Was just at McD's....so that's what the YENSID SUPER VALUE MEAL was all about!:)
Svelte? Um... well, not quite, but thank you. :) :o
LOL!!! They named one after me??? Shouldn't I bet getting a cut of the profits??? Anyone know a good lawyer I can call to challenge? After all, if a lady can win tons of cash for spilling coffee on herself, it'll be a cakewalk with them using my name without permission! ;) Wait... lemme reread that sentence.... Mmmmmm... cake. :p

LOL GP!!! :teeth:

That sounds cool Kimmy! You're all really creative about the yearbook!! One more goodbye to add... Aloha. Well, it's both hello and goodbye, but it still works. :p Talk about timing. Last Friday's Peanuts comic had some "goodbyes" in it. Deb covered most of them, but I'll add:
Auf Wiedersehen
Sayonara
Konichiwa (sp)
Hasta la vista - the Terminator :p

Um, losing weight... raiding the fridge.... I guess that sorta does send a mixed message, huh? ;) Well, there isn't much in there to raid. And the unhealthy stuff is all gone. So the starvation diet works quite well. :p :p

Oooh! Thanks Deb!!

Yay! GP!! Keep talkin'!! :p

Bleh! Off to wade my way through Word Perfect 10... haven't looked at it....new to me w/this 'puter. Anybody want to do the text for the yearbook for me? I don't wanna. :(

Eeeeh! Jay sneated up on me. :)

Thanks for the additional languages!!! I just realized... I should also do hello... beginning of the book (title page) all "Hello" and the "End of the day" page... "Goodbye". :)

Wait... lemme reread that sentence.... Mmmmmm... cake.
LOL! You're hopeless! :p

Speaking of McDonalds.... :p (Anybody wanna guess where I'm going with this....?? ) :p Heeeey Nancy!!! Have you seen the McD's tv commercial they're apparantly only airing in your neck of the woods? Now how fair is that I ask you!?!? Also..... the employess have all been given Apolo pins!! Argh!! Dang it!! Guess I'm going to have to get a job at McDonald's now. :o

Konnichiwa-Kon(this) Nichi(day) wa(a particle...long story)..don't ask for the Korean...it's too complicated....JAMBO!!!!

Kimmy--do you really want Hello's? I can do that too

Buenas Dias--Spanish
Hola!--also Spanish
Bom Dia--Portugues
Guten Tag--German
Aloha--As Jay has pointed out
Hey--American Slang again
Bonjour--French
Buongiorno--Italian

Marilyn--I kind of have a 'thing' for languages. Speak Spanish and Portuguese proficiently enough to be understood by most. I can understand French and Italian. I also have a tiny smattering of German and American Sign Lang. It's just something that comes pretty easily to me.

Are you muscially incline too Deb? :)

I know alot of folks who find lanuage easy are also quite muscial too!

Jeannie, I knew you would like the exploding chicken.:teeth:

I'm impressed too Deb. I flunked out of German in high school. My dad and grandfather couldn't help me because they taught "high German" in school and they spoke "low German". No hoity toity genes in my family.:p

Shssssss.....not so loud Debster.....or everyone will want one[/b]

Me! Me! Me!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: I want a thing! Is it a good thing? A snazzy thing? What color is it? Oh, I could really add some  question here, so ta-ta for now before I get into trouble.

Kim....I've heard the McD's commerical on the radio.
Haven't seen it...don't get local programming :(

Too bad my kids weren't a wee bit younger or they would know someone that worked at McD's for you.........they used to when in high school.

Christin was a year book person in high school :teeth: That's the year it came out great and not too many mistakes.........

Jodie hands Marilyn and GP rolls of duct tape!!! pssst....Debbie...where can I get a "thing"?

All joking aside....I am always soooo impressed by people who are multi-lingual!!! It is NOT one of my "things"....was always a struggle. How do you use this special talent Deb? That is quite a gift.

This Dream can attest to the successes that can come from following GP's wise and oh so healthy advice!! Listen to him ya'll!!

BONNIEEEEE!!!!! Here is a big {{{{{HUG}}}}} that will be waiting here when you get here tonight!!! THANK YOU!!!!! So I get this package in the mail today ya'll....on the outside is printed my new philosophy..."Dipped in Chocolate and served with Champagne"!! Wonder what the postman thought of THAT? :teeth: Inside is a beautiful card and a Disney pin...with Eeyore and Pooh on it...and a couple of very powerful words..."Never Alone". Bonnie you just forgot one thing...a tissue! Thanks my friend....that was VERY sweet of you!!
Ya'll......with Ya Yas as "sistuhs", I know I will never be alone. Scuse me....gotta find a tissue.....

Awww Jodie, what a sweet and thoughtful thing for Bonnie to do. Very special friends here, indeed.

Marilyn passes Jodie a tissue....oh, sorry Jodie. Just use the piece of it that isn't wet.

Hey! I asked for a thing first. I get first choice of thingies. Quit pushing up to the front of the line muscle building Harley chic! Don't forget, me and my 14 friends can take you, you know!!!

Awww....you're welcome! Now, will ya lay off me about the diet!

Just teasing.....;)

This is what DH said about the December trip: If you really want to, but I won't be happy about it. Talk about a mixed message!

I am having a debate with myself. Go to Columbus on Saturday and go shopping with Elaine, or do the taxes. Hmmmm....I just don't know....I'm going to have to wait on that decision as we had a bad ice storm today and everything is covered with ice. Do you know how pretty ice covered trees are when the sun starts to shine?

Woo hoo!!! Survivor night!!!!

Nancy, no worries about the bid amount. I put it out there for an amount I'm happy to get. :)
I really do hope you get the antenna ball. :) I know it's going to a good home

 It isn't going to this good home!!
And I had a spot all ready for it on the topper perch.
Oh well.....Jay, ya made an extra 25 cents ;)

I noticed that whoever got it waited till the last minute. :( I wish I had an extra one. I'd find a way to get it to you. ;)
LOL about the 25 cents! :p Hmmm... better make sure I don't spend it all in one place. ;) :p

Note to self: avoid TV tonight. :p Just teasing! Well, mostly. ;)

Ahh.. the weight loss thing. Just like GP said, I watched what I ate, controlled my portions & did some exercise. The hard part is doing *more* exercise. Now if only I could have such an awesome physique as our own Goof. *sigh*... the stuggles of perfectionism... ;)

A *thing*?? A *thing*??? Okay, I gotta be honest... This reminds me of an episode of Dexter's Laboratory on Cartoon Network when Dexter finds a way to translate what a dog says. The dog was barking at everything. After translation, all he was saying was, "It's a *THING*! A *THING*!! Lookit the *THING*!!! It's a *THING*!!" Oh well... That didn't sound as funny as when I saw it on TV. I guess it was a location thing... You had to have been there. :p

Bwahahahaha YA'LL, I knew as soon as the words left my fingers that I would be in trouble!!

GP--I LOVE music, am always listening to something, however, I am woefully untalented in the music area. Can't carry a tune in bucket, and never learned how to play an instrument. :(

Jodie--My company has about 15 stores in the greater San Diego area, and we have lots of customer's who cross the border from Mexico to buy. Most of our sales staff out there is bilingual, but if these customer's ever make it to the corporate office needing information, I am ALWAYS the one who speaks to them. I also translate for our cleaners (who are Brazilian, so I get to use my Portuguese as well).

I also learned ASL as a summer lifeguard, as we had 3 kids who were at our pool EVERY DAY who were profoundly deaf, and we needed to be able to communicate with them.

Hmmmm, now I will have to find some "things" to give to YA'LL....gotta work on that, and in the meantime, Duct Tape ALL AROUND.

I'd read this article about ebayers...I forgot what the term was for these "Just-in-time" vultures but they have programs installed to swoop in on an item just as it closes.

Bonnie...have you heard that Survivor Jeanne may STRIKE until the "little" girls get off their butts and do a fair share of work? Sound familiar, anyone?;)

I've seen them out there a lot. They keep from driving the price up, but they have to make sure they place a higher bid than the other person. Now that you say that, it doesn't surprise me that there's a program set up to do that. LOL... it gives a programmer something to do in their spare time, then sell it on ebay to make money off it. :p LOL!! :p

Well, I'm off for the evening. Have a long dinner thing and hope to check in later. Just in casee I don't make it back tonight, everyone have a good night. :)

ahhh...thanks for the thought. :)

Now looking at the antenna toppers on ebay, I found a site that has some mighty cool ones.....see what ya did Jay.....I'm in trouble (Again!) ;)
