Good morning all... I was in a bit of a snit last night. Luis IM'd me to tell me he'd be going to celebrate a coworkers birthday after work. He'd be home about 7 or so. Well 8 rolls around and since I didn't realize it was 8 I wasn't worrying

but he calls and apologizes and says he'd like to go over to Chipotle for dinner with them (Chipotle is fast food Mexican for those who don't know). So 10 PM rolls around... I had to call him and he still hadn't left yet. I was PO'd. And he didn't quite understand why

Men!
Anywho....
Nancy, you and your DH are in my prayers today
So Jeannie, I got Dawn's wedding invitation this week... still looking to get yours

Glad that you are getting everything booked. What type of place are you getting married at?
LOL, I don't think you can scotchguard a dress... but a small hint is to have water only to drink (or other totally clear beverages!) before the wedding especially, avoid red wine, marinara sauce, and just eat bread and water and you'll be okay

But seriously bring Shout wipes with you!!! They do wonders!!!!! We used them on my sister's dress to help get some stains out after her husband stepped on her train!
Oh what did I get Dawn? (no she doesn't read here

) She had a bunch of towels (like 14) she registered for and they were all on sale so I got her all of them (still a bit pricey though) So for her shower I am giving 3 of them to her (kind of like a small set) and a candle and some other cute things. For the wedding she'll get the remaining 11 of them. Seemed like a good way to go and now she won't have ot worry about having to buy any of them (people don't buy in sets and it is annoying

)
Beth I checked yesterday and our pollen levels were through the roof! Out of a score of 0-12 we were at an 11 yesterday. Even people without real allergy troubles can feel it during days like that. I hate this time of year
Oh and Jeannie, you could always have one of us DJ too if you like

Actually seriously a lot of people I know now a days for the reception, burn their own CDs and get a 5 Disk CD changer for the reception. That way they get the songs THEY want and maybe ask one friend to switch out the CDs and announce your arrival, dance and all that. Much easier to deal with

Out of the 5 weddings I've been to recently, only 1 had a DJ.

Nancy... take care today!
