* Sharon and Adam are stared at while at Gloworm, run into Ashley, Tucker and Abby on their way out. Sharon tells them to enjoy their evening as they stare at her and Adam, then leaves. Ashley and Abby talk about Sharon, how she could be with Adam.
* Nick and Diane have another run in at the AC, they talk and decide to continue their evening at the Newman ranch! Nick and Diane end up having sex and Diane confides in Nick about being broke, he promises to keep her secret, they have sex again. Meanwhile, Victor is coming home!
* Phyllis refuses to post the evidence that Sharon and Adam have brought her, outside the suite she does admit to Jack that Adam could be telling the truth about Victor settitng him up. Later, Phyllis and Jack just happen to stumble upon a bag containing Skye's things and blood, they are now convinced Adam's guilty
* Victoria is upset about being away from Reed and concerned about her test results that aren't back yet, Billy is worried about her and is later shown asking Rafe hypothetically about buying a baby!!
* Abby is still convinced that Tucker is a player, she decides to go to his place and "accidentally" spills champagne on herself. Abby is trying to look appealing to Tucker but her plan backfires, Abby leaves while Tucker looks suspicious of what Abby was upto
* Sharon and Adam are at the church to find Sharon's locket that is missing, Adam and Sharon discuss how he took Faith from her once and won't be the cause of her losing Faith again. Sharon doesn't believe Adam is the same person anymore, he has changed and so has she. Sharon confesses her love for him

Next - Ronan has Adam at the police station, will listen to what he has to say; Jack asks Phyllis what she cares more about, her story or nailing Adam; Diane to Nikki, about chasing Sugar Daddies and now being a Sugar Mama

Nick and Diane have sex at the ranch - the impression from the article was that it happened at the main house but maybe it was at Nick's place. Anyway they are ready to go at it again when they hear someone approaching. Diane is able to get dress and leave before the person arrives - it is Victor. He realizes that a woman had been with Nick but of course does not guess who it was. Nick gets into an argument with his father about him always going off when the family is in crisis. Meanwhile after leaving Nick Diane sees Nikki having coffee with Deacon. Diane can't resist making some digs at Nikki and hinting at a new relationship. Nikki shrugs off Diane's comments and Deacon sends her packing. Later Victor offers Diane a job to work with him on some project. Before accepting Diane talks to Nick who encourages her to take the job because he knows she needs the money.

Joshua Morrow is quoted as saying that neither Nick or Diane are interested right not in a serious relationship. One of the writers is quoted as saying that things do get seriosu between Nick and Diane and hints that Diane may fall in love with Nick. The writer also hints that there could be a Nick/Diane/Victor triangle. The writer also said this could turn into a foursome or even a fivesome.

Joshua Morrow says he can't imagine being with a woman who was his father's ex-wife let alone competeing for her with his dad. He did not sound in the least bit thrilled by a possible triangle between Nick, his old man and Diane.

DaParkers—Glad to know youre a man, particularly one with a spouse and children, because I would love to hear a man’s perspective sometimes. So, talk to me about the Nick Newman syndrome, ‘cause I’m stumped!!

Nick is an egomaniac and a hypocrite, but doesn't know it. He has good intentions and he let's that blind him from the truth about himself. He is just like Victor, but refuses to admit it. He feels the world should revolve around him and that the women in his life should do what he wants because he's Nick Newman. He can't understand why Sharon would have feelings for Adam because he's "Scum", but Nick doesn't realize that as bad as Adam is, he would be faithful to Sharon, something that he seems to be incapable of doing.

Y&R's Nick and Diane Have Sex! Those chummy encounters between Nick and Diane finally led to lonely-hearts sex. "They're just having fun," reasons Joshua Morrow (Nick). "I think there's some interest there, but it's really two people who are dealing with a bunch of junk in their lives and they're able to kind of buffer that with each other. I don't think for a second that eithr of them is looking for anything serious. They're just enjoying each oher right now."

It's a welcome respite for Nick, who is still smarting over his breakup with Sharon. "He's incredibly disappointed with her," Morrow notes. "His feelings are really hurt. I mean, Sharon picked Adam over Nick. That's got to sting. He really wanted to spend the rest of his life with her!"

After Round 2 between the sheets, Nick and Diane hear a car approaching and realize that Victor has unexpectedly returned home. Diane slips out before Victor comes inside, but it doesn't take long for him to deduce that Nick was entertaining a female companion. That gets father and son commiserating about their sorry love lives. However, things get testy when Nick vents his frustration over Victor leaving town so suddenly. "Whenever Victor leave, he throws everything on Nick," points out Morrow. "It's 'You watch the company, you clean up all this for me, you do this, you do that.' This time, Nick basically says, 'I'm always here, holding down the fort until you get back from God only knows where. But this is a time in my life when I actually needed your support because I'm dealing with stuff with Sharon and I'm worried about my children,' and all that sort of stuff. So Nick is like, 'Hook me up for once here, big man!'"

Later, Diane is shocked when Victor offers her a job on a new project. Diane asks for time to consider it, then runs to Nick for advice. 'At this point, Nick knows that she's in debt, so he's glad that she has an opportunity to get some financial stability," says Morrow.

Diane eventually accepts Victor's offer, but is bowled over by his next unorthodox proposal...

Comings &Goings - Who's coming to Genoa City...

Signy Coleman (Hope Wilson) and Raya Meddine (Sabrina Newman): Victor's (Eric Braeden) late wives, who both dies in 2008, will make appearances on December 23 during a special holiday episode which has Newman facing the demons of his past. "It's a joy to me every time I come back," smiles Coleman. "Working with Eric again is always amazing."

Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott Connelly): Traci drops in on December 23.

GL Alum to Y&R: Melizza Hayden (ex Bridget, GL), who was last seen on-screen for GL's 2009 finale, will return to daytime on January 7, 2011 when she makes an appearance in Genoa City as Agnes. "It was really fun," Hayden shares. "(Co-executive Producer Paul Rauch) was over at GL {as EP] during my last couple of years there, so it was really nice of him to have me come over. I so appreciate him. And the Bells, of course, are fabulous. I haven't done any of the Bell shows, so it was wonderful. The actress, who taped her scenes on November 23, loved being on the Y&R set, but, she admits, "I was nervous going in! It was a lot of people I don't know, but I knew I was doing okay when the camera guys goes, 'Oh, I like you!' I was like, 'Oh, my God! The camera guy likes me! I'm in!' That just made my day." The show is hush-hush about the storyline surrounding her appearance, but Hayden offers, "It's kicking something off. It's going to be meaningful when it happens." And she hopes it leads to more appearances in the future. "I'm just excited for any opportunity."

Otherwise Engaged: Bryton James (Devon) has confirmed that he is officially engaged to his girlfriend, Ashley. "I thought of a billion different ways to propose because I wanted it to be memorable," says the actor. "Then we went to Rome and I had the ring with me. I figured I would just know when it would be the right time to ask. I did it, and she said yes!" A wedding date has not been set.

Talk about me almost falling out of my chair! Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Barney on the hit CBS comedy, "How I Met Your Mother," recently tweeted about about a sudden change in the cameo Y&R's Eric Braeden was supposed to make.

"Eric Braeden is a D-Bag. the actor, (Robin's dad) agreed to a cameo, then last night bailed, saying the part wasn't 'substantial' enough."

"We've recast with Ray Wise, a fantastic actor who makes any part 'substantial'. Super excited to welcome him to the family!"

Will Nick's fling with Diane have farflung consequences?

This week on Y&R Nick may want to contact Dr. Phil -- and put the TV shrink's number on speed-dial -- because his decision to sleep with former stepmom Diane is certain to wreak major havoc on his life!

Highway to Hell? As the week begins, Nick and Diane must deal with the surprising direction their relationship has taken -- i.e., straight into bed! When their post-coital cuddle is interrupted by Victor's unexpected arrival at the ranch, the couple scramble to hide their new intimacy, with Diane sneaking out before her ex can see her. No fool, the Mustache realizes pretty darn quick that Nick has had a woman over. But even Victor doesn't figure out that the woman who just crawled out of Nick's bed once slept in his! And, not surprisingly, Nick opts not to fill his father in on the identity of his new lady -- and we use the term loosely -- friend.

"Diane is definitely not a great choice for Nick," laughs Josh Morrow. "At one time, she was his stepmom, so there's a little bit of the ick factor to their relationship. But I don't think Nick is thinking about any of that now. He's not thinking of the repercussions."

Heck, given his recent drama-filled relationships with Sharon and Phyllis, who could blame Nick for wanting something a tad more casual? "I really don't think there's any serious plan or goal behind getting together with Diane," insists the actor. "It just happened. Their kids were together, they started talking with each other, sharing some wine. One thing led to another, and it was like, 'You want to have some fun? Yeah? Let's do it!' This woman basically wants to get naked, have some no-strings attached fun!" he continues with a grin. Nick is never one to turn down a beautiful lady. Of course, I think he'll pay for it later, but I don't think he cares or is even thinking about that now."

Crazy Love! Of course, given the fact that his relationship with Sharon crumbled like a loaf of stale bread, one would have to wonder if the hunk might be on the rebound. But Morrow doesn't believe that's the case. "The thing with Sharon obviously really hurt him, even more than he's letting on. He's hurt and probably a little embarrassed, too, because the love of his life picked Adam over him. Nick's not used to losing at things, so that really stings. But with Diane, I really think he's just looking for some fun and to do what he does best, which is be a philanderer! This may or may not turn into something else another time," he adds, but for now, Diane's got money problems, Nick's got lady problems. It's like, 'Let's make each other feel goof for a little while.'"

Still, he admits that his alter ego hasn't quite grasped the idea of short-term pleasure versus long-term pain -- which his connection to the beauty will undoubtedly bring on! "Diane's got problems with Nikki and with Phyllis ... so it's going to really hit the fan when this gets out!" It doesn't help matters when, fresh from Nick's bed, Diane can't stop herself from sparring with Nikki after she observes her new lover's mother with Deacon at the coffeehouse. But Nikki's howl of rage should she find out about her child hooking up with her long-time rival will be nothing compared to what will happen when Phyllis finds out about her ex-hubby's latest liason!

"Nick is not seeing the thing with Diane as anything but a super-casual thing right now, but once Phyllis gets wind of it ... yeah, there's goign to be fireworks," grins Morrow. Whether those fireworks will include the redhead trying to restrict Nick from taking care of Summer while being involved with Diane -- she already made a similar demand of Jack -- is the big question. "The one thing Phyllis always seems to agree with Nick on is that he is a great dad," he says. "She probaby will have problems with her child being around Diane, but I can't imagine she's be too crazy. Still, it will definitely raise eyebrows."

Matters of the Heart - And no one's eyebrows will be raised higher than those of "the Great Victor Newman," (or TGVN, in twitterspeak) should the couple's affair become public knowledge. While the gajillionaire has had a contentious history with the model-turned-architect, in recent weeks, the two seemed to have put aside their bitterness. Heck, Victor even gave Diane a lift to New York on his private jet. Now, Victor has another offer for the cash-strapped stunner -- a much needed job!

The last time Diane worked closely with Victor, they ended up bedding down together and eloping. Is Nick worried that history may repeat itself? "Initially, he's excited for her because he knows that she's been having money problems, and he knows this is a way for her to get out of the debt that she's in," Morrow previews. "But later on, there is clearly going to be an issue with this potential triangle. For the life of me, I can't imagine sleeping with some woman that my dad is hanging out with! But these two aren't thinking about the problems their relationship could bring up," he concludes. "They want to keep their affair under wraps because of their kids, but once it comes out ... it's going to be utter chaos!"
