The Wright's Weekend with the Wookie (and various other adventures)Update 10/12!

We hit Animal Kingdom for an early ADR at Tusker House.. Don't you just love the empty park pic??

We wanted to do a Tusker House redo. Last year, Alex got hurt there during breakfast and it made for an (un)memorable experience:sick: The food is great there; very unique and they have the best juice! You do wait quite a while to be seated, even with an ADR (at least we have) but there is a covered area with tables for waiting.

After a filling breakfast (more bread pudding! more bread pudding pictures texted to poor Nana:laughing:) we headed to the Safari. This is the only attraction where I noticed people giving us the hairy eyeball as we walked briskly through the FP line. Have I mentioned that I LOVE:lovestruc:cloud9::love:Fastpasses??? We went to Kali after that and then on to Everest. We love all of these, but the boys are in the minority-they are GLAD that the Yeti is broken at EE. After circling through Dinoland (why us TRex so loud and scary??) we headed back for some pool time at the resort. Yet another trip to AK without seeing the Nemo show..someday, right!

hmmm maybe I could do a solo trip!? I dont know though... :scared1: I think I would be more sad for experiencing Disney w/o the kids that it might make it not fun for me. OR maybe I would have a BLAST!:rotfl2: It would make a lot of sense financially for sure... me going to Disney 1,000 - the hubby and kids = add another 2,000 atleast :scared1: Hmmmm maybe you and I go and take the boys and we can make it a mother son trip! :goodvibes Sooooooo many options.... but after watching that video, I know I want to be there for the run. Especially because I am running 28 minutes now and on week 9 of the C25K!!!

I LOVE that picture of the boys in DTD! So cute. We ate at Raglan Road before and will be going there again on this trip. When staying at POR its a great choice! You take a nice boat ride to dinner, get to shop, walk around after with drinks and its so pretty at night. We loved that bread pudding too. OMG it was DELISH!

Nickie-I know I have said it before, but I am so PROUD of you with your C25K success!

It would be weird to do WDW without the boys, but I think knowing that I will return with them again and again would make me feel okay with it. I am looking at a long weekend (Thur-Sun) at this point. It may be hard to leave them at home though, since it is a couple of days after their birthday...What to do, what to do??

After a nice afternoon swim, we hopped on the bus to MK. My plan was to walk to the CR from there, but Papa Jerry and the boys voted no. So we took the monorail over and walked down to Chef Mickeys. The last time I was at Chef Mickeys was when I was younger than the boys, so it was fun to go back! I liked the waiting area-as you can see, the boys lounged out and watched Hannah Montana while we waited.

Our supper was A-Okay. (more bread pudding!!)

A little boy at the table next to us lost his tooth during our meal and was bleeding profusely all over the place. It was pretty funny because he was SO PROUD and totally oblivious to all the blood.

We greeted all our Disney friends, and said goodbye to them until next time.

We took the monorail back to MK and happened to see the Electric Water Pageant as it went past. I was sad as we boarded that bus for the last time on this trip. I love knowing that we will return year after year (hopefully!) but still, seeing the Magic Kingdom recede in the distance makes me a little melancholy!

So-that's it!! We're headed home until next time!

Greg and I celebrate our 11th anniversary on 11/11/11 and have invited our wedding party and their families to join us at WDW! It should be a great adventure and I am planning to start at PTR soon. Thanks for reading:wizard:

Great wrap up- love the picture of you and the boys! Thanks again for your support on the C25K!! We will get there right!? I think a long weekend is what we are thinking as well.... a 4 night stay in october and then in february for Myles bday! What fun!!

Looking forward to planning along with you on your 11 - 11 - 11 Pre-Trip report for sure!

So, I just found your TR today when I saw the link in your signature (on a comment in Nickie's PTR) that said "Wookie". I was all excited, as I haven't seen many other people do TRs on SWW. So, I just read the whole thing and here's the crazy coincidence stuff:

You were at the same weekend as us.

You are fellow Minnesotans.

You were at the same 2am EMH at MK as us.

You were at the same dessert party as us.

You were at Epcot the same morning as us.

And...the biggest one...we are in one of your pictures! The one from the Summer Nightastic fireworks where you can see people standing along the rail...we are the second and third people from the left!

I just finished our SWW TR too, so I'll have to look and see if I see your family in any of our pics!

I enjoyed your TR and look forward to that 11-11-11 PTR!
