student: Ms. D...this isn't the right chapter number .
Me: I already explained that, my book is different from yours this equals ch. 12
student: can i use my book
Me: As I said before
(3 times already) Yes you may use your book
student: do I have to answer both questions?
Me: what did I tell you and what does the paper say?
student: "On the back of this test, write a paragraph taht answers one of the following questions.
Me: so how many do you answer?
student: both?
Me: read it again.....how many? Yes it does say how many you need to answer!! It says ONE time!!!!!
Student: can we write just one sentence to answer it?
ME: UH NO
student: Do you just want me to copy this whole paragraph from teh book
In my head: I said open book test, but if I wanted the information copied from the book I would do it myself!!
Outloud: No please don't copy from the book, please your own words.

I'm about ready to just shoot myself. You would think they had never seen any of these words. I am so over them!!! Where's the drinking smiley when you need it??????? UGH!! I literally screamed at my kids earlier for ignoring me and then when I explained again is when I got the above questions!!

So...if DD decides to go back and become a teacher, I should tell her "NO"!!

Fridge is here!! It's so clean and neat and empty inside. What a way to get cleaning done!!

Shopping is done......Exchange package is now ready to go to the post office tomorrow

DH is an engineer and he actaully discourages all the fancy dodads on things. Fine with me
We do have wonderful spring water here, so tap is just fine....and it is already cold too.

4 Yayas are in the cookbook exchange! Anyone else want in, just let me know!

Actually I am very annoyed right now and I want to catch up but I am annoyed... why is it when you look for something you cannot find it

Anywho... I might try to find the table & chairs for the deck (cheapo resin ones) in a few, but I wanted to come home and relax first.

Dang it!!! What a day this is... Josh Groban is coming back to Columbus and all the good seats are gone again

I hope he remains popular and comes back again!!! I don't want to pay more money for worse seats this time... oh well...

Thanks for letting me vent. And Nancy the answer to that question is a resounding NO!!!!

I probably won't be back until Sunday. I'm going to get my car its 6,000 mile well baby check up, then going to get the hair cut and colored, then off to Richmond for the final class. Mom and Jar will probably meet me in Williamsburg Sat. afternoon at Busch Gardens. So i'll check back in when I can on Sunday.

Hi all, just when I was about to give up and pout at home tonight, my dad called. He was the one who wanted to see Josh Groban so I didn't mind that the best seats were gone. He'll bring binoculars and I love his voice so it will be cool to hear him again. And honestly the same will be true about Clay (but I will be calling Luis next sat at 11:50 am )

The other thing my dad did was tell me there were some patio tables & chairs on sale at K-Mart. Now I normally never go there, but for this I was willing. I just wanted cheap yet pretty resin chairs & tables. So I found a set in stone. Not the shiny resin either, so it works for me. On sale 4 chairs & a 55" rectangular table for $72 w/tax So now we FINALLY have something in our deck to sit and eat on!!

it's me....slinking back in....hope no one sent out the search party. I've been an extremely bad yaya and haven't checked in since maybe yesterday nor have I done a ketchup since like Monday....not really sure

I'll try to do a Lizfabulous ketchup on Sunday. Tomorrow I'll be scrapbooking for 15 hours and then Saturday I'll be cramming and have to take my exam at 6pm. Doesn't that just SUCK? A final exam on a Saturday evening....where's the puke smiley??

oh yah....highlight of my day: husband comes home to neighbor kids playing hockey in front of our driveway again. So he yells at them and then throws their net back to their side of the culdesac. Now I wasn't present...instead he relays the message to me WHILE I'm trying to take a nice relaxing bubble bath..of course it the relaxing part was ruined for me. So then I have to be the one to go outside and smooth over the argument between him and kids Thank goodness the kids mother understands my point(if you see me coming...move from in front of my driveway...and take your junk back to your own yard in the evenings..don't leave it on mine) and I apologized for my husbands behavior. MEN do they not have one single ounce of diplomacy in their bodies???

Nancy-I sure wish I had an extra closet. This apt. I moved into has very little storage. Don't know what I'm going to do with all my Christmas decorations Guess I'll have to downsize. Oh, and congrats on getting the charm.
