I know. I needed to recover. It was a busy 2 1/2 days.

So remember the chicks that were chatted up in BTMRR and gave Daniel their number? Now remember where said number was stored?

Yup in Mom’s cell phone.

So here’s their plan, which I am brought into, because Mom and Bre aren’t very tech savvy. I am to change the numbers of the chicks in the phone so that if/when he calls he won’t be able to contact them. Muahahahaha!

So I find the name of the chick and change the # by 1 digit and all before he came back and without the other minions noticing because I think they had all gone off to the bathroom.

Excellent plan no?

Well there was a glitch to it...

The Minions return and Minion #1 asks if he can meet up with the chicks and blah blah and Bre says try calling them. So he gets the cell and goes outside. Our dessert arrives and it was very yummy (again forgot to take pics). He comes back and says that they didn’t answer the phone.

We’re all laughing inside.

I tell him they probably gave him a fake number.

He gets all bummed.

But wait!

There’s a second number for a second chick.

Ooops!! We didn’t know about that.

So he goes back out and calls that chick and he gets in contact with them. Asks Bre again if he can go and she tells him she doesn’t really want him to go, but he begs and pleads and she allows him to go. So he bids us all farewell and plan to meet up again at Wishes. As soon as he gets up and leaves Ivan decides he doesn’t want to be left behind and wants to go too. Bre tells him straight out no and he gets mad and then leaves the restaurant.

OMG! He did not just leave!!!

We pay our bill and as we head out we see Woody’s round up again and Ivan is leaning against one of the columns right outside LTT looking all kinds of annoyed. I see him and hug him and tell him I’m glad he didn’t leave and that I have a surprise in store for them that Daniel’s gonna miss out on. Mom hugs him too and Minion #3 is happy to see that his brother didn’t leave him either.

We walk toward Main Street and I see people lined up for the parade, so I ask if we should stay and watch it and Mom and Bre say sure. Ivan decides to take a bathroom break and while he was away I snag a photopass guy to take our picture. It was supposed to be a girls pic, but Mom called Minion #3 over at the last minute:

The parade starts and we see the Castle winners go by. They look completely clueless that they’ve just won that most coveted Dream.

We're off to ride Mom’s favorite ride, IASW. She absolutely loves this ride and I like it too, but first potty break for Mom and Bre. You’ve got to be kidding me! Ugh.

The Minions and I wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait for them to come back and while we are waiting what do I see?

I missed a Dream because of Mom and Bre’s bladder.

And guess who decides to show up at that moment too?

Yup they finally make it back.

Me: “What took you guys so long?”
Mom: “We couldn’t find the bathroom.”

So we get in the now long line for IASW. Here’s Mom and Ivan waiting:

I won’t bore ya’ll with my 5 million pic of the ride, but here’s Mom on it:

As we’re exiting there’s a huge traffic jam ahead.

That was very smart changing the number. I would have done the same thing. Too bad that there was a second number on the phone.

It must be because they are teens but the two oldest minions sure seem to have temper/attitude problems. Although Ivan seems to be led by the example of his oldest brother. One thing I will not be looking forward to should I ever have kids! I hope they thanked you for planning the trip for them.

Those clouds do not look good! I hope you do not get rained out!

On the other hand, listen to this. My cell # number is 1 digit off from Rob's and his is 1 digit off from my Dad's whose # is 1 digit off from my Mom's. Something to ponder ...

Yes they look up to Minion #1 and love to follow what he does; Monkey see Monkey do. I feel the same way about what to look forward to with kids Lessa, although this was a good training.

There is a massive traffic jam at the exit of IASW and people are pushing and shoving but nobody’s moving.

Then I hear a CM screaming over the crowd for everyone to please keep moving, but nobody’s moving. We’re pushed further to the front and see that there is a torrential rain storm going on outside. You can't even see the Peter Pan ride from how much rain was pouring, plus there was lightning and thundering. The CMs continue telling people to keep moving and not block the exit and there are parents complaining that they’re not taking their kids out there with all that lightning and it wasn’t safe. There were a few people prepared and they donned their ponchos and made a run for it. Where were our ponchos? Why they were at home 4 hours away in my closet in a Disney bag. Why is it that when you need the ponchos you never have them?

Meanwhile we’re still being pushed forward but nobody’s really moving. We squirm our way towards the front and decide to make a run for it to Pinocchio’s Village Haus. Ivan and I go first and OMG it was cold, but we make it, completely soaked. Then Mom, Bre and Joey run for it too and we’re all now crammed into PVH with the other people who had run there for cover and/or were already eating there. Fantasyland was empty though, all we could see was the rain coming down and the lightning.

After about 5 minutes the rain finally lets up and everyone starts venturing back out. We head on over to catch a showing of Mickey’s Philharmagic, which was excellent as usual; plus it stars my Main Guy . I love the Ariel part.

As we exit, Mom and Bre have to use the bathroom…..again , so Joey and I decide to ride Cinderella’s Carrousel while we wait (Ivan didn’t care for it, so I tell him to keep an eye out for our moms. While we were getting on the Carrousel I see Mary Poppins and one of the Penguins riding with all the little children. Unfortunately there were no seats by her. Here’s Joey and I on the Carrousel, and if you look in the background you can see the Penguin:

We find Ivan and I ask him if Mom and Bre have come out and he says no. We wait some more and then start the search for them. I call Mom on the phone like 15 times and she doesn’t answer. We can’t call Bre’s phone because Daniel has it. Unbelievable! We walk around some more, go back to the gift shop by Philharmagic to see if they’re shopping or something and that’s where they were. Oh my little goodness. I argue with Mom about not answering her phone and she does that mom thing that mom’s do so well of shrugging it off that she didn’t hear the phone, but God forbid I ever do that to her. Bre is shopping for shirts and asks the Minions to each pick one out, but Minion #2 didn’t want one. Minion #3 gets a ginormous lollipop which is the size of his head with one of the snack credits and we decide that we’ve had enough of MK and decide to find some more adventure elsewhere.

Remember when I told Ivan I had a surprise in store for him after Daniel left us at LTT? Well it’s time I made good on my promise.

Mom really wanted to go to Epcot and visit the WS and have her Margarita in Mejico

that she didn’t get to have on Monday and I decided to take the Minions on an adventure of our own because I know they could care less about the WS.

We hopped the monorail to Epcot and I told Mom that I would be calling her and to please pay attention to the phone. Mom and Bre headed off to drink their ‘Rita and I told the Minions it was time for them to get their ride on. Remember our TT FPs that we got when we couldn’t ride because of the rain, well it was time to put those babies to use! Unfortunately I only had 2 of them so I told the Minions to go ride it and I’d wait for them at the exit. After what seemed like forever and praying that it wouldn’t start raining again they finally came out; here’s what they looked like after the ride:

I asked them if they liked it and they both shrugged that it was “O.k.”

What what what?!

Me: You didn’t like the end when you went really fast?
Minion #3: That was the only good, part but it wasn’t very fast.
Me: Whaddya mean it wasn’t fast?
Minion #3: Shrug

Ok, whatever.

Me: Alright guys, let’s go, we’re gonna go ride a roller coaster!
Minions #2 & #3: HOW?!?!?
Me: Because we have the ability to go to different parks and guess what? Daniel’s gonna miss out! Aren’t you glad you stayed Ivan? Muahahahahahaha!
Ivan: Nods yes with a huge smile
Joey: Jumping up and down yelling we’re gonna ride a coaster!!!!

Finally some excitement! Sheesh.

So we leave Epcot and find the bus to AK because we’re on a mission to meet a Yeti. The AK bus takes forever to arrive and I’m starting to wonder if we’ll have time to make it there. Then an AK/AKL bus arrives and I ask the driver if he’s doing a stop at AK (just to be sure) and he says “No.”

I’m sure I had a confused look on my face and before I could question the sign on the bus he smiles and Nods yes he’s going to AK too.

Phew Although that wasn't a very funny joke on his behalf....

We get on and so does the other family that was waiting with us and we’re off, but the bus driver is sooooooooooo sloooooooooooow and I see the minutes flying by on the bus clock. C’mon dude step on it!

Have you noticed that most WDW bus drivers are either very slow or very fast? What’s up with that? And of course when you’re wishing for the fast drivers you end up with the super slow ones.

Will we make it on time to get our ride on?

Yikes, You had the same rain experience that I did.

What a nice surprise you had for the boys. I love how you rubbed it in to Ivan that Minion #1 would miss out because he ditched the family. I hope that you guys are able to get on Everest!

WOW! That sounds like more than just a passing afternoon Florida thunderstorm! I hate lightning! Scares me to death! Can't wait to see if the boys liked the Yeti!! Not that's a coaster!
