The World's Oldest Disney Bride and Groom!

I was thinking the other day about a vow renewal, and what the proper # of years would be. I was also thinking about our retirement when I turn 62 in 9 years, when we will be moving to FL to live.

I think it would be so much fun to kick off our retirement years with a vow renewal. (haven't asked DH to marry me again yet! ) After all, it will be a new beginning for us...probably the beginning of us driving each other crazy, by being together 24/7!!

Got me to thinking...I wonder if I'd be "The Worlds" oldest Bride?

Sounds like a wonderful plan to me! Remember to get on one knee to propose to your DH! We are planning an at home VR with a celebratory trip to the World. I love the idea of the VR in WDW, but when it came down to it, with 3 kids in college & an elementary age kid, I just couldn't justify the money.
I am very curious if anyone will give any info on "World" old brides. But remember, we are all young in Disney!

What if he says no?! We got married the first time at Shades of Green....we could do that again, or do an Escape Wedding. I know it's quite a time away, but I know I'll never outgrow Disney!

We are the other end of the spectrum. Married young. We'll be 30 years. DH plans to retire in 9 years at 60. We'll see though. We'll have our youngest just graduating high school that year.

That doesn't make either of us "old"...maybe the "oldest" that has gotten married there, but not old!! Congratulations!!!

My Mom used to say, "with age comes wisdom". I like to believe I have become wise. Wise enough to know it's things like the "magic of the world" that makes life worth living.
