I just need two more, but what's killing me is waiting on the tooth pick drop. It is supposed to be 11% drop rate from Trick or Treat bags, but I haven't had any luck with it so far.

I wont tell you then that I get it at least once a day on one toon..LOL..

Major guild drama last night...Seems they decided to finish the Lich King kill from last week. Well DH and I were part of the group that went last time. I have one of the officers on my RealID list so if I am on another server, she can let us know whats going on. Well I happen to look at my list and see they are in ICC. When I log over, they had filled our spots. One was taken by the mostly absent guild leader, and the other was some guy who had been in the guild less than 2 weeks. When confronted as to why I wasnt invited to finish the raid we had helped finish, no answer was given. I am sure the vent was going strong about it, but they pushed on anyway. The guild leader KNEW he had taken someones spot, and did not care. After 30min of nothing, I basically just wanted an Im sorry, we screwed up. But no, that was to difficult. Other members whispered me and told me it was wrong what they did.

Whats worse, the stress of it was the final straw, DH and I got into a nasty fight over it(stress of life finally getting best of us) and i logged off and went to bed VERY VERY angry. Dh is wanting to quit WoW now, and quit the guild. I am willing to overlook it, as I did get an admittal of guilt on their part.

A first for me yesterday.... gaining a whole level in 1 day after level 75. Usually I gain about 1 level per week as I am a very casual player who likes to do lots of side things, not just quests / instances / raids.

Last night was interesting. My buddy is a level 80 pally tank, and very well geared. So he and I decided to go into Kara, as neither of us had done it. So, just the 2 of us went in as a raid group. I was a level 76 ret / holy pally. Things are going "ok", but it is slow going for 2 people.

Anyway, very early into it, we come across this horse called "Midnight". It is listed as a boss, but is in yellow writing, not red. So we walk up to it, and of course nothing happens. So my buddy attacks it to see what will happen.

Holy cow! With just the 2 of us, it took 10 minutes - or more - to beat that horse plus the add that came.... I kept wondering "when is this thing gonna die?'

But it would really have been worth it if we were lower levels and of the right class, as upon the horse's untimely death, it dropped THREE purple items.

So now, at least, after hitting 77 last night, I know I'll make 80 within about 10 days. My whole goal was to be 80 before Cata comes out.

Good luck on hitting 80, then the game REALLY begins, cause you can start running heroics. If you hit 78 before Hallows End is over, you can kill the HH too!

Oh, I have 3 level 80's.... I just don't play them... LOL...

I get to 80 and then get tired of all the nonsense in heroics.

I know you said you are a casual player. But it is a real shame you have never done the whole of Karazhan. It is one of the greatest, most fun, and most well-designed raids in all of WoW.

It seems like we have lots of degrees of gameplaying on this thread. How "far" has everyone gotten? I would consider myself a casual player, but my interest is on and off; I have played since 2005. I have killed LK a few times in 10 man but never in 25. I also have over 7k achievement points.

I'd say I'm a "high end" casual. I'm working diligently on getting Loremaster done before Cata and that's my main concern and we're just starting to dip our toe into raiding. But then again too, I mainly play on weekends. I rarely do much more than dailies each day and then of course the holiday boss during those times. But weekends are my time to be hardcore.

ETA to answer my own question... I had to re install "Everyquest questgivers" and this worked. I now see all "!" on the map and as an fyi if you guys are interested.

Well, I started playing about 3 months after the game came out. I have low tolerance for people who act like jerks in the game, so when I get to 80, I generally only play my 80's when friends need help.

My 77 pally has about 1300 achievement points, which places me 14th in my guild of about 120 characters.

I think we will get backto Kara at some point, as long as it doesn't disappear after Cata comes along.

Haha..you beat me to it..Everyquest is a great one, and also Loremaster is another good one. Loremaster will tell you if a quest you are doing counts toward the Loremaster achievment right on the quest text. This way you can skip some of the useless ones

Type of player...casual raider. I raid usually 3x a week. With the new lockout, its a mix of 10/25 runs. I am 11/12 in 10 ICC and 7/12 in 25 ICC. Its hard getting 25 ppl on all at once but all of my 80's are wearing a mix of T10 and ICC gear.

I'm pretty casual, but when I play I'm always working on something. We're 11/12 in ICC10 with 4/12 hardmodes, 10/12 ICC25 with 2/12 hardmodes. I've got in the neighborhood of 6200 achievement points, currently working on Loremaster and Wintersaber trainers exalted for the mount before Cata.

Well, don't need it now. I hit Loremaster last night! Phew, now I have to figure out what I'm going to start working on next!

Just got word the pre-expansion events are STARTING NOW! The elementals are invading Azeroth, and the Twilight Cultists are attacking the cities..

I never did get the HH mount, but I would like to have that one.
I was going for the masks one but still am at 11/20; that one could take years to finish since it's so random. (I already have the long strange trip achievement).

I was trying to do some random achievements over the weekend.
I won't be on tonight but towards the end of the week.

Here is my public promise... I will NEVER fish in the Dalaran fountain again. In fact, I will never play another toon that fishes. That stupid coin achievement was insanely long, for no real payoff

I'm at 78 now, and this may be the only character that I will play through the heroics. I feel pretty comfortable as a ret pally, as opposed to my shadow priest. My pally does tones more damage - like twice as much - as my level 80 shadow priest, and my priest is even wearing some great purples for being shadow.

Well I'm marking alot of stuff off my pre-cata bucket list. I've been farming and selling like mad to save money too. Although, I did buy my guild's last bank tab. Now we have all 6 and that's going to be saved for 80+ stuff for Cata. Since I was off yesterday a fellow guildie and I tried some random heroics (just the two of us pallys). He was tanking and I was switching specs between healing and dps. Managed to get pretty far but when we needed more dps, we kept wiping. So it's pretty cool to say that we got the 1st boss 1/2way down in FoS with just the two of us. Other than that, I've just been working on random achievments as well.
