Hi yayas. Okay, the hamburger throat and sniffles have got to stop. Don't know if it's all the dust I'm stirring up or if I've got something else.
Beth, solid men's polos? Got Ed a bunch at Eddie Bauer years ago and he's still wearing those things. I'm a bad girl, if I find something I like (in this case, he liked) I will go back and buy every color. That's why I have 6 pairs of Khakis from them-too bad they don't fit anymore!
Liz-Sounds like you're on the right track. So, you're gonna be in a cast with a foot that looks like a check mark? I can relate to having the cast forever and then having to have it again after surgery...happened to me twice with the blasted right wrist.
Lily, glad your hubby got through what must've been a nerve wracking morning!
Amanda-My sis and I got through Dad's birthday that first year by going to his favorite place in the US, Skyline Drive. We spread his ashes that day and whenever I travel there, I feel like I'm at Dad's. If you can, try to do something your Mom liked to do or go to a place she enjoyed. Cry as much as you need to.
Lainey-woo hoo, I'm in a yaya exchange. My yaya will be getting some goodies from Mickey, since I'll be in WDW for a few days before the deadline. Gosh, if she likes those Italian charms, I can go get some disney ones!
Nope, not a charm person here. Can't wear bracelets at work, and the one I loved was lost at WDW...it was a gold mickey head bracelet that mom found at an estate sale. I've only seen one other person wearing anything close to it.
Tara, Kev went through a stage of saying "pooped out' instead of 'popped out'! LOL at the typo.
Boo, almost all metal here, couple of nonstick pans. I'm getting a silpat to use for some cookie baking, but not bakeware.
Nancy, did you get your JD charm?
Gotta say, after looking at those pics, some people don't look at all like I pictured.
Back to cleaning/packing. Gotta get a Goodwill run today, then start on the basement!
