Board sponsor may have to switch up their strategy, because they love them some stripped contracts. It’ll be quite interesting if this actually has the unintended consequence of making resale more attractive. It might also help increase the value of fully loaded contracts over stripped ones, which I think would also be a good thing.
This one surprises me much less than your first one. Still sucks and I'm sorry that it happened to you.

Ours recorded today at 2. Or at least that’s when I saw it on the county website.I keep checking to see if the deed recorded and nothing so far. I am seeing that ROFR are still coming back very quickly! Hope that means we will get our points soon!
Keeping my eye out to see if we can try once more before that 500$ fee comes in. If not maybe dvc just won’t work out for us.This one surprises me much less than your first one. Still sucks and I'm sorry that it happened to you.
Plenty of AKV contracts out there!!
You’ll get one, just keep trying. But don’t settle for less than what you want, don’t go a different Use Year, or amount of points that doesn’t work for you, just to get one to go through.Keeping my eye out to see if we can try once more before that 500$ fee comes in. Not at that price point.

Nicely done! Congrats!tobeychris---$114.5-$18320-160-AUL-Oct- 0/24 0/25, 0/26, 160/27-subsidized, seller pays closing- sent 12/19
Seller obviously pays 25/26 dues, but also paying all closing, so it was more like $111/point.

I could get used to these ROFR timelines!!
Keep us posted on when you see points - I'm super curious if they're going to continue this fast points loading or if all the fast loadings lately were just to finish up before they shut down.Ours recorded today at 2. Or at least that’s when I saw it on the county website.
Congrats!!E2ME2---$136-$8575-60-BLT-Jun-0/24, 0/25, 125/26, 60/27- sent 12/22
*** Costs are Rough Estimate. My $8160 offer was accepted just hours ago - once I actually get contract I will update with better figures.
I know 136 is not the best deal I’ve seen for BLT but for a small points contract, and double points for 2026, PLUS I’m sliding in under the wire to avoid the new $500 CAF, I think it’s a good deal.
Funny part is we are staying at BLT for the first time in February, and thought we would look for an add on there if we really liked it.
That strategy was formulated before the new fee popped up.
We know we will like being close to MK, and now we will have a DVC home resort near every park.
Couldn’t resist. And felt good about negotiating it to $136 - seller had it listed at $150 ($9000). I offered $8000, seller countered with $8500, I countered his counter with $8160
The broker told me she was getting slammed with contracts, all trying to get in before the new fee kicks in !!

Exactly, is $500 worth a Iightning Iane for D\/C?And what better way to temper the news of the new $500 fee?
Get things moving faster which makes the trade off more appealing!! lol

IMO 100% yes!Exactly, is $500 worth a Iightning Iane for D\/C?![]()
I don’t disagree, but it also depends on the contract… if it’s a great deal and not too small, where the impact is less per point then yea, but on a so-so deal of 25 points, not so sure.IMO 100% yes!
I’ve been through the wringer when it comes to resale as far as how long the process has taken. I gladly would’ve paid $500 those times to just be done and have my points. While I know this has nothing to do with the seller signing etc if things were quicker on Disneys end I would’ve saved 60 days.I don’t disagree, but it also depends on the contract… if it’s a great deal and not too small, where the impact is less per point then yea, but on a so-so deal of 25 points, not so sure.
Same here id pay $500 for them to do it quicker, waiting for points to load is torturousI’ve been through the wringer when it comes to resale as far as how long the process has taken.
