Soarin is exactly the same as in California except I think the oranges have a stronger smell in Florida and Florida definately loads slower! That line takes forever, even with a fast pass!

I did tell you all what Hippo got for Christmas - you'll have to go back and re-read!

I agree about the lines for Soarin ...even with FP it took a bit. Still a fun ride though and my mom & MiL LOVED it!

Very cool scrapbook! I really liked the pages themed for attractions such as the Jungle Cruise ...I'll have to use that with my digital scrapbook You're making some great memories there

The lunch with Pooh & Friends looked like a lot of fun, great character interactions and I hadn't heard about the parade ...that's very cute The food sounded good to and it's hard to go wrong with a buffet. Well other than trying to get up and walk around after getting so stuffed

Chapter 18 - We’re Stuffed....Is That A Pirate I See?


Okay, I’ll admit it....I ate way more then I should have for lunch at Crystal Palace. It was just so nice and cool in there and I tend to be a grazer and can eat ridiculous amounts of food without even realizing it if I am in the mood to eat. And apparently I was.

Anyways....we rolled ourselves out of the restaurant and back out into the beautiful Florida sun.

We wanted to make our way over to the Jungle Cruise but on our way we ran into some friendly CMs who told us Captain Jack Sparrow was there and had no one waiting to see him.

Cool!

Lets go! Arg, I’m a pirate!

The CMs were right - we walked right in and met the man himself!

He was a hoot! The girls loved meeting him and he carried on with all the usual antics that you would expect a pirate to have.

Then we had to do the family shot...

After our escape from the pirate we got back on track and headed to the Jungle Cruise only to find there was a 40 min line up!

Oh no!

We were about to leave when a kind stranger offered us fast passes!

Woohoo!

I love it when others spread the Disney Magic!

Went and rode Pirates again because well, we were right there and who doesn’t love a pirate.

Then we headed over to Small World.....

I know that is probably one of the most hated Disney ride but I love it!

Yes, call me corney but its Disney at its best!

Okay, not its best - but pretty darn good. Small World in Disneyland is so much better....

Anyways....a couple of pics just because I can!

Then it was over to Big Thunder Mountain Railway.

Rode that and then we tried to cut over to somewhere but we were cut off by the parade.

Seems like now would be a good time to stop and watch it seeing as it has us trapped!

Then the brooms. I know, why did I take a pic of them? Because Tink was one of those dancing brooms for her first dance recital years ago. Not exactly what I had in mind for my daughter’s first recital - a broom - but she was. So I took the pic for her!


And funny enough, she was Mary Poppins in the last recital!

Ahhhh, Great update. Sooooo cute. My girls are Jaq & Susie (the mice rom Cinderella) in an upcoming school play so I know we'll be on the lookout for them next time, despite never caring about them before! Being someone yourself changes your perspective, eh?

Great update and pics. Lucky you got to meet Captain Jack . He wasn't doing meet & Greets in October. I looked and asked several CM's but apparently it was a trail basis. But DD did get picked to be in the show so it's all good.

OMGosh, I am sooooo far behind on your TR its crazy . I have a lot of catching up to do on my part LOL. With 3 kids, homework for the 2 of them, homework for me since I went back to school and work, I don't have much time anymore. Are you planning another trip anytime soon? We are going back this August/September for a do-over trip . I sure hope its better this time around. Ok, off to read some of what I've missed before I head off to work. TTYL!!
