Morning all

Having pity party for myself today or maybe a why do I want to strangle my DH party today.....we are going to phoenix for thanksgiving (dh's sister lives there) and we were suppose to spend the whole weekend. We were going to go to a mall( we don't have any here). And since it is my birthday this weekend I thought we would celebrate it with family or at least go somewhere fun( I 'll take a mall). well my DH informed me last night that one of the ohter chiefs needed the weekend off and he volunteered to work. So now we are coming back on Friday. He is now working on My birthday. I am soooooo Mad

Awwww P-nut, sorry to hear that! Wish you were closer, I would help you celebrate your b'day! I don't even have a 'puter
on the weekends so we can have a cyber party . But, the
other Sistah's can help you celebrate over the weekend. Nancy makes GGgggrreeaatt, calorie free desserts and Betty makes sketti (if she can keep it in the pan), CS is usually good
for a few cyber drinks and Pam well she's a great cook ,too!
(watch out for fur in the stew.) I'm sure there will be someone here to celebrate with you.

BTW, did I tell ya I saw Haunted Mansion on Saturday??!! Well, even if I did, I'll tell ya again--it was GREAT!!! I highly recommend it to all!!!!

Nancy, so sorry to hear about your friend.

Ran to a few stores this morning, and have to leave soon to do groceries. I'm sure all the grocery stores will be packed with last minute T-day shoppers.

Bought a Cranberry Chutney YC candle this morning. Have it burning now. It smells sooo good.

Yes, Yes, and YES to all the questions about exchanging Christmas cards! Nancy has my permission to share my info and I want a copy of that list too!

p-nut, sweetie, we can commisserate together....my birthday is this weekend too. And not only is dh working on my birthday, but he is working Wednesday thru Sunday--all 12 hour work days!!! Arrrggghhhhhhh!!! I get a 4 day weekend and he has to work!! I think I just might have to indulge in some retail therapy to dull the pain.

Pam! I'm with ya on the wall to wall people and that rigid schedule for the parks!! I don't mind scheduling a meet here and there, but I much prefer to "go with the flow". And the crowds are the very reason we get our Christmas dose the first week of December! Sooooo much nicer then!

So who all is going to be in WDW next week? Are we planning a meet of any kind as yet?

Better get back to work......boss is wandering around the office.....

Black Friday is a label the merchants gave to the day after Thanksgiving because the shopping frenzy of the day would finally put their profits into the black, even if it had been a bad year. So now ya know!!

p-nut, it sounds like we are going to have a heck of a birthday party after all!! We'll hit Kristy's for a bit , then we'll all pile into a limo and shoot out to Nancy's cuz it'll still be early on the West Coast!!

matilda?....ugh, she didn't like anything that caused me to move in any way shape or form unless she had a full tummy. she required multiple trips to the potties (wanna know where any are in any of hte parks? just ask, I know them all by hear), dr. today agreed on the due date being July 7 or 8, new countdown coming as soon as i'm done with the 2 assignments, 1 webquest (BIG project) for on line class, and final exam for real life class. Also, wanna do a trip report but must find time.
Highlights....cro couldnt' find our final payment on the the room said we owed more money..eventuall solved long story, forgot jarrod's second ticket had to buy 2 one day park passes ...grrr..not park hoppers...GRRRR, took too many cold weather clothes, not enough warm weather clothes...oh darn, I had to buy some extra tshirts!! jarrod decided several times to have 3 and 1/2 year old meltdowns requiring screaming, flailing, and the throwing of things but then I would calm down. ate and ate and ate and did I meantion I ate!!! all of the bad things worked out very comically and we had a fabulous trip, go for the savanah sometime, it is worth all the extra money!!!!!

okay, must feed matilda, Jar is with daddy tonight and I have to go bowling, probably going to tell the team tonight. A bunch of old foggies 9wonderful people though) the news and watch their faces turn funny shades of color as they try and figure this out. Of course these are the same ones that pointed out that I didn't have a ring on my fnger wehn they found out about my son who was 18 months when i started bowling!!

fyi...I don't use the smilies because they take too much time out of my very short train of thought to find and add so please forgive my lack of smilies, imagine them in different places and you will be just fine!!!!

Welcome back Tara!!! And you reminded me to say this... I am awful with Christmas cards! I really do WANT to make an effort this year, but honestly Christmas spirit is not strong for me anymore, so if you don't get one, it isn't personal, just me having troubles getting into it all again.

Betty, got rather frigid here quickly too! I miss summer....
