I’m Baaaaaaaaaaack!!
Ok so when we last left off a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away, Naboo was under an attack…..
Wait, wrong story.
Ok to recap {Insert Wayne’s World flashback}:
Today we planned on hitting 2 parks in 1 day and our last day in the Disney Parks.
We started out the super hot, humid morning in AK and I ended up with a bum ankle that I to this day don’t know how I got.
We did a few rides at AK and are now on our way to MGM (it was still called MGM, ahhhh the memories….

)
{Insert Wayne’s World Flashback end}
So we walk, well I hobble, out of AK after our PhotoPass session towards the buses to MGM and luckily didn’t have to wait long.
Apparently the heat had gotten to Yani’s BF because he passed out on the short bus ride over to MGM:
Hee hee! This became our new favorite pastime to get pics of him sleeping.
We entered MGM and it wasn’t too packed and Ooooh look!!! Photopass!
Yani was tired of Photopass, but I did drag Isis in a pic with me.
We continued our way down Sunset Blvd preparing to scream our heads off.
The RnR FPs were all gone by this time though and the wait time said 40 min. So we nixed that idea and headed over to ToT. The FPs were super late already and the wait time said 20 min. so we braved the stand by line towards our doom.
Here’s a horrible redneck pic of our ride pic. Sorry it looks really crappy, but last time we did this ride we kept missing our ride photo and it’s so high up it’s kinda hard to get a good pic of the pic.
We got front row though L-R James (Yani’s BF), Isis, Me in the green Focking the camera.
We checked out the wait time at RnR again and it was still 40 min. We look at each other and decide that it’s not going to get any shorter. We dump all our stuff with Yani as she goes off to the gift ship to wait for us and brave the stand by again with all of THEM. Lemme tell you, that wait was not 40 min. it was more and oh so slow moving. Eventually though we finally got on and as usual highly enjoyed it. I even got to give the Lime Look to the camera again, but when we got out to see our ride photo they never showed it. We waited and waited for ours and Yani had been looking for us before we got off but we never saw it. I wonder if they thought I was doing something illegal and that’s why they never showed it. Darn!
I don’t remember what time it was, but we had some time to kill before our 4:30 ADR at Mama Melrose so we wandered around awhile in the shops and their lovely A/C.
We decided to skip Beauty and the Beast & VOTLM (James would be bored) and Indiana Jones was on it’s last show that we missed and LMA was already in progress so we were gonna try to get the 5:30 last showing if we got out of dinner in time.
So we walked around some more and get caught in the HSM parade and who do my wandering eyes should appear?

Why 2 Dream Team CMs just standing about.
See how hot it was? The Dream Team guy is sopping sweat off his forehead.
Oh, and if you look even more closely you’ll see the Photopass guy next to him doing the moves to HSM dance. It was hilarious and the Dream Team people joined in.
So I had my watchful eye on the DT people to see if they would head off towards a ride and I may just possibly earn a dream finally.
Unfortunately HSM ended and all the DT people did was give a little kid who went up to them some pins.
Not fair.
I would’ve settled for some free pins.
They only seemed to like trading with the kids though, so I was S.O.L.
Onward we moved and we decided to just head over to Mama Melrose and see if they would take us early.
So we wandered over, checked in, added James to the ressie, which they had no problem doing and waited in the air conditioning for our seat. Luckily they were able to seat us 15 min. after we arrived.
Our waitress looked like Ellen DeGeneres and I’m kicking myself for not taking a pic with her. She was really nice though and funny too. Maybe she was an Ellen clone?
Our food was ok, apparently we had inherited V’s second time around food mojo and I remember the food being much better the first time I was here back in April, but I think was hungry at the time that I didn’t care.
I had the Mozzarella w/ Tomatoes for an appy, the Oven baked chicken alla Parmigana (that was overcooked and dry) and some delicious refreshing Gelato for dessert. I have no idea what everyone else had. I love the atmosphere of MM, but I don’t think I’ll be dining here again any time soon.
We gave Ellen the KTTW card to pay for the food and she comes back saying there’s a problem with our credits. We only have 3 TS left.
So I once again channel Mrs. Broflofsky "What what what?!"
Oh no, how could that be?
So I ask her if there’s a way of pulling up a history of our used TS and she tells us she’s gonna go check. So off she goes and we’re left at the table trying to figure out where the missing TS may have been used.
We account for all our credits except for P&PP night and we ask James where he ate that night. He said he ate at the resort at the place by the pool. So I start thinking of the places by the pool and I know there was a little CS place/bar thingy and I ask him if it was there and he said no, that he sat down at a table and they gave him a menu and everything. Then he proceeded to tell us that the food wasn’t even that good and that the steak he ate there broke his tooth.
Bingo! There’s our missing TS.
Apparently Olivia’s is considered TS. Now, me still being fairly new to Disney dining did not know Olivia’s was considered a TS. I thought it was OKW’s equivalent to Artist Pallette that SSR has, which is basically their food court. I thought Olivia’s was OKW’s food court, but apparently it’s not; come to think of it I don’t think I ever saw a food court at OKW.
So when Ellen comes back she tells us our used TS history and she rambles off Olivia’s. We all pretended we hadn’t figured it out already and said, “Ohhhhh.”

James then said that he would pay OOP for his meal. Well Ellen was super nice to us seeing that we had been super nice with her and laughing and having a good time and I guess she felt sorry for us because she decided to only charge James for the cheapest of the four meals and use our
DDP credits on the more expensive meals.
We

thanked her profusely and tipped her extra for being so awesome.
We said bye to Ellen and to Mama Melrose and went off in search of something to do.
