And I also got our DL ressies all booked up so now I don't have to pay cash for a room!!! Life feels good

Oh and my brother is in today as well!!!

Oldest DS just came home from school and a girl on his bus has meningitis!! This is the third case of meningitis at his school.
I can't wait for school to be over.

I am home and ummmm Happy...well sort of...I hurt, but I am now stichless...thanks to the seam ripper!! But i have managed to take a very nice and long nap...which serves serveral very imporant purposes.....one being I took naps for ALL of you today, I escaped my mother and I got some much needed sleep! So hopefully this will help witht eh healing process!!!

So then Iwake up from this wonderful nap to find a very big box to oopen!!!!! Oh boy!!!! he box is huge and brimming with stuff!! I will ry my best to remember it all...here goes, a very nice pair of margarita glasses and salt dish and salt, wine charms, Mickey refreezable ice cubes, ice pops, wine charms, a Mr. Potatoe Head stuffed "animal" a Nemo Ocean Favorites CD, a little farm animal set, A Friends Forever Pooh activity book, candy and a VERY lovely Princess Towel!!! I hope I remembered everything!!!! What a great package....thanks so much Suzanne for the WONDERFUL package!!!!!

So I got to see my ugly leg today!!!! It is pretty ugy!! I have 4 lovely incisions.....3 of which have gone where no surgeon has dared to go before.....but alas, the Minnie tatoo has been saved with in millimeters of her life.....I gotta tel you it is getting very close! I also got a gold star for being an obediant patient.....they could tell by the bruising that my leg was elevated very nicely!!! Yeah!!! So now I have a bight shiny new cast, thanks to the not so nice nurse and will be getting it off June 21rst at 8:15 am promptly!!! I am also a free woman....no more bed rest! I can move about the countryfreely....as tolerable! Yeah!!

Now Pam, try as I may...and I DID try, they would NOT let me keep my old splint! It was perfect for you.....2 weeks ripe and ready!! So I have already told tehm, this next one is for you!!! And it will be 4 weeks aged and ripend to perfection!! Don't go disappearing on us thiinking we won't find you!!! WE WILL!! I also got a little something ese in teh mail today Pammykins that I need to be sending you!!! Ah thee joys of sharing my torment!!!!! More on that later! Mad, mad love you you! Hope all is well!

Kristy, nice to see you if only for a moment! I think that was you zooming by!! Next time you might try a leasurely just so we can all wave a smidge more!!

JRKaren, so glad to see you are still hanging around even though I might ocasionally call you a silly name!! For the record, you are one crazy and wild chickie.......but yes my friend, that is a term or endearment.....actually al of them are!! Now about that roster, Nancy seems to be teh keeper of all that great information! I am sure she will send you one if you ask nicly! It really does help quite a bit in getting to know everybody and ketchuping!!!

Sherry, sorry to hear about the menegitis! I hope it is just a scare!!! I can't even imagine!! It is a good thing I am not a mother becasue I would be one nervous nelly about that!! TC, wearing "Big Boy Pants" huh? I have heard that somewherebefore...but then I'M not Going To Disney!!! You really made me chuckle there.....OK so you made me belly laugh!!! Good thing about having this done now, shorts are very much in season...although I am NOT afraid of wearing my pajama's (aka lounge pants) in public! There is a very distinct differance between jammies and lounge clothes..very simply...no bra = jammies.....bra = lounge clothes!!! But today Iwas a good girl and wore shorts a shirt and the proper undergarments!!!

RM, what is up there girlie? Howis that system running these days? Hope all is wel in your neck of the woods! I hear it has been quite hot there these days! Do you best to keep cool!!

Nancy, how did the cookies turn out? Are you getting excited about your trip! I think I would be busting at the seams!! Does your hubby have any idea yet? There is no way I could ever keep a secret that long!!! Good luck with all of that!

Day 5, not sold. Still working on packing...oy! The basement is the project for the evening.

To top everything off, boss is on vacation and I'm training the two new managers. Oh well, she started training them while I was in Florida, so I guess it's to be expected! They're both great and full of pixie dust, woohoo!

Got a few hours to go to ESPN Zone last night for a work event. We had fun.

Sorry, no ketchup for now---I think there's about 1000 pages to ketchup on!

Just popping in to tell ya'll about the lovely piece of art I received in the mail today. It was an "oh so appropriate" pink flamingo and looks lovely in its place of honor on my fridge. Thank you Liz it's beautiful!

I am just exhausted tonight so calling it an early evening. It is almost 9:00 so very close to my bedtime anyway.

Yay!!!! Well that wraps up our exchange!!!!! Everyone sent and received and I didn't have to do much work to make sure all were out!!! So thank you all and this was a lot of fun!!!!

I drove by my dad's on the way home and saw his car out in the driveway so I stopped by... had dinner too. I might go back over there for a very short while if they don't come here. I will see them tomorrow as well but I wanted to come home to my kitties for at least a little while

Sherry, I will keep everyone in my prayers. Bacterial isn't anything to mess around with... hopefully they don't share bottles and all that to worry. I had a friend who had viral and while it is still nothing to mess with, it is the lesser of the two evils I found out... still took her a month to recover.

Sherry, I saw the news today and there are a few cases of menengitis floating around. PD that those buggers stay away from everyone now. I think that's enough! Glad you have Kings Island booked up. I guess Todd and Amanda won't be having house guests. When are you all going there? I think I missed the date.

Storms on the way tonight and a colder day tomorrow. I don't sleep in storms. Neither does my Kirby (dog); he is afraid and won't let me sleep. Who was it that likes to sleep through storms? Sleep for me tonight ok?

I'm ready to go; have the bathing suit, snorkel and mask in the carry on! I am also majorly stressing about it for some reason. Out of the country, plane flight, never been there...I guess I'm just tired. I know it will be one of the greatest experiences for sure.--Price is right anyway.


Have a big day tomorrow, must do my banking and try to pick up my prescriptions as tonight I was denied by insurance and must find time in my day to work through the "system." I just hate this medical game I am in the midst of yet I appreciate that I have medical coverage at all.
