'm the sole executive producer and head writer. I'm still working with Paul in the great partnership that we have. Historically, this show has always been a writer-driven show, as we know, so it's a great confidence for me that I was given the title."

Bell Back on Y&R -- Legal eagle Christine Blair makes another return to Genoa City next week, which means her portrayer, Lauralee Bell, is back to reprise the role she originated in 1983. "My sister-in-law, Maria [Arena Bell, executive producer/head writer], asked, 'Can you do a couple of days?' and I said, 'Sure,'" explains the actress. "Now that there's a base there with Nina, Paul and Ronan, it makes sense for my character to come back now and then. Well, Maria said it would be a couple of days, but of course, it always turns out to be a little bit longer than that. I thought I'd be done a week-and-a-half ago, but they're still writing for me. But I'm not complaining. It's family there. It's never a chore or downer to come back."

Bell is pleased that her character's return is integral to story. "She's not making out with anybody, but there's a great twist [ laughs ]," the actress winks. "As soon as I knew that Doug [Davidson, Paul} and Tricia Cast [Nina] were involved -- and I've certainly come to appreciate working with Jeff [Branson, Ronan] -- it was a draw for me." Speaking of Branson, Bell shares, "A couple of people said, 'We're really intrigued about Christine and Ronan being a couple.' We're not playing that at all, so I don't want to mislead anyone, but even Tricia said, 'You guys would be good together.'"

This time around there are no courtroom scenes, and Bell admits she's come to dread them. "I'm definitely in the lawyer role in a very strong way and I have a couple of legal words; however, never more than a sentence or two at a time," she chuckles. "Someone said, 'Do you think this could go to trial?' and I thought, "Oh, my God! Am I getting punked?' I'm in fear of it. I'm in mommy overload right now, so if you tacked on a trial, it wouldn't have been my best."

So how long will Christine be in town? Bell says, "I've asked four times and no response. I'm actually flattered by Maria not giving me a true answer. I have e-mailed her a couple of times only because January is a busy time for me, but I never get a response from her [ laughs ]. So, we'll see ...
