DH has not put together my treadmill yet. Jodie, if I would provide the beer, do you think your DH could do this for me?

I had two friends named Pam (now I have 3!)and to differentiate between the two when we all got together, which was daily since we worked together, we called one of them PamSammy. Don't ask me why, I don't remember. But everytime I see Pam's name here, I want to call her PamSammy. Perhaps because PS was also into the hunting/ outdoorsman type of stuff. So forgive me Pam if I ever do it to ya, just keep in mind that these Pams are dear to my heart.

OK all you Ya Yas who color their hair....I'm taking the plunge next weeK!!! Yikes! I'm a little nervous about this one but I need some ZIP!!! Know what I mean. Hee hee...my stylist...who has known me since before kids...swears I've got some hunky guy on the side!!!! LOL! "Just look at you" she said...losing all this weight, coloring your hair, taking off without Bob and the kids...um hmmmmm! My neighbor is saying the same thing!!!! WHY is it when a woman wants to "improve herself" everyone assumes there is a MAN involved??? Anyway...back on topic...she suggested a "demi-gloss"...she says this just adds shine to the hair and gets rid of the grey but keeps it my natural color. Anybody had this done? Geez I don't want to go blonde or anything...I just NEED something!!! So Elaine...you go green, I'll go pink and we'll knock their socks off at the meet!! What do ya say???

AND...I went clothes shopping today...oh wayyyy past due...and got jeans in yet another size smaller...that's 3 sizes smaller ya'll!!!! OMG! By the time I get down to my goal I will be wearing a size I don't think I have EVER worn before!!! Hee hee... this is FUN!

Bad news....the charm kiosk in the mall is gone! Sigh... Oh well...I have ordered most of em online anyway! Wish we had a Hallmark here that sold em.

Beth did you ask about the bowflex? I work out on the bowflex every other day and ride my bike or walk just about every day. Should be every day but I miss that once in awhile. I am really enjoying the bowflex!!! Give me another few weeks though before I give ya'll a good critique!

Okay, PROUD MOMMA MOMENT! Parent Teacher conference tonight. Teacher says she has never seen a teenage daughter who has as good a relationship with their Mom as DD and I do. She says she never worries about having to tell me things, that she knows DD will tell me long before she does. I will try to remember this the next time DD screams at me as she heads for her room saying "I'm NOT talking to you!" Teacher also tells DD how wonderful it must be to be able to talk to your mom about anything...of course DD is about 14 shades of red by now. I like that they include the kids in the parent- teacher conference this year. I wasn't sure how I would feel about it, but it's really cool.

Keep the pins away from my swelled head will ya?

Good Evening Ya Ya's. Proud Debster moment here (for ME!!!) I work IT support for a mid-size, semi national Audio Video Retailer. We are 170 stores, and I have been with the company since we were 13 stores (talk about growth). I have always worked support positions (customer service, Merchandising, and IT). Every month the store managers write month end reports, and part of that is a nomination for an E.T.C. award (Effort That Counts). Well, I was just awarded the ETC for this past October!! Yay for me. I get a plaque, a tshirt, and a voucher for a $100 gift certificate from one of 15 different stores!!!!

This is cool in and of itself, but, I was told by the administrator that I have won this award more than anyone else in the company. (7 times in 11 years). They like me, they really like me. Hee hee hee

So, I have to choose what I want, then I get to shop.

Sherry and Kim--good thoughts to you both for your moms.

Jodie--COLOR that hair GIRL. I am 36, and have been coloring since I was 28. (My mom was entirely white at 34 so I never stood a chance). My salon uses a product called "Shades" and it is super shiny, semi-permanent, and covers my grey very niceley. I am a medium gold/brown and this past time my stylist added a capful of "Rocket Fire Red" for a little ZIP!
