Hi there YaYas! The Cleveland Clinic trip is over and we won't have to go for another six months. (Mom was hoping that it would be a year). She has a new $cript--Femora--that is promi$ing to be expen$ive a$ it i$ new. The side effect is bone loss--oh joy, but the prevention of recurrence of cancer is worth that risk. The miracles of modern medicine.
Once again, thank you to all for the birthday wishes and the vacation wishes.
Jellyrolls Karen!~ I was going to look for you in chat. (Was going to try to find you tonight. ) I wanted to let you know that Ted and I went to Jellyrolls for the first time ever this past Friday. Oh boy! We had some fun! You were the first person I thought of telling that I did it! I look forward to meeting up there with you and the rest of the DISers that Friday in December.
Suzanne, glad you could stop by. I've been thinking of all that you are doing getting unsettled and trying to settle.
Whoo hoo for Todd and Amanda! That sure rocks to be winning a vacation, yup!
Liz glad that you are feeling better and I hope things go well this Thursday. That was such a touching story about your Mom. I've been so fortunate that I am best friends with mine and I try to let her know often.
John, will be sending PD for a good weather weekend. It sure has been something around here. Hope you haven't been over doing things after that first day. Be careful this weekend too.
Tara, eeks total bed rest. I pray for you. I know I would do it if I must and am so grateful that I didn't have too (almost though). I would be bonkers for sure. You will have earned the right to remind Ethan of all that he put you through whenever you need. So he best be a great man in honor of you!
Sherry, I miss those concerts. This is the first year we haven't had one of our DSs in one in many years. We went through Christmas concert season feeling like we were missing something and the same for now. I know you are enjoying every minute of it.
Deena, pretty soon your turn! I hope you have a great time.
RM, we were down all yesterday. I had so many other things to do that I didn't even miss the 'puter. Best be up tomorrow. Tons to do. I hope you found some other pleasures of work to keep you interested.
Karen, congratulations on your new little one. You know my cat went through several dogs. She outlived them all (17) and truly ruled. I am sure yours will too.
Pam, your story was such a pleasure to read. I can't wait to hear about the rest of the events you are going through. I know it will be some time. I bought stock in Kleenix, so you go ahead and use LOTS! (Everyone else too!)
Kristy, glad that you are "figuring" out the debits go to this side and the credits go to that side and the t-account is there; or is that backwards?
Beth, glad that you could help Kristy. Have fun with your research--a little DIS in between could lessen the stress of that.
Jeannie, as your day approaches, don't let anything upset you. Make it a point to have fun at YOUR party.
Elaine, Dan, Alan, Dave, Kimmie, Betty, Nancy, Tina and anyone I didn't mention this time as well as anyone who wants to come join us...mad love to ya!
Later YaYas...
