Hey, ya'll have been quiet! Must be some busy Memorial Day celebrating YaYas out there!

Kimmie, just keep in mind what I said. I currently extended the offer to three ladies who have no plans at the moment... one said she'd think about it, one said most likely not, and then you... so imagine the time we'd have together... I'll make sure your stay would be quite affordable

Awwww... Thank you!! You're just too cool! It would be wonderful!! Now to sit back and see how much damage the siding, windows and paint does to my savings account. My new garden window went in yesterday! Yay! It's so bright and cheerful in there now!

Well, as of Tuesday, I believe my internet service will be axed. Cancelled the old service as of the end of this month in anticipation of the new service, buuuut... the new modem hasn't arrived yet. Poop. Sooo unless it arrives Tuesday, it seems I'll be taking a little internet break. Sigh.

Just figured I'd pop in and say hello to everyone. It's a beautiful Sunday here in Boston, and I'm heading over my cousin's house for a cookout in a few hours! Yay!

Elaine, I agree that the debaters are somewhat annoying (two imparticular stand out, but I'll be a good girl and not name any names). Hopefully once they get over the fury of having lost their board, they'll move on.

Liz, why are you taking mom to the airport? I told you that we arranged for her to stay another six months (and beyond when more money comes rolling in). Hey, ya'll!!! Been a bit busy 'round the old homestead this weekend, but am now taking a much needed break to visit with my favorite family!

Yay, not only is the Shep family back in town, we have pix already!! Amanda stayed behind the camera again, I see Looks like you all had a great time and visiting the aquarium and the birds was a wonderful idea!!

Sigh....I'm missing John-Con and cheesecake!!! I know all attendees will have a great time, just hope the weather cooperates for ya!

And Liz is headed for the airport?! Hope you are able to refrain from pushing mom onto that plane!! Just remember, her heart was in the right place, to want to come and help out while you were laid up. Hope your recovery continues swiftly--we have a Christmas trip to plan!!!

Nancy got some rain for her pretty flowers! Gotta agree, great way to spend a rainy afternoon--at the movies! I want to hear a review of "The Day After.." when you get back--Dave and I are considering it for tomorrow.

Beth, we had eight days of stormy weather here in Boston. Yesterday was sunny, but windy. Today is perfect. Around seventy degrees, sunny, light wind. I'm surprised I'm not sunburnt yet Oh, so I don't have to try to figure this place out? Cool. Dang ya'll it's down right HOT here in Fl. today! If it's like this next week at Disney we'll be spending most of our time at the pool .

Aww Beth, too bad we couldn't have met up at Wally World. It's so much more fun to shop with a friend All I picked up was a bathing suit for DS, some bottled water and some refills for scrubbing bubbles toilet bowl scrubber thingie. Fun stuff huh . Already picked up Miracle last week and LOTR. Haven't seen either yet.

JRKaren- Nothing to figure out here, we're pretty much just a silly, chatty, bunch of YaYa's just having some fun. Now if you're trying to figure out who is who and trying to remember names then you might wanna take some notes. That's what I had to do until I learned who was who from where

Baseball game was great! Weather held out for us..so no rain..and the Bulls actually WON

Oh yah....two quick movie reviews....we rented "Looney Tunes" and "Cheaper by the Dozen".....
Looney Tunes was very cute for those of you that love cheap laughs (like us). Daffy is hoot
Cheaper by the Dozen was also very cute, just in a different way. I had at least two tears going by the end of it. It's a feel good "family is the best" type of movie. For those of you that have seen it...I'm a grown up Sarah. She rocked.

So....off to cuddle my hubby and get some sleep.

Hi all... busy busy here today... got suckered into seeing Day After Tomorrow and I must say I was pleasantly surprised with that movie!!! It cracked me up big time!!! I had extremely low expectations of it, so I was happy I went.
