I have a major problem with the UPS shipping - new system, new computer - don't know what I'm doing - but then, neither does their tech people! Had to push the shipment back a day - so I'll be spending all of Monday trying to get back on track.

Don't laugh - but - the Boy Scouts are going ice fishing tonight - and somehow I got elected to carpool and drive!

In the ongoing saga of me being the grownup by default because of my boss's 'Mental Health Vacation' I was on deck last night to run a bunch of processes for month end. Well, it seems that AT&T and one of our network guys decided they needed to down the system at 1am for an hour and a half. (We have retail stores on the West Coast that are open til 9pm, so we cannot shut down prior to that). So...I napped from about 1am to 2:45, got up and moving around 3am (DH leaves for work around then, so he woke me) and worked for about another hour. Then back to bed around 4am, and of course Bubble Boy gets up at 6:30. ACKKKKKKKK


So....good morning to everyone!!! Marilyn, if you are going for cordless, get at least 900mHZ

Thanks, Jennifer! I'm glad someone realizes that I'm a girl! And - to boot, of course it's snowing again. We leave at 2:30 - and "hopefully we'll be home around 8:30-9:00." Yeah, right.

They just want me for my car, cocoa, and cookies! DH and DS owe me big time as this is their gig!

BTW, I posted a thread telling that my DS passed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on Wed.!! He was so nervous that he said the sweat was pouring down his back! (in the winter!!)

And DD made the HS danceline again! And she got hired to coach middle school level football cheerleading!

I'd really like to know who gave me this cold because it would make me feel really good if I could SLAP'EM UPSIDE THE HEAD!!!! I'm getting better... I think. I'm not coughing like I was, but this morning I'm back to being horribly congested. GAK GAK GAK!! This sucks! I always thought a cold lasted a week or so, then you were stuck with that lingering dry hacking cough for 6 weeks.... not this one.... nooooo..... let's have the whole enchilada for a month, sure that'll be fun!! ARGH!!!!

Anyhoo.... good morning everybody. I'm up, got my coffee... think I'll drink it and then go back to bed. Ugh! I had planned on getting back on my bike for the first time in three weeks.... Not sure it's going to happen though.

It's Rachel's b-day weekend and Jodie is having a b-day bash too... for.... ack... should we know? For who Jodie?

Jennifer is hearing voices.... well, we understand, really we do. But if you tell anyone in RL that you're hearing and talking to your internet friends in your head... well.... how about if we all just keep that to ourselves?

Tried to clean Cam's room a bit today. Scary place..... I think it's being taken over by the Lego Gods. They're everywhere! ....and where there aren't legos, there are computer guts. A panel with all kinds of chips, bits and Lord knows what else, a dead printer, cables and cords that it's anyone's guess as to what they belong to.... Spent 20 min. in there and wore myself out.... no energy.... not sure, but another visit to the dr. may be in my future. I should be FEELING BETTER by now.
